I want to like this app and have invested some time in trying to figure everything out to create best possible photos It seems the pics I have taken with this app turn out worse blurry than my iPhone 6 Plus Seems to be quite a bit of lag time If subject is not completely still this will without a doubt result in a blurry photo Not a very good shutter speed             Help Becca Jo H.
Since iOS 11 it quit saving images Have to use another app now Also don t like the tiny exposure compensation and adjustment buttons would much rather just slide my finger like the built in app Looking for an alternative     Does not save to camera roll Rhonbo2
This is by far the best app that I have found My Canon 60d doesn t see nearly as much action since I loaded 645 Pro Mk III on my iPhone Aside from the outstanding performance of the app itself the support is incredible I had upgraded my iPhone to IOS 11 yesterday and it caused a glitch with saving of photos to the camera roll I had shot several photos of the Mars Venus conjunction at sunrise this morning and then could not find them I sent a support message at 6 15 am and had a reply from Mike Hardaker within minutes telling me how to correct the problem IOS 11 removes 645 Pros access to photos and then when you reset it it doesn t update until you completely shut down the app Best app investment I ve ever made                     Hands down best photography app for IOS and incredible support TomBAnderson
A nicer camera app than the bulit in one but controls are clumsy and challenging to opperate especially if you dont have kid size hands I purchased this for a vacation and the app quit saving the images to camera roll Two days of memories and images to keep are now not there Developer tried to accuse me of changing the settings which did not happen Massive glitch to which they responded ignorantly I may keep useing the app but not for anything noteworthy Apps that dont perform properly and where you might be accused of not opperationg correctly are quickly abandoned         Warning caution Distagon Sid
I ve always had some lag issues with this app but they ve gotten pretty bad Sometimes it s fine Other times Choppy viewfinder and a lot more lag than in the past E g while framing a shot or immediately after taking one on HQ JPG mode Hope to see it back to form someday Finally battery drain is extreme compared to other camera apps VSCO Filmborn                 Great app but laggy on my SE pitzeleh8
I get the DNG RAW image I want and responsive support I d happily pay 3X as much Just an ordinary customer no relation w developer other than that                     Invaluable for my work WaltFrench
This app does not have the smoothness of some manual photo apps for example you have to repeatedly and laboriously hit a series of plus or minus signs to set your parameters Further it has reduced the longest shutter speed from 1 2 to 1 3 sec But it has a cool looking interface and for those that are looking to apply a lot of true photographic filters film type etc this is a worthwhile app to have in your arsenal                 Clumsy With Issues But Okay Still Paul in NJ
Good sharp images Sluggish on my iPhone 6 but worked fine on my iPhone 5                 Good sharp images Bruce765
Great app for us amateurs and pros alike Camera app has many filters that I find very uselful Just wish it came with a user s guide and tips tricks for using adjusting settings                 Great App Yvonne and turbo
The app worked fine Now it crashes as soon as I open the app     App now crashes Gpa43
The best camera app hands down has remained that way for a long time Yes the parameters are difficult especially with big dumb thumbs like mine But this is the closest to an actual camera as it gets the features are huge Also a very healthy helpful manual component alongside it Get it Completely worth the price                     What happened NesPeeNesPeeNes
I am not sure if there is a problem I have been taking several low light shots And each time the exposure is way off from my manual setting                     Possible exposure ptoblem Johnger1234
My go to camera Are some serious lag issues in the above configuration Wondering if this is being looked into                     Support for 7plus and ios10 collum
Hope Raw support is coming soon Otherwise nice app                 RAW Kyaecker
This app use to work great Now it crashes all the time It is totally unusable now Are there plans to fix it or is this now a dead application     What happen Grifter1964
Updated 8 18 2016 I love this app I still would love to see to feature requests 1 A quick button on the main screen to access the white balance setting 2 I would like another quick launch button to access the focus bias option This to items I use all the time so much that this update would really make my life easier 3 I really need a Structure and Sharpening Mask The iPhone 6s Plus is to soft for me and make my pics look out of Focus I would love to be able to set a certain sharpening Mask that can be used for all pics Like setting a filter this is used for all pics 4 I would love to be able to hold down the shutter button to obtain the 10 Fps shooting mode of my iPhone 6s Plus The above features would really make this app even better                     Love 645 Pro camera Johnger1234
