Terrible app Requires repeated downloads in order to download older talks from the website The support isnt much better as they promise to get back to you but never do     Physician

This app is terrible Playback of the Audio content is not reliable You have to keep deleting and redownload the content Dont buy audiodigest if you intend to use this app     Worthless app

If you are using this app you probably already paid for audio Digest Unfortunately this app is extremely difficult to use The single worst part of it is to download the downloaded I had to download Them every time I wanted to use them If that could be fixed the app with the much more usable Another quad too You have to select the lectures online cannot do it through the app You have to take the pretest before you lecture which is not bad but it does make it so that you can start something new while you are driving Finally all the content from lectures from conferences that were clearly audiovisual Unfortunately as the name implies this is only audio Digest there are no visuals Since this at RDD use my iPhone as visual capacity it would be great if we could please select this visuals     Frustrating to use

I think they can do better job with the app Im using it on iPhone 4s and it stopped working        Bad quality app

Logged in take tests etc then hit submit and then it tells me we had trouble submitting your information I paid good money for this and expect a value in return which I have not seen Also logging into the website is awful Many times it just reloads the main page Starting to believe I was taken They need to seriously upgrade there app        Submit problem

Now in the digital era if you cant keep up youre going to get left behind I agree this app is more like a work in progress Please fix and make more user friendly and with more functionality to keep your subscriber base happy Should be able to navigate easier renew subscription view CME history and much more in a 2014 iOS app Go to a local university and give a computer programmer a summer project        Hopefully not too late

This app works great on iPhone 5c I can not see it on iPad 3 anymore Not sure if it is optimized for newer devices now and not older ones When I go to App Store it is lighter so I cant activate or get it on my iPad 3           Good iPhone not iPad 3

This app tells me my long standing user name and password are invalid even though they work if I go into the web site via Google Bug in the app I guess so I cant use it     Wouldnt log me in

Had the same problem with previous versions on my iPhone Worked for a while then would not download any further programs Reinstalling didnt help Got the app for my iPad Only worked for three programs Now wont even populate with my available programs Will be calling customer service They better have a fix     Worked for only three downloads

This app is a joke They sucker you in with an ipad with your subscription but have obviously put very little effort in developing the app Will make sure to spread the word to not waste your money     Horrible

Only way to sync new content is to delete and reinstall app 32515 update app still continues to require deletion and reinstallation to update new content Completed modules still occasionally show up as incomplete        Does not update with new content

Honestly I dont know why this app is so bad AudioDigest provides a great service in offering convenient CME Just not on your phone Hate that you cant see the yeartodate credit history Hate that you cant see what courses youve done already Hate that you cant tell which courses are already begun Hate that you cant do anything unless youre in WiFi mode Hoping for improvements soon     MD

The app wont accept my login Gives the error password missing Able to login to the website with my PC easily Tech support was unable to resolve the issue after two calls Will delete     Unusable

I absolutely love listening to Audio Digest when Im traveling between clinic sites However on two occasions now when I switch to a new lecture it wont play Has anybody else had this problem I havent paid attention to why this may happen but I did Paul is in the middle of a lecture several times prior to this last crash I am trying to correct this by deleting the app and then redownloading However this is a pain since I need to download all the lectures that I like to have available I hope they can work this problem out I really value the lectures on my commute daily              Love this most of the time

I have been using the apt for three issues No problems or bugs I dont know why so many others have had terrible experiences but I have not                 Very good expirence

Recently upgraded phone Older programs will not play audio portion because control panel shows pause icon which wont come off if tapped and in upper right hand corner the headphone icon is displayed If I download a never heard program there is no problem Has to be the AD website In the past has been a disaster Some improvement with updates but needs more Love the programs but accessibility with new technology        Web version

They fail to tell you that the Platinum membership does not play on the app but only online streaming Two grand for a downgrade The absence of speed control makes the lectures droning and impossible to listen to more than once Navigation in the lecture is nonexistent Very disappointed     WATCH OUT for Platinum

This is the worst app on my phone If fact its often not on my phone because every couple days I have to delete the app and redownload it They want me to pay 2000 for the platinum version but when the 500 version doesnt even have basic functionality Im not inclined to pay more        Broken

