I use this lighting fast device with my iPad during trips to several countries in Africa Europe and Asia it works as advertised However the ALCATEL Y900 ONETOUCH WiFi software LINK APP should be upgraded to enable Pay As You Go users cellular data subscribers to send short codes to the cellular data provider telco and receive text responses on the users device iPad etc for feedback on remaining data balances upload scratch card number for minute data recharge refills etc this suggestion will go a very long way to increase sales and patronage of the device On writing my review I must emphasize that Pay As You Go cellular data users subscribers always have to physically open the device remove SIM card and insert SIM into a handset in order to send short codes users cellular data carrier telco for the purpose of obtaining feedback for the remaining data available upload scratch card numbers etc and that is a sure downside to this device If or when ALCATEL subscribes to my suggested LINK APP upgrade and use of an extended battery will certainly leave competing MiFi in the dust Cellular data carriers in Africa Europe the Middle East and Asian countries might at the point of the LINK APP upgrade purchase and rebrand the ALCATEL Y900 ONETOUCH MiFi as their preferred MiFi for their customers consequently sales of the ALCATEL Y900 ONETOUCH MiFi should improve tremendously                 The Downside for Pay As You Go Users Laaasu