The greater control over focus exposure and image quality are of course quite welcome but the film grain emulation as well as color filtration for greyscale images are alone worth the price of the app Someday Instagram will catch on to these tweaks The interface however inexplicably emulates that of a physical point and shoot camera instead of using the possibilities of the iPhone s hi res touchscreen The simulated three dimensional is is a distraction and the interface simply can t rotate properly for square portrait orientation shooting square is most natural in the vertical An actual camera has limited surface area and thus has to cram minimal symbols into circular buttons No need for that here Tapping for a pop up menu and sliding for selections would ease the photographic process Right now valuable features are buried four screens deep in a menu that acts exactly like it only has the directional arrows of a hardware camera The filter menu brings up a needless 3D carousel when a two d layout with fixed locations would be faster A slider would be vastly preferable to tapping tiny increments Saving favorite filters would be perfect HDR would be a godsend but I imagine it s expensive to develop Still I keep coming back to this app because of the film and grain emulation I hope the interface is eventually streamlined             Wise features cumbersome interface Mills Center Contemporary Music
I had many issues with earlier versions but with a new version a new 5s phone and iOS 8 it s great nearly everything I want in a camera app I have about a dozen different camera apps each because they have features I could only find in each specific app With this latest release it looks like I can delete three fourths of those If this adds panorama HDR repeating interval timer and a couple other features it will be the only app I need It has a beautiful interface well thought out controls packed with features that compete with expensive SLRs it s great as is and regularly getting better                     Nearly perfect camera Johnny Badhair
I have only had this app for about a week While it does have a ton of features that I have yet to discover this app freezes like crazy I have to close and reopen it almost every time I use it It s really annoying It also has a lag when moving the phone around             Good features but bad functionality great .,mn
This app is perfect except I d like the ability to use my volume button as the shutter button just like the iOS camera app does Especially adding support for the EarPods volume buttons so I can get a steady shot on my tripod without having to use the timer delay                 Exactly what I was looking for except for one thing ❤️
645PRO is my go to app for the images that I will be running through a professional workflow using Photoshop on my desktop computer And to be honest it has been since this app first came out As a matter of fact I even wrote a published article about it that Michael Hardaker will remember because the images from 645 PRO were so superior to the JPG s that came out of the camera app in the iPhone I am a professional photographer that has been shooting since 1975 I have done almost all the specialties in photography but currently specialize in fine art landscapes Anyone who has done serious landscapes knows that image details matter I am not going to tell anyone that our phone cameras can replace a high end DSLR Based on the current state of technology as of 6 2016 they cannot But I will tell you that the best camera is the one you have with you and many times that ends up being my iPhone 6 Plus So I am always into maximizing image quality based on what I am able to produce in the moment 645 PRO allows me to do that When I see a shot that catches my eye and my iPhone is all I have with me I use this app in bracket mode set to 2EV 0EV 2EV By having 645 PRO do three bracketed images with each single press of the shutter button I get 3 images that give me the exposure options I need to produce professionally blended images that look like what the eye sees I also configure the Settings to deliver TIFF s as the output format so I can do non destructive editing For iphoneographers or ipadographers more apps are now showing up in the App Store that offer advanced editing options involving layers and image blending Finally I have seen the numerous comments over time about this app not functioning properly All I can say to that is I keep my phone updated and I do not abuse it To date I have never run into any problem with this app other than a slight processor heating tendency which was corrected long ago in one of the earlier updates BOTTOM LINE If you are a photographer that appreciates a camera working with you rather than against you this is your app If you are a snap shooter who does not know the difference in JPG and TIFF format or what manual vs automatic means this app offers a complexity of options that may present a steep learning curve But if you want to learn photography vs snapshots then this might be for you too                     Closet thing to my DSLR s in my pocket cp77
