Aviation Exam is exactly what I needed after ground school It generates tests just like you will take for your PPWE The study routine is like a test but not timed That allows you to study a few questions at a time when you get a break in your schedule When you get a wrong answer you can see an explanation why it s wrong Those questions associated with graphics allow you to magnify them as much as you need to see detail The wrongly answered questions can be recycled as often as necessary until you re confident that you know the correct answer Kudos on a well thought and easy to use pedagogical tool Thanks Michael                     It couldn t be better Mrk8165

Great interface affordable subscriptions however painfully slow database update It takes a very long time to download sync with database and it will not run in background It takes me multiple attempts and quite a long time to get the database set up Besides this major frustrating issue the app is phenomenal and there is no other like it out there                 Great app for written preps VladdaATG

There are many many ways to study for these tests Most of those ways offer exactly the same material as this way This way is nice because it consolidates all of the tests into one app on my iPad and iPhone beyond that it isn t anything special However ease of use and organization is quite nice Unfortunately this app fails to deliver I ve already listed its strong points so I ll list it s weak points Synchronization takes an excessively long time nearing an hour with a very high speed wifi connection it also occasionally fails to save requiring you to synchronize more than once in a day Test Questions Many figures do not work you can uninstall reinstall and re synchronize which can take over an hour and may or may not work These are really the only weak points I ve encountered unfortunately they render this app next to useless Fortunately these are things that the app developers can almost certainly fix if they care to Hopefully they do         Great Potential Poor Execution Ben_Schlen

Pro s less expensive versatile study options to the user good customer support regularly updated question bank and app limited explanations to answers Con s frequently outdated and occasionally incorrect questions subscription based question bank larger than current FAA s limited explanations to answers I would give it 3 5 stars if I could this is why I looked at all the FAA written prep apps I could find namely ASA Shepard Air and Gleim before going with Aviation Exam AE So far I ve used AE to prepare for the IRA FII and the CMX In each FAA test taken I found several questions that were NOT presented to me in AE Additionally several questions in the AE bank I found either outdated or incorrect common to ASA as well I m told That said I diligently studied and scored over 90 on each test The AE app gives its user the most study options for the least price however it only offers subscription based service that must be renewed after a certain time period generally 60 days Its question randomizer AI also tends to present the same questions repeatedly a challenge for studying larger question banks Bottom line you can shell out 4x the money for Shepard Air and get a smaller more accurate question bank less study effort and a guaranteed score or you can spend considerably less study harder learn better for it and still score well It all depends on your time and budget I ve chosen to continue with AE for the FIA                 Good value respective of other options Aeroingegneria

Unlike other test prep softwares this one doesn t have the option to show you only the right answer study mode But it itsn t bad I did my exams and I passed them both with 87 93 for CFI             Well it s worth 9 99 fedepilot
