Agility iMap is the ultimate course designer for dog agility on the iPad. Feel the freedom to design a course with your fingers No longer tied down to a desk. Whenever inspiration strikes iMap is ...
It would be great if you can take course map picture from Photos on I pad and create map They have false advertisement when you create camera and photos come up Photos do not com up Dont email him questions because he does not respond I tried 4 times Eric is not user friendly                 I map
Im testing it out and theres already some features Id like to see Judges are starting to use different length sets of weave poles so Id like to be able to specify the number of poles I was recently at a trial where they used 10 rather than 12 poles And the judge this past weekend said a judge he knew just did a course with 9 poles rather than 12 Problem one really minor On my screen when the default map came up that was just 30x40 or something like that the buttons were overlaying each other New was actually under Clone There was room for it not to be like that though And when I went to a 90x120 course then the buttons spaced out and were fine Problem two I cant manage to place just one number I tap and it places two numbers one right on top of the other This is probably me though I probably need to get used to the touch interface Problem three there doesnt seem to be any way to ask questions If you go to the Support page theres no email address or way to post a question so thats a negative in my book Problem four and Im sure this can be easily fixed the virtual screen size when in landscape and portrait When youre in portrait the course map ends above the buttons but if you turn to landscape the screen ends at the bottom of the physical screen which puts part of the map underneath the buttons You cant scroll so youre forced to go to portrait to place obstacles on this part of the map There doesnt seem to be the ability to place path arrows I love to reproduce courses and put the path that I took in one color and the path the dog took in another Something for a future release Its great though Having a lot of fun with it              Initial impression is a good one
I am trying out iMap and iLog to try to get rid of some of my paper and record what I did in my runs So far it is fun I will pass on a few suggestions to the developer Hopefully he can work them in As I play more I will update the review I have combined this with a PDF annotation app              Neat
This is a great app that will only get better as the author develops it further Very intuitive to use The ability to email the course is very nice I find the iPad version to be a lot easier to use The iPhone just has too small of a screen to make course design easybut maybe that is just me and my fat fingers and older eyes Eric has promised an update soon that will bring obstacles in for NADAC hoopsyes they are silly but they are what they are a part of that venue so we need to be able to design with them along with other improvements for other venues and some bug fixes For now I just use jumps to denote where hoops are and use the numbering tool to put a different marker by them I plan to also use this to take notes at Agility class and trials with combinations and situations that are causing my dogs and I trouble so I can set them up at home and work on them              Great Appwith room to improve
