great app no complaints except that the pronunciation portion drives me insane i pronounce the word like 1000x and it doesnt take or says its wrong and its frustrating my husband is russian and he says my pronunciation was perfect for most of the words and no accent but it keeps not taking and its aggravating bc it can be a useful feature but it should be modified to work better i use another app that is similar and has this feature and i have no problem with itotherwise its a great app small detail that could be fixed with an update              great app annoying speaker

This app helped a lot because I was struggling to learn this language and this made me finally learn how to speak it Also I can talk to my Russian friends and they understand what I am saying which is not what many other programs provide Thank you Babbel                 Very good

Very disappointed their German course is absolutely great unfortunately I cannot say the same for their Russian course I bought subscriptions on both courses and for the Russian language I have to go to the website in orden to get acces to the beginners course which is kind of annoying since Im primarily a mobile user Besides that I dont see too much material to learn from I throught this course would have the same level of quality than their German app I was wrong Id like to cancel my subscription     So disappointed

The lowprice pulled me in but it really is a great product It doesnt feel like work using the app its fun                 Amazing

This is a really great app Kinda sorry I bought Rosetta Stone before checking this out closely but hey I still bought a one year subscription to augment my RS studies When you consider how much it would cost you to take college courses to learn a language the cost of this was NOTHING and I honestly believe that if a person is diligent this method is every bit as effective So thanks Babbel I very much appreciate your part in making my upcoming trip to St Petersburg a success                 Great app

Best app for learning a new language                 Absolutely wonderful

This is a great app that I prefer over Rosetta Stone and its great to use in conjunction with Pimsleur to give you the visuals that are needed to learn the Russian alphabet to put it all together I just wish there was a business Russian half of this program as well                 Great App But I Wish

Ive used Rosetta Stone and had a hard time learning because it assumes youve already learned the alphabet for the language its teaching Other free apps do not compare for those which actually have Russian This app gives a little of everything as you go introducing new letters and words progressively so you can hang it off of the understanding you already have with English with reviews along the way Just make sure you really understand what is covered in the review before moving on otherwise you will struggle as the next lessons really dive in and assume proficiency on previously covered material I suggest you use inears with a built mic The tiny speaker cant properly convey the dictation without low end frequency response              Engaging

I have been wanting to learn a new language for a long time now ever since I stopped taking a world language class in high school Now that I graduated and I have a lot of spare time I can learn Russian finally                 Amazing

Yes you have to pay but you get to try the first lesson for free I picked 3 months for 1999 theres another option for 1 month for 999 and 12 months for around 60 But trust me youll get hooked right away There are lots of different methods this uses such as spelling with the keyboard using the foreign letters very cool using the mic and pronouncing sometimes doesnt work but you can skip it filling in the blank etc and there is also a dictionary of words youve learned so far so you can review Only problem is that the mic kind of works 60 of the time would be cool if they put the english pronounciation like ahsahhee or something              Great App

I payed for half a year with the app and it crashes when it asks for a review after a few days           Crashes

Ive used a lot of different language learning programs including the very expensive Rosetta Stone And Babbel is one of my favorite recommendations Its a lot more fun and natural learning than traditional wrote memorisation Highly recommend                 Love Babbel
