Most wide lenses will not show on iPad version IE choose standard 35mm choose generic primes 24mm 35mm 50mm 85mm Only 50mm and above will be shown     Good for iPhone not iPad

Using it for more then 2 years Yes therere limits but its a iPhone iPad limits App is great very helpful on preproduction                 Love it

Would be better if you could buy it once and use it on the iPad AND iPhone but thats not an option Why is that           I have to buy it twice

I was very excited to use this app on a commercial I recently shot Once I downloaded it I and began to use it I was pretty disappointed considering the 30 price tag On the plus side it has a good selection of camerasformats and lenses to choose from But depending on your formatlens theres a chance the iPads cameraArtemis wont be able to show you the whole image ie using Epic 4K w 25mm lens and wider Artemis starts to black out the veiwfinder because it cant support the lens size I guess it makes sense but kind of worthless when youre using it as a veiwfinder I wish I had known ahead of time as I might not have bought it It was sort of funny when I showed the director a frame and 23 of it was blacked out because the lens wasnt supported On the long end of the focal length the images become so noisy that they are almost unusable It looks like Artemis uses a digital zoom on the iPads camera but starting at Epic 4K 50mm the images really start to fall apart and get worse the longer you go For 30 I expected there to be plenty of bells and whistles but I dont really feel like there are any extras with this app so I was pretty bummed Also switching between Epic 4K and 2K isnt an easy flick of a button you have to go through all the menus again and reset your lenses which was kind of time consuming Lastly it is nice that you can email the images and it has lens info on it but I wish it would allow you to bundle the images together and send as one email Again it was pretty time consuming to email all the images separately when we were on the location scout        Artemis

The app is pretty basic feature wise Look harder several other apps include a directors viewfinder and much more for less money Also having to buy separate apps for each devise is terrible So many apps are way more technical and are universal For 30 this is a travesty Check out set my camera pro     I have to buy it twice

The lenses and aspect stuff is all great on this but on the iPad it doesnt allow me to export the images in any formatemail to the iPad gallery or PDF So its fine on set but lame for scouting since I cant share the images except on my iPad Not worth the cost with the lack of export     Wont export images
