AirWeb - Web Browser for Apple TV

Works perfectly as described Lets me use my TV as a giant computer monitor and my iPhone as a giant touchpad to control it Its nice to be able to have an onscreen cursor especially for presentations so that I can show people what Im doing The swipe gestures and external keyboard are a nice touch as well Plus tabs and highlighting Great app                 Use my iPhone like a mouse and TV for the screen

The app works pretty well but it doesnt use the desktop version of the site and it doesnt fill the entire tv screen Will get the job done but almost better off mirroring safari           Could Be Better

This is a nice app that does exactly as it says it allows you to browse the web on your AppleTV It uses AirPlay to push the apps interface onto your AppleTV to allow you to surf the web on your TV It has a nice clean and clear browser and it turns your iDevice into a nice trackpad where you can click two finger scroll and pinch to zoom The main point though is this functionality is already in AirPlay mirroring This app uses AirPlay in order for you to push the apps interface onto your AppleTV This is already possible with AirPlay mirroring and just launching Safari By using Safari you can click scroll and zoom from your iPhone or iPad Overall I would say this app does exactly what it says but its really not necessary since you already have AirPlay mirroring I dont feel bad that I paid the 099 for it because it does feel nice and slick and it has a nice interface Using my iDevice as a trackpad seems cool However those who are thinking of this app can save that 099 for other apps since the functionality of browsing the web on your AppleTV is already possible with AirPlay mirroing           Nice app but functionality is already in AirPlay

Wish Apple had made something like this when the Apple TVs first came out No problems so far and does everything I want                 Excellent App

I have the Apple TV 2nd generation and it works just as advertised Been waiting for this for a long time Ive tried it with my iPhone 5s and iPad 3 Worth the money to me                 Works great

this is great to use your AppleTV to browse without the weird letter boxing and scaling youd get if you just mirrored Safari from your iPad Just make sure you disable overscanning on both your set and the AppleTV for crisp 11 pixels                 just like it says on the tin

While this app is aesthetically pleasing and functions great on my Apple TV 3 and gives me features that I have been axing for for years it also lacks functionality For example on my ATV2 I can stream movies and tv shows from XBMC through primewireag while this app can get you to the websites you use for streaming none of the videos will play I hope in the future the developer can add flash player support as seen in the puffin web browser app              Genuis app

I want to give this a higher rating but it just isnt there yet When it works it does pretty well On the other hand I make it constantly crash just simply by entering my zip code on websites A real bummer Also Ive come across websites that constantly keep refreshing and you cant click on anything I also keep getting on screen tipsI know them already thanks I ended up just using safari with AirPlay Question why does the app open to set up Every Single Time If these bugs get worked out I hope they do Ill feel like it was 2 well spent As it sits now its not sorry A crashing app is unusable and therefore worth 0        Almost

This app is incredible It makes me say Wow every time Its gorgeously designed and works flawlessly Its so easy and intuitive to set up and use I cant explain how cool this app is More people need to know about this Apple should hire you to build this directly into Safari when AirPlay mirroring is enabled no joke                 Absolutely amazing

Bought this app to make web video viewing easier but many major sites like YouTube and BBC iplayer dont work properly Looked at the app help forums and there are several similar complaints streching back over a year so this seems to be a bug the developer cant resolve     Web video not working

This is the app Ive been wanting since I got my first iPhone and my AppleTV Thank you Works perfectly                 My favorite app is now even better

I tried every which way to get this to workit would not transfer to my Apple TV I deleted the app and it now resides in the cloud     Waste of money

I used this app on my iphone and it works well I tried this on my iPad and its glitchy random screen rotation while the iPad was laying down unmoved Click sound is great for feed back but several times on different sites it didnt work while I tried many times to select something even on AirWebs home page the same thing happened A few times the arrow or mouse like feature lagged as if it was a dead battery controlling the the arrow on the screen And the thing that kills this for me is on the iPad it doesnt do video Youre greeted with a fully grey screen with a large play button and a play bar No video        Back to the drawing board

I can do all I want with safari without paying for this useless app It is merely mirroring with mousekeyboard on your iOS device I want a true web browser on my Apple TV so my iPad is free to use Waste of money     Not a browser for Apple TV

The vertical scroll does exactly opposite of what I expect it to Its frustrating It reminds me of Apples natural trackpad scroll direction control from OS X which fortunately can be disabled AirWeb needs that same checkbox           Missing vertical scroll setting

this app offers nothing different than safari or chrome when you use your iphone in landscape mode they also does the same thing dont waste your money     useless

Great app Just a few suggestions A one finger pagescrolling option would be awesome and a landscape keyboard typing option would be great as well Other than that this thing is great                 Great App

To the person that said that this app is the same as Safari using Airplay mirroring There is one difference you have a trackpad with a cursor so you do not have to keep looking down at your idevice to move around and make selections and the cursor can also be used as a pointer              A Comment About A Comment

I got this on a whim after reading an article on some tech website I got the browser to show up on my TV via AppleTV Cool right I even used two fingers to scroll all over the place the problem is that you cant click on any links I went to google typed in a search phrase and moved the cursor over the search button and tapped my iPad screen No dice Clicking just doesnt work when tapping my screen If I could get a refund I would try to get my money back and then try it again once they got all the kinks worked out Devs I hope you read this and fix the issue iPad Air on 3rd gen AppleTV FIX IT     Cool Idea But It Doesnt Work