While I am impressed with this app what turns me off is the fact that the screen freezes after a few shots You then have to exit and go back into the app only for the same thing to happen I ve uninstalled and the whole thing and still the same Hopefully this gets fixed because this would be a great app on my 6s             Freeze Optical Journalist
Hands down the best If you like using your phone for photography this is it No other app gives you this level of control over your pictures                     Best camera app available Ihateyoumike
In terms of picture quality and flexibility this is the best camera app In terms of battery this is horrible I have 6s and every time I use take a pic with this app I lose 2 4 of my battery I d like to use this app more but at that rate I d be hard pressed to when out for a day Fix that and it s 5 stars             Battery issues Papskier
Great App The best camera app I have used You do have to know some camera technology to make the best use of it It is not buggy if you know what you re doing                     Awesome app Tomplay
Keeps crashing on my iPhone 6 I can t take a picture Waste of money Stay away     crash crash crash D J U
Love this for it s super high quality and customization Keeps getting better with every update Keep up the great work                     GREAT APP Ryan Sigesmund
Very nice app And I d make it my reach for except there s always a struggle as to whether it ll take a pic or not Click on the button maybe maybe not Shake set to notification only maybe a bug where shake means no go regardless of setting But oddly it saves a previous capture from weeks ago Yes buggy That s why I use the Apple camera app for quick shots 645 when I have 20 minutes or so             Love It but buggy SedonaDenise
This gem mimics an enthusiast DSLR interface offers quality film modes and excellent output options The first allows for a shortened learning curve the second for surprisingly sophisticated captures and the third for the best possible file output to allow for secondary manipulation with higher end editing software Overall it s an absolute pleasure to use assuming you are comfortable with higher end cameras and are simply looking to periodically replicate the experience on your iPhone If I have a criticism it is the fact that it seems quite battery intensive at least on my iPhone 6 You won t be shooting for hours with this app Regardless quality is quality This is a superior product                     Excellent and familiar handling with quality modes and filters FJ Woods
Wow This app is very very cool I LOVE how it puts those impressive controls on the sides of my viewfinder I m an amateur photographer composing a photo say cheese and hold your hand up and I actually feel like I got a shot at taking pro level photos with this app                     Nice Bookbuyer2000
Wanted this as a run and gun camera when u dont have my dslr it has the look the feel but no video and still use a lot of battery the tiff files are much smaller from the ProCam app for taking same picture same angle it s 36MB and 48MB from ProCam app that much more details in picture and it gives video and more Skin is great but wanted to see more Editing options video and more looking to change this review         Cool app but el-merow
This is a brilliant idea and the design and execution of the design is without flaw Functionally it can be a bit clumsy and it consistently takes 2 4 photos with one touch of screen button Fix that and it could be a 4 star phone Add some noise reduction and basic enhancements tools and it s a 5 star app             I like the design and concept buggy operation Gman1992
For any Pro this is what you ve been looking for Total control Loads of options Complete control of settings If you re unable to come out with a pro quality photo using this app it is your own fault and you need to review your basic knowledge of photography It is what I ve been looking for ever since I first got my iPhone And it is great with the iPhone 6s Go for it                     This gives you a REAL camera at last ThaiWest
I ve been using this app for a short time now and am very impressed with both the image quality and control over the images I can capture Using it with an iPhone 6plus                     My go to iPhone Camera App svizzerams1
I m a professional photographer working now for over 14 years shooting with film and digital If you want the controls of a real camera in your pocket look no further This app has so much customization and control and it can all disappear to Auto with the flick of your finger I couldn t be happier with this app and with this current version which basically lets me shoot RAW uncompressed TIFF files or whatever you want even with other morbid apps running in the background I m running it on my iPhone 4s and I can shoot photos that rival what most are getting on a 6 Plus Btw my housemate just downloaded this to his 6 Plus and the photos are off the charts gorgeous Most photographers weren t getting this kind of quality out of early DSLRs let alone the customization and options for pre shot and post processing                     HANDS DOWN BEST CAMERA APP Ryan Sigesmund
