I have become very disappointed with this app As a weather nut I love to see what it going on with the weather in a timely fashion I use to be able to check my station whenever I wanted to but lately I get no data despite have good signal strength no battery issues ETC I have deleted an reinstalled the app several times and still no luck At least the weather station is awesome     It was good

Total piece of crap When it does actually give me info it is is from a sensor in a different part of the country Useless     Dont Waste Your Time On This Worthless App

This app is horrid it doesnt work properly and I cannot suggest anyone use it     Horrible app

Cant get back to the dashboard Doesnt refresh without logging outin But after that BS it does tell me what my sensor says Except the rain gage needs calibration     Its an app but pretty crap

Upon opening for the first time my data loads just fine But when you open it throughout the day it wont auto refresh Lame        Wont refresh

This app needs a lot more attention to bring it out of it works and into the helm of it rocks It feels like as soon as they had some basic functionality down they called it good Needs auto refresh better alert system and air pressure on main landscape page Also can you get rid of the refresh button in the middle of the graphs Those items would get it to four stars For five stars we need better graphing and reporting over a longer time and frankly a more attractive interface Id love to have this just running all day in landscape mode on my desk and have it look professional instead of like a TeleTubbies screen shot        Basic functionality

Seems stable since May 2015 Acurite still doesnt deserve any respect in the app department        Acurite took 2 years but maybe fixed it

My data does sync from my gauge so thats a plus but thats really it I use another app MyPrecip to record my data in a much cleaner fashion        Need a complete overhaul

The packaging on theAcuRite Pro Weather Center does not mention Windows NET OS service required to connect to hardware internet bridge This app wont log me into my new account App needs to open for info and to seek the nearest weather station device by MAC address for setup even if it cannot access my account The app needs a Help link when this and other problems come up So far not impressed Calling help desk on promised Sunday hours Maybe that experience will up the rating here     Mac Folks Do Not Buy AcuRite

I have had the app for about a month Seems to work as advertised I can only remember on 1 occasion when it wouldnt connect I seem to be constantly checking both my sensors for my house I have 1 sensor outside and 1 sensor in my crawl space I love the app and the fact that I can add more sensors if I need too                 Works just fine

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews I have a Mac so I could not use the PC Software and I had to purchase the Accurite Bridge to get my data on the web or Acculink and Wunderground servers With that said I never have any connectivity issues between the 5 in1 and the color console or the bridge I use the iPhone App the most but sometimes use the web interface to Acculink and I view my station data via Wunderground What I would like to suggest is a 7 day average on the iPhone App Currently there is a Weeks Total The week starts on Sunday at Midnight so if it rained on Saturday and I check Sunday the Weeks Total is zero I really care more about the last seven days I have also seen issues where the 24 hour total rainfall is less than the current rainfall It seems as if the current data should be included A specific example is that the current rainfall is 097 while the 12 and 24 hour total is 065 I dont like this logic I do like the way a current rainfall can bridge the midnight boundary Wunderground has a daily cutoff at midnight which I dont like either I could rain 2 inches from 1130PM to 1205AM And at 1210 the daily rainfall at Wunderground would read something minimal like 01 inches If all of this were configurable to individual preferences I would be very happy Also if the Color Console included the Bridge function I could save 80 Or if there was software that would run on a Mac that would be nice too              I am satisfied

When it works it is OK In trying to use or enable alerts and alarms settings are not saved giving the warning No alerts without recipients while both email and SMS fields are populated correctly Yes it was free Sigh        Free Software and it shows

If you have an accurite 5in1 weather center with the software that uploads your data to accurites website skip the version they give you and get the better version straight from the developer The software is called VIS reader and you can find it for free on Valley Info Syss website From there you can upload to multiple weather aggregators like weather underground and use their far superior apps also on the apps store here instead of this basic one If this app was better I wouldnt have gone looking But since it has a poor UI that scales up poorly on my phone I looked and found much better        Better alternatives available

Badly designed inference and it ALWAYS displays rain for the forecast while my weather station monitor displays the correct forecast Please update Update I connected my weather station with Weather Underground and downloaded their app It works a lot better and the app is better designed than this app     Needs a major update

I purchased this weather system so that I can remotely monitor the weather and indoor temp at our vacation home We have had this for four months now and the remote access repeatedly fails The iPhone app is totally useless The rain and other data does not persist The app design is rudimentary and hasnt been updated or fixed in years Dont waste your money like I did     Garbage Dont waste your money

