It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.3.0 has been released on 2014-11-19. I started using this app about a year and half ago and it showed promise that it just never lived up to Now they take away search bar function In what alternate reality does this NOT render this app absolutely worthless This avic indash unit is the first and last pioneer product I will ever buy If you are going to charge me good money for a product how about some longevity on product support Traveler

I really hope that pioneer goes bankrupt After spending 1600 on a top of the line navi it is useless in under 2 years Avic feeds stopped working with the introduction if iphone 4 Pioneer no updates Skip forward another year iPhone five came out No move video playback on the navi unit Pioneer no updates And now 18 months since my purchase date the navi unit is discontinued So definitely no more updates Next time go alpine Alpine actually care about customers and keep up with the market and start working on compatibility updates before new products are released The worst app and the worst company ever

Without the search bar this app is useless Say it aint so PioneerThis was the ONLY way to search a POI from your phone and send it to the in dash Even then it was not as slick as it could have been since it saved the POI address to my address book then you had to access the address from the in dash and set it as the destination but at least it worked clumsily but it did work Now nothing Whats the use without the search bar

Pioneer has removed the search function which is the only reason for the app A big failure and they need to fix this if they want to keep me as a customer When I buy their top of the line head unit I expect this applications to work longer than a year Not to mention I had to warranty the head unit once because it was crashing from time to time Massive failure No search function
I dont understand why a map app would remove the ability to search a POI or a direct location I used this app to more easily input an address into my AVIC rather than use the lunky on screen interface on the dashboard Without the ability to directly input an address this app is utterly useless It does allow you to import a POI from a picture but if I have not yet been to where Im going that doesnt help much Useless Map

I have Pioneer AVIC model units in three cars and have watched this app go from promising to useless Cant figure out if Pioneer needs to fire someone or if they truly are trying to alienate iPhone users and AVIC customers Needed improvements Put the search back in and be able to live feed searched destination to AVIC unit navigation without clunky sync process If you are buying an AVIC unit do not use this app as a buying feature Disappointing

I just started using avic feeds I know my radio is compatible But I cant seem do figure it out quite yet theres no search bar in the maps I thought you would be able to plan your destination before I got into my car