The idea of being off line on a plane and using your ipad to take a pretest then take a posttest while listening to an audio medical lecture is really great Its especially handy to be able to play the audio at 125 or up to 15 times normal speed to cut down listening time Ive paid about 2000 for two years of nearly unlimited access to all the content on Audio Digest But I just found out that for months and months most all of my cme activity has not been uploaded to the web site to give me credit for all my listening and test taking I see some of these missing tests still waiting in queue to be uploaded but they wont upload Tech support told me today that those will not upload even in the soon to be released updated app version and that Ill need to retake those tests You might imagine how that went over with me a busy doctor Fortunately I discovered that all my pre and post tests were still accessible on my ipad which they wouldnt have been if I had deleted and reinstalled the app as they suggested I could dosomething I did before and lamented doing as all data was lost with my answers intact So today I spent a couple hours manually copying all my test answers onto the audio digest web site directly What a waste of time There are several other issues as well Some lectures dont download The pretests on three of the most recent Internal medicine lectures have no questions only zeros show You can never erase old lectures youve downloaded and finished listening to I called them months ago and told a technician that I had a list of items I wanted to tell the programmer needed fixing and I asked for some senior tech to call me about that list No call came back For 2000 I expect some top notch app and tech support They advertise this all over medical web sites Its a crime that they havent worked out these many issues after such a long time They have said repeatedly that all issues will be fixed in the new app version due out this or next week I heard that today and a couple months ago too Such a potentially good service Such poor programmers and unresponsive tech support Wake up Audio Digest Youre shooting yourself in the foot        Lots of glitches

Overall very pleased with the app However I seem to recall that all of the audio and writeups for the lectures stayed on the device iPad once downloaded with a previous version The complimentary special topics issues also were available However when I updated the app dont recall starting with which version the ST lectures were gone and Ive had to redownload everything in my subscription It also seems I have to stay connected via wifi to be able to even listen to the lectures user error              Seems to require wifi connection

I have subscribed to AudioDigest in my specialty psychiatry for over 20 years on cassettes then CDs The app is handybut 1 not infrequently AD puts out a defective audio file that crashes the app The only solution is to download the audio file to my phone 2 The most basic audio apps remember the place This lousy app wont In fact often I can open up the app minute timer is in the right place but then it crashes back to the main section I then have to go back to the audio file and struggle to move the cursor to the right minute As soon as I let go it jumps back or forth so I have to hear material Ive already heard I have repeatedly commented to AudioDigest and am informed that the new app will be released any day Thats a story Ive been hearing for over two years     Good service lousy app

I agree with most other reviewers This app is bare bones and is not really up to par It crashes easily and I frequently have trouble getting it to upload my credits        Needs work

This app is ok not great when it is working Unfortunately it freezes up frequently and is useless when it does I have tried signing out and back in reloading the app and reporting the problem to customer service to no avail My problem is the same one described by Gehrkster        Freezes up frequently

This app seemed to work great until a couple of months ago Since I cant get programs to play on iPod Several emails from tech support say that there is nothing wrong it still doesnt work Wont renew because of this issue     Not great

I have had to speak with or email the folks at Audiodigest before I can download the latest months lecture even though I have a standing subscription If not corrected I plan to cancel my subscription     Sadly could do so much more

Audio Digest Anesthesiology itself is wonderful Their website is very good This app is terrible It is poorly laid out The completed programs should be under one tab and the new programs under another Your credit history should be easy to access The worst part is that you cant stream the audio You have to wait for these huge files to download before you can listen and you waste memory on your phone or iPad If Audio Digest is going to push the free iPad deal to get you to sign up for 3 years not really free then they should at least get the app right BTW The price you pay for the free iPad deal is exactly the 500 more then their price discount offer     Terrible