I ve tried many photo apps and this one always seems to be one of the top for serious photo geeks using an iPhone Love how they made it almost like using a DSLR Lots of thought went into this app and it shows and it keeps getting better with steady updates Highly recommended for anyone that s wants a little more control over the iPhone camera settings                     Awesome Photo App SyntheticTone
Why is my iPhone 6 Plus getting SO hot after using this app for less than 2 minutes Other than that issue I really like this app If the overheating can be fixed I d gladly give it 5 stars             Phone gets really hot rockmixer
This is a good camera app and if you really wanted to learn manual shooting this would be the way to go It takes great picturesyou get higher quality than with the default Apple camera because it gives you the option to skip all the JPEG compression and because you have full control of the exposure It give you the option to save pics to the camera roll or somewhere else Etc This is a very good app but when it comes down to it I use ProCam because it gives you faster and more intuitive controls gives you same level of control and picture quality The most awkward control was the dial mimics the on on a real camerashutter priority aperture priority play etc It resets itself so I used it a lot and its really really awkward Give us a slider or something instead of a dialwhat works for your thumb on a camera doesnt work on a phone Really what would be great as an option is the tap to focus where you can control exposure and focus separately like ProCam They also give you sliders for more direct manual control The other problem with the app is that it doesnt shoot videoyou need a separate app for that unlike ProCam              Good but go with ProCam instead
Why is my iPhone 6 Plus getting SO hot after using this app for less than 2 minutes Other than that issue I really like this app If the overheating can be fixed Id gladly give it 5 stars           Phone gets really hot
I use to love this app but now it keeps crashing on my 4S My phone is my primary device Im not using this app on my phone until the crashing problem is fixed        Crash
Brief background For the best of the last 18 years I have played with slides IR film c41 and digital as a hobby My main interest in the past 5 years has been flash photography umbrellas soft boxes speedlights manual flash ttl masters slaves and the alike I have also been a programer for the best of the past 25 or so years so I can appreciate the effort that goes into coding something like this With this in mind this is what I think about this app The good 1 Manual controls semiautomatic controls exposure compensation 2 Beautifully looking interface The looks are just like a dslr 3 A well written well thought out user guide Though the interface is so familiar that one barely needs it 4 I dont care for the filters square or other formats for saving and other such features since I post process on a computer but if you do they may be a strength of the app 5 Full size tiff support that can be easily worked on with computer applications 6 Though I couldnt use these efficiently zebras and other forms of proper exposure indication are a nice touch Same thing goes for different grids etc The bad 1 Your iphone 6 gets very very hot This maybe within the parameters acceptable for approval by apple in the app store but from a user perspective not acceptable Battery drains very very quickly This is on the top of the line device with no other apps in the background and with tons of free memory This happens even when no pixels are being refreshed while reading the user guide Developer If this is by design you should disclose that your app will do this These devices are first phones and then cameras People wont use your app if they are concerned with device safety or battery life 2 Thank you for respecting manual settings when your turn the flash on Most other apps do not appear to do this However the flash is so weak The native app uses flash amazingly well If you have a bright background and a dark subject it appears to preflash and meter the exposure for the foreground subject as in dslr ttl flash Though I cant guarantee that this what the native camera app is doing what I do know is that in your app the flash looks to me always weak always the same and the white balance off on the flash illuminated foreground Obviously this is not as important as the heating problem Surely better flash handling or even manual flash control would be much appreciated since this is an app for photographers Overall this could be the best concept ever for a phone camera app but heating and battery drain even after turning off live film mode preview totally diminishes my enthusiasm for it I just dont use it Developer you are so close Kindly fix these issues and this will be a fabulous app        Could have been so good But fails