This app has always worked well for me iPhone iPad Yes the forecast isnt that accurate but it can be adjusted some to compensate if its off The forecast isnt coming from the NWS its just data from your station it cant be that accurate all the time Please add dew point to the iPhone app otherwise great I use it every day                 Nice App

The iPhone version needs work It has not been updated to iOS8 standards In particular it used to be that if one rotated the phone horizontally ALL of the parameters would be visible In the vertical mode only one parameter eg Temperature is shown but in detail Please update           Needs work

Shows rain constantly with going from a low of 98 to a high of 99 regardless of the actual weather Other than that the system works great        Forecast in app broken

Update just found out that my wifes iphone 6 is also displaying 25 degrees Come on Acurite lets get an update out for the new iOS Dont know what to think was working on iphone 6 and ipad mini now only works on ipad mini Suddenly started giving negative number data on iphone 6 this morning 9115 Its Sept 1 and its saying its 25 degrees outside I live in southcentral PA        I still think we need a good update

More than half the time this app doesnt work     Doesnt connect to server

After reading other reviews Im not sure if I ended up with a fluke or what but my experience has been amazing with both the weather station and the app Im the Facilities Manager of a fairly large campus in Phoenix and need to be able to have uptodate weather data instantaneously so I can maintain our systems for optimum performance Im also a former Air Force Weather Specialist and I love knowing every nuance of current weather This unit delivers for me on both counts It not only gives me current temp humidity wind rainfall and barometric pressure but it also shows the trending of each of these for the last 12 hours And the reports tab will show highs and lows for the last week month and alltime Install was simple and straight forward although I replaced the plastic mounting pole with a 34 steel pipe We get pretty big monsoon wind storms here and I was worried about the plastic cracking or breaking over time I have had the unit for 5 days and have no connection issues at all Im at home on the app and I can see every bit of the information I want to see A couple of times it has taken about 30 seconds to connect but its not a big deal to me Now I did spend the extra money for the aculink unit and that may be the difference for me If so it is well worth the investment                 Great Weather Station and Great App

As a new user with less than 24 hours of actual experience using it Im impressed so far Very easy to set up loads quickly and so far IT JUST WORKS I dont think that the Bridge should be counted as one the monitored devices since its required for remote access It along with 4 sensors rather than just 3 as currently mandated would provide more value to the Acurite customer At any rate Im happy with it so far              WORKS QUITE WELL SO FAR

Had station for about 8 months and backyard weather always goes to server with no issues Forecast weather is worse than the tv weatherman Has Been completely sunny here with highs in the 70s for the last four days Forecast weather has predicted rain 9899 every day with highs in the 40s Two day there was no rain in the entire state and its a big state              Home user 321

What a pos This app was sort of working fine on my I phone after a very long time trying to connect The forecast always showed rain 99 chance and never changed I recently logged out and when I tried logging back in I get a window that pops up unable to log in Method not allowed Huh I can no longer log in Basically this app is useless now What a POS     Pos

This app is horrible and has been for many many months This is beyond irresponsible I wouldnt buy any more of there products as I wonder if they are going out of business Sheesh so sad     What is Wrong With Company

Only about 30 of the time can the app connect to the server When it does connect 90 of the time in the back ground it says Contacting server with the pin wheel that wont go away It would also be nice that when it does connect it should give you the latest data and time line We should not have to hit the refresh button to get current data every time that we change from one measurement of data to the other        Seems like its still Beta

I feel like a rebate is in order for all your customers Yes the app is free but the weather station was pretty expensive and one of the main features is supposedly this app Constant connection problems the app keeps deleting my profile so I have to enter in all my station info every few days The alert system only works for the temperature all other sensors tell me that my settings cannot be saved due to no recipient I could go on and on but everything has been well covered by the other negative reviews Btw youre not fooling anyone by having your employees give this app 4 and 5 star ratings any real customer who has actually used this app will tell you its beyond awful Besides the station itself all your software is crap Oh but I guess thats on purpose isnt it because they want us to buy the 70 software to actually be able to get what we paid for out of the system total bait and switch But like other reviewers said before me what can you expect these days     Crap software

No updates in over a year This app has a horrible UI Very difficult to find the weather data you needwant I am guessing the developer has given up any work on this app If I didnt receive my weather station as a gift it would be going back I may try to return it anyway Get a much needed app update pushed out ASAP     Piece of Junk Needs Update Badly

