Been using the iPad version for years so moving to the iPhone version which does not appear to support landscape has taken some adjusting to Most infuriating is the bug in Activity Slips where the calendar drop down does not go away Unacceptable         iPhone app not as good PapaJoe

If it s not one thing it s another with this app and Acclivity Although 4 4 fixed other bugs this latest upgrade now does not allow the ability to select a non chargeable activity when creating an activity slip and time is not billable to a client This ability existed in earlier versions and now renders this mobile app and the entire software application an incomplete solution for my business     4 4 Update wdesiderio

It is not possible to enter a new customer card directly from a sales invoice which means sales rep has to be aware card needs entering first from another screen Some windows such as referral screen do not have a cancel button thus forcing you to select a referral source It s good but very limited could do with more features also a colour scheme feature would be good too allow reps to work in a colour they feel comfortable with Scanning barcodes would be a good feature too to enter a product for a sale such as a rep on site will scan current product customer has straight to invoice to reorder item Another good feature would be to limit what screens a rep can use for example only have access to invoices for a sale they need to make and only be able to access customer cards a log file of what they do such as change sale etc or when in main accountedge plus to show who edited card or sale this will reduce issues later on and allow for proper procedures to be followed                 Good but Markp17

I have also been playing with this and it just won t load on my iPhone 6 I spoke to AccountEdge tech support and they said a new version of the app would be coming out later this week which will fix the issue I am not very impressed so far Still let s see what comes out         IT Director pacrs

Initially it worked Current version still crashes during Dropbox sync every single time you run it It is a completely useless app without being able to sync with desktop Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not fix the issue Really disappointed IPad version works okay but has had other challenges like entering a long quote then being unable to save it or sync it Reinstalling it fixed that problem on the iPad New redesigned version still crashes every time Still useless 3 10 15 Thought I d give it a shot on my iPad March 17th The exact same thing happens Never finishes the initial sync App just quits Maybe it s something with my data Surely they wouldn t have released it this way     Crashes on Sync Every Time Updated Rusty Gordon

I just installed the latest version on 3 10 15 and when I attempt to sync with my desktop AE2014NE file on Dropbox the iPad app fails with some cryptic syntax error message         Will it ever work ckat

Love this app I can now log all my time on the road via my phone It s meant to team up with AccountEdge on the MAC and it does so very well The App is not full featured accounting it s adjunct to your desktop solution AccountEdge a very very good business software for your MAC                     CPA ATroastCPA

Early versions had a lot to be desired But the latest version is much faster and the feature set keep getting better and better You have to be on the latest version of AccountEdge to sync with the mobil app It is not designed by be a full accounting app but a way to enter sales expenses activity slips and mileage records outside of the office                     Keeps getting better and better garyacraig

It NEEDS to have account balances at least for bank accounts Since this is used to make payments it is vital that the user be able to check the balance before making a payment I still use iBank simply as a check register because of this lacking feature would love not to have to enter transactions twice Oh and multiple currencies would be nifty too             Good app but one main feature missing Captain Fava

This app makes it possible to bill while on the job I have used it to connect to the office computer via the Internet while moving from job to job Account edge mobile makes it possible to have my office in my work truck             Almost like taking the office with me TheLightGuy

This app serves little to no useful functionality for me a long time diehard AccountEdge for the Mac user business owner and sales person It would be great to be able I pull up any sales or purchase info via iPhone or iPad The syncing functionality is a bit cumbersome as well I hear from Acclivity Support that any useful mobile functionality is not expected anytime soon     Pretty much useless UBeCalm

I ve attempted to sync my iPhone 5s to my laptop but not all of the Activities will load Some will load and the rest won t Then none of them would load after changing some of the names in an effort to see if I could get more of the Activities to load figuring the naming was maybe the problem         Only some Activities sync BonnetCrew

It won t let me past the demo screen and I have a dinosaur iPad 1 so can t sync to Dropbox because I can t do ios7 And the only time I did try to do in invoice it was not synced with my company file and had different numbers I consider myself pretty computer savvy but I m helpless     Must be doing something wrong hate it dianathegreat13

We use it all the time on the road checking available inventory It has drawbacks If you need an item it gives you a total available but does not show at which location In our case that could be Australia USA or one of 5 other locations Fix this and it good for 5 stars as this would be a big plus Easy synching                 Very Good but could be great Johnmajor1

This app is infuriating in the way it needs to be installed The app doesn t give the user any way to bypass or correct installation problems Although I have already created an Accountedge folder in DropBox on my iPhone the mobile app on my iPad wants to create another folder The setup gets stuck at this point and the setup remains undone On my iPhone 5 the app is locked up on the Link Dropbox screen and the app just shows the spinning circle and not not respond to screen input I have been using Accountedge on my MacBook Pro for years without difficulty but I am totally disapointed with the wierdness of this mobile app If I could get it set up I might be able to rate it higher         Accountedge Mobile Jim Dunny

If you click Settings and Tax ID Numbers you get a screen that shows your Social Security number ON MY iPhone There is a button that says Display Tax IDs I clicked it off and on and it made no difference I think this App is made by people in Australia and maybe things are different down there But in the US we keep our tax ID numbers we call them Social Security numbers secret because identity thieves can use them to set up false bank accounts in our names It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE to have an iPhone App that displays a Tax ID number EVER Especially after only two clicks If my phone is lost or stolen it s a huge risk     Why I deleted this app Gretch02

I downloaded a trial of the Mac Desktop software and the iPad Mobile App to start using for a new company I setup Unfortunately the iPad App constantly crashes You can t work on it for a minute without it crashing I m clearly not the only one suffering from this problem How can developers release something like this seriously When my trial of the desktop software expires if you guys developers have not fixed the crashing problem I won t be spending the money to purchase the software     Very Disappointing VFRMann

Ok so it doesn t do all that one might like but for version 1 this is a way cool app Having control over which cards and items show up so I don t have to carry my whole data file around is great Not needing to show my mobile staff everything in my file is good too When i am out of the office making business purchases i really appreciate being able to enter them on the go and having them show up in my data file when I get back Being able to get all my activity slips from my mobile staff without them coming into the office is great There are some things I d like AEM to do but I know only more good things will be coming from the folks at Acclivity as we let them know what we would like because my experience has been that they do listen to their users And for those folks who are upset about needing to upgrade to use AEM come on if you have a business you should know better No return on investment no sense in investing                     Come on AccountEdge on your Phone sparticusprime