I paid for it I downloaded it I opened it and tried to set it up It crashed and has crashed every single time Ive opened it since Im going to try and get my money back     Total Bust
Invention to explore and see Well and exciting picture teacher Awesome app that just gets better Awesomely addictive and fun to play with the best pictures Even more great in everything I need to get the perfect picture I took each time                 650 Pro
As a BW photographer who has issues with viewing on a flat screen in color I was elated when I found I could set this app to view in grayscale yet save to a dRAW TIFF for converting to BW later Not to mention the spot meter etc Great                 My new favorite
App is working great The shutter on my iPhone 5 can be set to a full second and only half a second on my iPhone 6 Is it possible to bring that one second length shutter or even longer speeds in future updates                 Longer shutters
The best professional app of the store Nothing more nothing comparable                 So far the best
It no longer works with the iPhone 6 Ill open it but the screen will be black then I tried to switch modes of shooting but it crashed immediately              Used to be great
Im a heavy user of a Canon 5DM3 dSLR so I did have much lower expectations I do like the interfaces and the control it gives the user to compose the photograph Its the implied RAW support that I was disappointed in People this is not output RAW files It outputs TIFF files which is definitely better than JPG but you still lose some advantages in using RAW files Im not sure if its a limitation to iOS not giving the developer full access to unprocessed images or the developer not finishing the product Its an interesting app for now but unless I get the full imageprocessing capabilities that RAW allows me in Lightroom then this will not see much use for me So close yet so far        TIFF is not RAW
The best camera in all of creation just crashes with this updatesadface     What happened
Please fix this new issue that has just came up in the newest update When I hit home and put my phone to sleep in between shooting The app will freeze every time I then have to kill the app from the multitasker and relaunch to get it to work You can see how this could be inconvenient Perfect shots are missed when timing is off Other than that Thanks for a great camera with more control than I would expect from a phone camera Im running iPhone 6 plus on 83           Love this Camera but
Ive tested many apps that says best photo app but none comes close to this one seriously If you enjoy shooting with a DSLR you will love 645 The real app that use 100 of the iphone sensor with full control                 Best Professional APP
Prior to latest update and iOS 8 this app was my go to camera Now its too buggy to be useful Have lost dozens of shots while waiting for the viewfinder screen to unfreeze Just rotating the camera causes a frozen viewfinder and it usually takes 30 or more seconds to thaw out Other functions are jittery and can freeze the viewfinder too Have followed all the developers suggestions to aid the apps operation like closing all running apps and restarting my phone Nothing helps Unless an update comes along to make the app as flawless as before Ill be forced to find an alternative     645 Pro has taken a tumble
I had hoped that the update would make it possible for me to use this on my iPod Rouch but still no luckStill it doesnt work at all on my Touch They were very very very nice at the company but the only work around was to reset the iPod I did it three times and still no luck I am hoping that the next version will fix it           Loved the app but its still not working on my iPod Touch
Within 5 seconds of buying this app I knew it was a mistake Upon opening it you will discover that it has a terrible screen lag which is worse than any of the over 80 camera apps I have And dont believe those who want to convince you this only happens in Night Mode Thats just a lie The lag is so bad that youll think youre watching some slowmotion video of an Impressionists dream where the colors and shapes swirl and move as slowly as if you were swimming in molasses Ive waited for update after update to address this issue and it always remains While this Developers other app Pure Shot has a slight lag its NOTHING compared to how incredibly slow this app is to render the screen in real time If you buy the app you will seriously be shocked because theres no other camera app Ive seen which is even remotely as laggy as this one As a professional photographer I can tell you that I know from whence I speak And any reviewer who tells you how much they love all the bells and whistles with this app is failing to mention its one dealkilling flaw This is not merely an issue found only in Night Mode It happens in all modes and will cause you to lose countless shots If anything buy Pure Shot if you want to support this Developer To his credit he does take his updates seriously and has many features that are important to photographers But if you value your photos stay away from this one     Instant Regret At Purchasing It