UPDATE April 2014 Nothing has been done to update or fix this app 6 months later I am tired of struggling with this broken program Here is my message to Audio Digest This app is BROKEN and is damaging your companys reputation You need to fix it If your current development team cannot fix it you need to find someone who can I have been a subscriber for 4 years My current All Access subscription runs through October If the app isnt fixed by then I will not renew my subscription or purchase any more of your products Original review October 2013 This version is just AWFUL Recent versions were nice but no this one Programs are on my account on 7 separate pages and it takes 2030 seconds to go from one page to the next Bigger problem my page one has several programs but pages 2 and 3 have no programs There are a couple of programs on page 4 To go from page 1 to page 4 means 30 seconds going to page 2 then 30 seconds to go to page 3 then 30 seconds more to finally get to page 4 Madness As frustrating is the fact that programs disappear at random and dont reappear unless you force the app to quit and restart Makes me sad I just dropped 1K on the all access program Its too much of a chore I use this program PLEASE FIX THIS     About to give up on AudioDigest

The CME lectures are a very good product However This app is simply atrocious It has not worked for years with all iPad versions iPad one iPad retina iPad mini and now even with an iPad Air It crashes downloading PDFs hang very slow to sync if it ever does The only reason to use this app is for the CMEand this app is so frustrating to use that I am not renewing my 3 year subscription     I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars

Love Audio digest content and idea but I continue to have trouble on my ipod playing audio on programs not returning to the spot where I left off I have deleted and reinstalled app several times in order to get audio to play Frustrating        Good idea Poor app

The idea is good but the app has some flaws For example if you delete the downloaded topic after it has been completed then it does not show as completed when the completed tab is pressed It does not tabulate the total CMEs and you need to go back to the web site log in and find out there I am not sure why the app does not respond to touch at times The courses themselves are very good as always My only complaint is that I cannot adjust audio on my iPad and some of the women speakers have an earpiercing pitch Maybe they could take some radio voice lessons        iPad App

I downloaded my lectures and can do the pretest but the audio wont play From reading others comments my guess is that Ill have to redownload them to listen on my iOS device That is not good for the amount of money charged for this service I might just have to download manually on my computer and install the audio via iTunes     Audio wont play

Audio digest programs are excellent The app is not The program list is not user friendly You cannot sort by your downloaded programs or a list of completed programs Listening to a program is frustrating because it does not remember your place if you exit the app midprogram Trying to scroll back is very challenging on an iPhone You should be able to search for new programs to download but this has to be done on the website The my account and cme tabs are essentially useless There is much room for improvement     No good features

This app simply has a lot of problems and technical support reps cannot troubleshoot them I was not able to even open the audio file as it crashes upon opening     Dysfunctional app weak support

I like the app greatly It would be nice if you can highlight the text and see the summary at one place so that you can go back and review the highlighted text              Great app to review medicine

I have subscribed to AudioDigest for over 10 years AudioDigest provides one of my favorite ways to keep up to date in field and earn CMEs However this iPhoneiPad app has lots of room for improvement My guess is that a fair amount of AD subscribers listen to lectures while driving This app should attempt to make listening to lectures while driving an easier experience The PlayPause 30sec replay and lecture speed buttons should be bigger and separated by a longer distance The replay button should either be configurable or have more options than the 30seconds now available If I missed a word I dont want to be forced to replay the last 30 seconds Also there should be an option to listen to a lecture without first completing the pretest It not very safe to complete the pretest while driving just to be able to listen to the lecture The app does not currently remember the pause point of the lecture When you restart the app the lecture plays from the beginning The app should also ideally be able mark completed lectures as such           Works just OK Lots of room for improvement

I have used AD lectures on CD for years and thought that my phone would be more convenient Alas more headache than its worth Cant download and have the content stay for future listening cannot tell which programs have already been started or completed and cannot even download without the app freezing up Reinstalling it helped for a day Im going back to CDs until they do lots of work on this app     Worthless app

This app has great potential but sadly still is not up to par with the quality of the lectures and upgrades seem deathly slow My wish list screen rotation on all pages App should remember and open back to exactly the lecture and location one last left off it is very annoying to hunt this down again each time the app is closed easy onscreen access to CME totals addition of completed lectures to menu choices for review purposes highlight and note taking ability onwithin written folio The lack of attention to this program after investing so much money in AD is sad frustrating and embarrassing This app is so close to being great Please upgrade        Could be great
