I like this app and use it regularly There is just one thing that annoys me it does not flip around when you turn the iPad upsidedown Why is this a problem It means you cant prop it up on a stand while its plugged in If you want to use it this way when the battery is low you are out of luck If it would simply flip like almost every other app does you could have the power cord protruding from the top instead of the bottom and not have to worry about the battery dying Please please please change this Otherwise thanks for a very useful app as long as the batterys well charged           A simple request

This program is brilliant once you get a song learned The page flips can be put wherever youd like them Ive also tested it by changing tempo and making mistakes and it still performed flawlessly Since you program it yourself you can even start in the middle of a song and have repeats Onto the productive criticism I play trombone and page turns are very difficult on the iPad for me I found the programming difficult and frustrating at times I would programming the auto flip and hit my iPad on the right side and it wouldnt change pages This pretty much scraps the recording youve been doing Ive also hit the right side and have the page turn to the previous page Or it brings up the menu Which again makes you scrap your recording Maybe solve this by having the option to program a page at a time Meanwhile I am going to recruit a friend to do page turns while I program my songs A simple one when you are programming a song there is a header which covers the top line of my music If that could be transparent it would be much more helpful Thank you for making such a neat program and Im looking forward to seeing newer versions              I agree Nearly there

Heres the good You tap Learn and you play and turn pages yourself when you finish you click End After that you can have the song on auto and it will turn the pages at the same time you did initially even if you play at a different tempo My belief is that it somehow counts what it senses as beats through the iPads microphone I played the first movement of Moonlight Sonata 3 pages relatively fast while AutoFlip was in learn mode Then I had it in auto waited about 30 seconds before playing once in a while yelling at it to make sound and then played extremely slowly Sucker turned the page right when I did during learn mode There has to be an award for this sort of innovation Heres the bad When you import music AutoFlip does not maximize the image size and instead leaves a lot of white space around the perimeter that was not in the file you give it The screen is small for this purpose and you need the music as large as possible There is no turning your iPad to landscape or even portrait upside down How can I charge the iPad and use AutoFlip at the same time when I need to plug the cord into the bottom And I see no reason at all why you cannot have music formatted for landscape view and have AutoFlip still work Also folders would be nice in the Library so you can categorize things better and music should be sorted by composer first and then name of the piece Another must is the ability to modify what it has learned like turn the page a second or beat sooner or later Ive not played with AutoFlip much yet but I am very impressed Maximizing the size of the file is a must for usability and at least allow upsidedown orientation for those without a charging dock           Amazing concept but

I love the auto turn feature I do wish you could make markings on the document Its the one feature that if this app had it would make me use it 100 of the time Hopefully on an update soon theyll enable the editing document feature           Good app

My thirteen year old daughter aspires to be a great pianist but when she plays a really long and complicated piece she needs someone to turn pages I have been doing that boring job since the last year Now with this app I can really have free time watching her play piano by herself We are both happy with this great app Im really curious about how this app works but this app works seamlessly without any adjustment once she records her play into IPad My daughter and I did some silly experiments to test its performance like pausing for a really long time or coughing while playing but it always works I think that every penny is worth it All in all I think that this app would be very helpful to young students like my daughter who need someone to turn pages when playing or professional pianists who want to work alone                 Great app for my 13 year old daughter

I have been testing out apps like this to see which I prefer The auto scroll function in other apps scrolled either too fast or too slow I couldnt find the just right pace so I was more focused on trying to beat the scroll instead of playing the music which brought on stupid mistakes from the lack of proper focus The page turn features in other apps were ok but I wasnt completely satisfied and then I find this one today This is the best Ive tried Even if I have to stop and replay a measure a few times it still kept up with me and turned the pages flawlessly I highly recommend this                 The best so far

Just like others are saying resizing and orienting the music would be so helpful Also the ability to manually adjust the flips a little after doing the learning It stinks to have to play a 7 page piece of music all over again because one page flip was a little late Its hard on piano to play flip hence the need for this to begin with I hope this ap has not been abandoned as it is so useful                 Great ap a few adds would make it so much better

When adding files there should be folders for composers so you dont have to write each composer manually Needs playlists Shows potential for song recognition Demos work well           Crashes when editing composer

I should have looked more closely this hasnt been updated in years no way to contact developerIll have to wait for charge to come through and through contact iTunes Storewaste of money     No support

This is an amazing application It worked perfectly the first time I used it and every time since The description says its optimized for solo keyboard but it also worked perfectly with my piano part of a Fritz Kreisler duet with my wife playing violin Ive been playing piano for 50 years and writing software as my profession for 30 and I must say that this is a musiciangeeks dream come true You might not think youd like having a robot turn your pages but when both hands are busy and the robot turns the page at exactly the right time after only being shown once its a very warm and fuzzy experience I have four other iPad sheet music apps and a bluetooth page turner pedal and I dont expect to use any of them again It is very easy to import music pdfs and very easy to tell the app where you want the page turns to happen I even made several mistakes when playing one of the included pieces and the automatic page turns were still flawless Excellent piece of work                 Completely there

I love this app It is very versatile I can play a song on a piano and it will still turn pages for other instruments Some things I would like to see1 Let me create playlists That way when I am playing a concert or something so I can access it faster 2 Bring back where I can resize my own music Sometimes its too big to where notes are cut off and other times its too small 3 Make accommodations for landscape music                 Great App

This app has so much potential The auto turning works fantastically However before it can be truly useable it needs a couple of things 1 Support for longer songs when I was trying to have it auto turn for a 7 min song it just ended at about 5 12 min 2 Ability to edit the trained music without having to play through the entire song Maybe a page by page editor And also the ability to customize the saved pages ex have it turn a measure before 3 Support for landscape mode with automatic scrolling similar to the auto turning so that the music is bigger So that when playing the music will auto scroll and then auto flip With the addition of these things I think this app could be a best seller for musicians It has so much potential PLEASE UPDATE              Almost there

I wrote the review below several months ago I still like the app very much but I have discovered an issue the app is very sensitive to the acoustic environment That means that the presence of noise will throw it off and it also means that a different environment can throw it off That includes for example a room significantly different in acoustics than the room in which the training took place For example you trained it in your piano room at home and youre trying to use it in a significantly larger room like a recital hall it may not work Ive even discovered that the app can be fussy about the piano I tried to use it in a room not too different from the room in which I trained it but with a different piano and it did not work Bottom line it works great for the piano and room in which it was trained but may not work on another piano andor in another room The rest of this review is what I wrote previously I totally agree with the general sentiment expressed by other reviewers I had tried a bunch of different pageturning apps some pretty good some not so good but none good enough I was becoming resigned to having to purchase a bluetooth pedal like around 100 which I was told would do the job well with several of the apps I tried But then I found autoflip It is absolutely terrific in its ability to turn the pages EXACTLY where I did when I trained it It works perfectly well with every song I trained it on even when I play at a tempo considerably different from the tempo at which I trained it I think it is absolutely terrific as a pageturning app It IS lacking in its organizational abilities All of your songs are on one list which you can alphabetize by composer or by title As far as I have discovered there is no capability to organize music into different collections and that can become unwieldy when youve trained it on lots of songs Hopefully this is an area the developers will pursue in further releases                 A Great PageTurning App for Pianists

Worked flawlessly for me from the first try forward I need to demonstrate my compositions from time to time and fluffed pageturns can really break the presentation With autoflip I can carry tons of music on my iPad and play any of it for anyone without fumbling or stopping to coach an amateur pageturner                 A major problemsolver