Ive tried many photo apps and this one always seems to be one of the top for serious photo geeks using an iPhone Love how they made it almost like using a DSLR Lots of thought went into this app and it shows and it keeps getting better with steady updates Highly recommended for anyone thats wants a little more control over the iPhone camera settings                 Awesome Photo App
This app had no updates for a long time and now it is constantly updating to the point that I am erasing        No updates and now too many updates
Short Review Musthave app Long Review After years of disappointing results 645 Pro MK III finally delivers on its developers promise This is due to the advancements in Apples hardware which is finally powerful enough to process large photo images and also to the fact that the developer has somewhat surprisingly for an iOS photo app not only not sold out to Google or Yahoo but has continued to update and refine his software With all of the manual controls export options etc this is definitely worth the money if you know your way around a camera                 Wow
There are a LOT of camera apps out there and theyre all getting better Whats special about this one In this review Im only going to highlight unusual features You can assume all the other goodies AWF and preselects spot or matrix exposure and focus etc are present Back in the the analog days photographers loved to use different film stock for different subjects This app emulates many classic film stock and shows you the effect of using a given film in the viewfinder prior to taking the picture This is unique and it is magnificent The A80 film emulation makes fantastic natural portraits and the X32 emulation is unique and accurate KII and E64 are great for landscapes etc These are reportedly the emulations BW F4 Ilford FP4 T3 Kodak TriX H5 Itford HP5 A2 Agfapan X1 Ilford XP2 O Iford Ortho Plus Color P41 Kodak Portra 160 E64 Kodak Ektachrome 64 V50 Fuji Velvia 50 K25 Kodachrome 25 KII Kodachrome II A80 Agfachrome 64 X32 modern digital processing Camera backs are also simulated Think of this a performing a crop prior to taking the picture Since the selected aspect ratio is shown in the viewfinder WYSIWYG Certainly helps composing You can apply virtual filters similar to glass filters again prior to the first JPEG processing This is particularly useful for BW photos Blownout highlights and crunched shadows can be indicated by flickering white shading Even better you can manually focus and the areas of the photo fully in focus will shimmer as well focus peaking You can save in JPEG Max JPEG and TIFF formats they call it dRAW TIFF to differentiate it form a TIFF of a JPEG I have to say though that I needed to get to 400 blowup before the advantage of TIFF showed up File sizes were 12 59 and 17 MB so dont use TIFF unnecessarily They have an option for for lossless compression of the TIFFs using LZW compression which greatly reduces file size at the cost of speed Bottom line If youre going to take the time to compose and take a PHOTOGRAPH instead of a snapshot this is a superb tool                 Take Photographs Not Snapshots
645 Pro has two dozen controls and indicators a 62 page users guide and a depth of functionality that is boggling Once you have mastered that or are familiar with real fullfunction cameras it is as comfortable as an old shoe and as useful as an heirloom tool 645 Pro is a gem That said 645 is built like a race car it operates at the limits of the hardware and it can overheat or crash if not handled with skill It uses the resources of the iPhone aggressively including the batterykeep an eye on the gas gage Killing all apps and restarting the phone helps it run a lot cooler The high quality pictures it captures take longer to save than a snapshot would Take too many high resolution images too quickly and you may hit the wall iPhone photography is a teeter totter you can take very good pictures or you can take pictures very quickly You cant really do both 645 is a vehicle for taking excellent images if you handle it well                 A comprehensive camera app
1 star for no working flash     Flash dont work
Ive been using this camera app since the first version came out Im a former DSLR shooter so all of these features are very familiar and give me all the control I could ever wish for from my phone I like the new interfaceits easier to use Heres the butsince the beginning this app has always heated up my phone to the point where Id quit using it for fear of ruining the whole instrument I believe around the first or second version the developer tried to address this issue with some success but each time a new version comes out were back to the heatup problem The second thing isfrom its inception the app has been an incredible battery drainer I cant use most of the advanced display options etc because Id only be able to shoot one or two photos before my battery was drained As it is now in this latest version with most of the screen function turned off I can only get about 810 shots before my battery is shot My husband is a software