This app worked great with iPhone iOS 841 I upgraded to ios9 and the dashboard stopped working When you flip iphone the app disappears and the dashboard does not work     Not working with IOS 90

I read the reviews and downloaded it anyway It needs Auto Refresh so you dont have to refresh every thing each time you open it Also the graphics could be better Plus it says share online Is it me or where is it to share Mine was working ok but now it just says updatingfor a day It is still updating The sensor outside works great but this app needs work           Needs work

No I did not pay for the software specifically but it was a big reason why I bought the Acurite weather station They advertised boldly in their ads and on the colofon box you could access your data through their app Guess thats basically true but the app looks like it was put together by a high schooler with severe ADD Basic functionality that does not even work right all the time inconsistent layout basic UI problems I could keep going on and on Its not that hard Acurite You get a stream of data and present it logically with a halfway decent UI Do that and your sales go up because the station itself is pretty good The same complaint goes for the desktop software Piece of crp There must be something better out there or maybe Ill just need to take up iPhone programming Bottom line I feel Im the victim of bait and switch     Did I pay for THiS

I have had a horrible experience trying to sync my iPhone 5S with OS 71 I followed all the forum and provided instructions and it still does not work Do not buy this system     Cannot connect on line does not recognize Bridge Number

I have had this since Dec 2014 now July 2015 and it has been though the coldest temperature and now the hottest temps we have had in years It is linked to my outside weather station I am not an employee nor do I know anyone that works for AccuRite Just a customer with an interest in the weather I dont understand all the comments about the poor nature of the APP what the heck do you want It gives the temperature Humidity Rainfall Wind speed and direction Barometric Pressure and Dew Point It is not a game Simply a list of what you want to know I dont know about the computer software they have I have a MacBook and their software does not work for that But I understand that and accept it Dont need that any how All the data is online and I can get to it though any web browser even on my Mac I am smart enough to understand the forecast is simply based on the movement of the Barometric Pressure And that is only one factor in any forecast and only good for a few hours If you want a forecast there are plenty of weather apps for that                 Works for me

I bought the up date acurite weather pro station Down loaded the app and first thing the address I enter for my location and different location up Cant sync it Needs a lot of help        Piece of junk until

Temporarily connected through laptop but syncs fine however coming out of sleep mode requires disconnect and reconnect of USB cable and closing and opening the PC AcuLink program The weather forecast has never been accurate its been connected for 18 days The data at times has been inaccurate The display showed a high temp of 107 but the app showed 113 Same issue with rain data Hopefully future updates will fix these issues 22 May 2015 update Nothing has gotten better since last review I now think they have abandoned this app no updates Could they be applying their energy to a new app Will older systems be compatible Upsetting to say the least        Needs work

Despite all the negative reviews this app works great for me Displays both my 5 in 1 and the tower sensor in my basement Aculink bridge has never had a problem either                 Great for me

Well I have to say that Im extremely disappointed I should have read the reviews before purchasing the system from Costco Im not to sure what to think of Chaney Instruments and Accurite I thought they were leaders in Weather Station hardware and software From what I understand now they have nothing that runs on OS X Come here and see this All I can say is time to return Such a shame Nothing but complaints here Oh well Maybe next time     No Update in over a year

The UI was basic and low res but at least it worked now it takes a miracle to get it to connect to the network and display any data I even bought a weather station for my parents because it was easy to use Now its just crap and I have no answers for them I think everyone bought into the internet bridge thinking theyd get a functioning product and here we are without any acurite support Disappointing customer support Also the forecast function is a joke I live in a desert state and it predicts precipitation EVERY SINGLE DAY without variation Ive adjusted the humidity and done everything possible but its a complete gimmick UPDATE connection has now been restored so I can get my weather station data so Im upping my rating but they still need to update the app so it doesnt look so archaic           Its sad they stopped updating this app

One can only presume because I cant even get logged in I have a valid username and password it works on the website from the Mac but on the app I keep getting the same message invalid username and password I thought Id forgotten the password I emailed for reset never got the email asked for one twice never got either created a new user with a different email still cant login When my wife tried it from her phone last week she could get the app to work but we could never connect to the weather station This whole part of its been a big waste of time     The App is crap

The app is not updated for larger screen phones running iOS 8 Doesnt conform to the new Apple Design HIGs Interface is busy and not intuitive and doesnt seem to autorefresh I succumbed to BeWeather and WeatherUnderground apps to retrieve my WX station data as they continually update and optimize the apps This app and their AcuLink bridge for that matter are disappointing        Severely outdated app
