I don t use it as a HUD myself but docked in my dashboard and the information is precise the customization allows for me to get the info I need the way I want it I ve tried many other HUD apps and no one comes close to this                     Best HUD on iOS Drkblde

I have used HUD for over a year now It is really useful to be able to see a digital display in your windshield at night And a positive display in the day time It shows speed compass heading and other info that is useful The speed flashes red when you exceed your current speed a bit even when driving a safe speed If they could connect to the speed limit database for roads like they have on GPS devices it would be very useful otherwise I d suggest it be eliminated I like knowing my true speed and altitude It also shows distance from home if you turned it on at home That s nice Overall I think this is a unique and useful app Keep up the good work Jim from Woodbridge VA                     Heads Up is a great Feature Graham Prix

I got this on my iPhone first and I liked it As a HUD in mirrored mode I actually like the app a lot better on the iPad when I double the size of the display The speed is very accurate The display flashes to warn me when I m speeding The display tells me exactly how far I am from home This app is most useful to the driver from dusk through dawn but a number of passengers have had fun checking it out for a few minutes on trips                     Also works well with iPad Moment65

Wow I ve been wanting to implement a complex HUD into my car for a while now all day lol and this app is certainly an impressive little treat It works excellently at night It s too bad the reflection is doubled because of the dual layers of my windshield a problem that s common to most I believe I m sure there are DIY fixes Few complaints about the app very fun very accurate readings on speed Compass seems to be off and can t figure out why                 Impressive little utility AManofCharacter

A very nice app that executes its feature set very well I do however have one bug that kept me at a 4 star rating For some reason on my iPhone 4 my preferences keep being lost Since I alter pretty much every single one of them this is quite frustrating As iPhone 4 s haven t even been out a week yet I assume this will be fixed in an update Also it d be nice if I could set the home location which is used for a distance and bearing to any place on the map by dropping a pin instead of only at the place I m at This is useful for when I know where I want to go rather than want to get back to where I am later                 Nice app but needs another patch for iPhone 4 PaplooTheLearned

This app is a hidden gem It is worth the cost just for the accuracy of the compass even on the 3G without the built in compass it works flawlessly Yes it is dim but still visible in the daytime but the first time you drive at night with this sitting on your dashboard you ll be blown away I cannot put into words how awesome this app is It deserves to be in the top 10 Notes to the developers the HUD button is hard to hit just right I d like it to start in HUD mode by default                     Amazingly cool Lostzilla

The new map feature is an awesome idea but could use a few tweaks Firstly it would be nice if you didn t have to pinch pull to zoom in as this would be difficult while driving Perhaps an automatic zoom Also it would be nice to have a setting with the map behind the instruments as opposed to a transparent overlay Maybe this could optionally replace the black background                     Still my favorite app but a few suggestions BigRiggBlues

I like the idea of this app Unfortunately on my car the reflection comes off both the front and back surfaces of the windshield and consequently I get a double image which is mostly unreadable I would recommend you open something else on your iPhone and put it on your car dashboard at night to see if you also get a double image before you purchase this         No fault of aSmart HUD but I get double vision knealy

It works well especially at night It also helps to have one of those rubber cell phone grips for the dash if you want the iPhone to stay in place One thing that I found wrong with the app is the 12 hr clock is off by 12 hours It says it s 12 30 am when it s really 12 30 pm That shouldn t be hard to fix for the next version                 A Decent App dfjklafj

I ve had this app awhile and am very happy with it It is soo many apps in one hot little package I use it mainly for sailing sometimes driving or even use the gps to locate my position on a map while horseback riding back country It is very accurate I can plot a course on inavx another great app and use ihud in knotts mode to approximate arrival times to waypoints plotted Night sailing is a lot of fun and easy to read the beautiful display ihud provides So many applications for this and I love the customizing options as well I also appreciate all the frequent updates the developer sends out That truly speaks volumes to the consumer that the developer really cares about us and their product Great job Wick                     Functional eye candy Chadwick, SD, Ca.

Version 1 3 of your software has the heading indicator turning the wrong way When I m driving north in daytime using the non hud display and turn east the entire heading ring and arrow swing to the right or cw When I m going east the numeric display reads 90 degrees but the heading ring reads 270 degrees The snapshots on the apple store are correct but the working software is completely backwards Oops         Great App except for Heading indicator flyboyutah

The speedometer in my truck went out and this app saved me about 599 It is extremely accurate and I haven t had any problem with the satellite link and I drive through some rural areas If you have the need for a speedometer I reccomend this app                     Excellent app Gwadag

I have a nice dock in my car for driving but it s stuck in the portrait position This app only works in landscape mode It would be nice if the user could go between the two             Nice but damntourists