engineering manager and he thinks there is a memory leak in the system There is now a third and very annoying problem with the current version Sometimes it just will not take a photo Try as I might to readjust the focus exposure etc the fire button just will not work I cant tell you how many times Ive had to switch to another camera app to get my shot Between this problem and the battery drain I really have to think carefully about whether or not to try to use this camera for my shot even though I know it has just what I want to take the shot If I were the developer I would concentrate all of my energies on fixing these bugs before I tried to add or change any other features While it nice that all of those meters and what not are available the truth is you cannot use them if you expect to take more than a very few shots before your battery is mort For information I am using an IPhone 5s 64 GB of which 15gb are available and I am running version 813 of the IOS           Ive always loved this camera but
I love the photos this app helps me take but using it for just a few minutes drains the battery and makes the phone super hot Please fix this Would give five stars if this can be resolved        Great photos but HOT
This app really makes me want to leave my Nikon DSLR home Not because its better but because its always with me and the manual and auto adjustments are fantastic A great buy                 Great app for a great camera
I have tried well over two dozen camera apps and without question 645 PRO MK III is the best The choice of camera setting options are numerous and unlike many other camera apps which allow only a couple very basic options that do nothing to obtain HQ photos or only allow full auto the choices in 645 PRO MK III are not only numerous but the most useful and essential to obtaining highest quality photos possible using an iPhoneiPad No other camera app that I have tried comes close Anyone interested in taking high quality iPhoneiPad photographs will not be disappointed                 645 PRO MK III The Best Camera App Available
After a few mins of using this app my phone became super hot Maybe fixing this        Super hot
App is useless After launch it makes my phone 6 freeze and get super hot How can I get my money back     Dont Download
For anyone growing up with film like I did this App will be a welcome change You probably wont need the manual but if you did its well written and a sign of commitment from its creator If you want the most out of your iPhone camera I think you will be pleased with this app                 645 Pro is just like being home
Works great on my iPhone 5 but is very very sluggish on my iPad Mini first generation It works pretty well if I push and hold the film button to set it to unprocessed mode No problems on the iPhone 5 Great app and gives very good control              iPad Mini problems
No camera on any App Store does what this things does Period                 Still the best
The UI is a little complex but it is actually easy to learn if you have used a DSLR Output quality and film effects are wonderful It has a night mode to allow exposure up to one second which I have not seen in any other camera apps The main thing I would like to see improved is battery consumption If live effect preview is turned on the power consumption is pretty bad Other camera apps seem not that bad              Like a DSLR
This is certainly a must have app for anyone serious about wanting great pictures from their iPhone but the latest version is buggy and hangs up soon after opening           Great but
App crashes developer says if questions just contact no link to do so or email address Now it wont even download from app store     App Crashes
It has a dazzling array of features its still a fairly clean and uncluttered interface They support external products such as my favorite the Sneaky Squid offcamera flash                 One of the best
This app is amazing When I was a kid certain shoes would make me run faster and jump higher This app is like that but for photos I could take a picture of a beautiful woman riding a unicorn at sunset with this app and it would look amazing I highly recommend it                 Sweet baby cheeses
A great camera app and ability to save to TIFF but after I take a couple pictures the phone gets extremely hot Almost too hot to touch Once that happens it starts to hang Thats the only reason it gets four stars so if that bug can get worked out its nearly perfect              Gets HOT
This camera app has a wealth of features for the advanced photographer that desires much better control of the images they shoot You need to read the guide to enjoy all this app has to offer                 Wow Best camera app by a long shot
Overall excellence that keeps getting better                 Excellent
Very nice photo app However my phone gets very warm and it drains the battery very quickly I hope these issues can be addressed because this has the potential to be a superb photo app           Battery drains and gets very warm
when using high quality images iPhone 6 overheats tiff and high quality JPEGs are not worth a non working phone please fix     Overheating Iphone
Very awesome app that only a true photographer would love You can choose film type and even customize to make your own You can also use lens filters during the shot If you are a BW photographer then this is huge for you Love that I can shoot jpg and raw at the same time I always find myself leaving the big camera home only to find a perfect shot that Im desperately trying to take with my phone This app makes those shots almost possible because of the control I get Any shots i take with this app will be edited on my Mac using photoshop so raw files appeal to me Just a couple of things that are lacking unless I missed it I BIG one is the lack of aperture priority mode which is mostly the reason why I bought this app Is this a limitation of apples camera usage I really want to heart this app so much but no aperture priority mode means no love Wish the film adjustment ranges can have wider values and to have more options to tweak I would also love an Acros film type Using the dial could be much better Just Keep it like any any iOS button where you just move your finger left to right to turn the dial Id rather not have to switch to the mode where you choose from the screen                 Photographers must have
After so much frustration with the earlier versions of this program and the quirky interface this program is finally awesome Very cool Thank you                 Finally lives up to the hype
Bought this for my iPhone 6 running iOS 83looks like it woulg be a great camera app if it didnt lock up after a few minutes and my phone got VERY HOT Wont try to use this again till an app update gets posted with a fix for the HOT phone issue        Might be Great if didnt lock up
What to say 1 The GUI locks up after only a minute or two so its unreliable most of the time Cant shoot press buttons or anything Just have to restart the app mostly 2 When tapping to focus I dont see any feedback so have no idea of it is focusing Why not just do it the way the default camera does If it aint broke etc As far as the functionality of the GUI goes its not really optimal Its cute to make the UI mimic SLR controls but not at the expense of efficiency Id rather the UI have buttons to change its modes if operation than a fake jog dial personally speaking All I care about is that I can utilize SS ISO and Aperture And that it bypasses the firmware processing and compression Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the aperture Why is that Limitation of the API Im sorry to have wasted my money at this point but will remain hopeful that one day the dev will redeem it        Barley useful due to bugs
Ive nothing but issues with this app and PureShot yes Ive purchased both Both apps behave erratically and Ive tried several times to email support at their site with my issues without success When you try to send and email to their support page it just sits there and spins nothing Nothing unusual with my setup iPhone 5S running iOS 812 If their going to sell the app they need to support the app     Program Issues
Going strong since my 4s This is a great camera app                 The best
The idea behind this app is beautiful a highquality rawlike image direct from the iPhones sensor When the app works I get beautiful neutral images that are perfect for editing in Snapseed Photoshop or VSCOcam I have frequent issues however where images are never saved or take a minute or more to save from the RAM buffer sometimes I take 5 photos and 4 make it to my photo roll where did that other one go This is not a camera app for onceinalifetime moments Its too unstable for that its what I use for shots where I have a few minutes to make sure that the camera app saved the file and can reshoot if need be Maybe 2030 of all photos I take with this app just disappear never making it to my camera roll Those that do arrive in my camera roll sometimes get there instantly but more often they take between 30 seconds and 10 minutes to show up The incamera filtering and editing options arent something I use I wish that the dial on screen could be used to dial exposure up and down or rack focus back and forth so I dont need to rely on the touchfocus as touchexposure functions of the app that dont really seem to work They probably work if you know their quirks but its not intuitive and not explained in the manual Other apps like Smugmugs Camera Awesome app have excellent pinpointaccuracy focusing and splitexposurefocus functionality that are easy to use and dont have a learning curve Id like to see this app improve in that area I love that we can get superHQ files out of this app and that there are several qualitylevel options to choose from This really does have potential to be the oneandonly camera app But for now its just a quirky experiment           Has potential to be the champion has a long way to go
This app is the best camera app for advanced users Although it could use a 5shot bracket mode in addition to the 3shot So far the app is unusable on iOS 9 because it crashes after a few seconds for no apparent reason           Should be 5 stars but crashes on iOS 9
