I always hated running In high school I ran a 15 minute mile At the age of 30 I started using Couch to 5k and saw great results I was able to run my first official 5k in 32 minutes after finishing the program I bumped up to this 10K program and the results are getting even better The tempo runs and fast runs are killer at first but they improve your overall endurance I m in week 6 and I m sure I ll hit the 10K mark by week 8 So good I wish they had a half marathon app Mr. E Machine
I really enjoyed Runicorn in the 5k app and would love to have him as a trainer choice for the 10K app Please put Runicorn in this app bethbaryo
I like this app it is very good at getting you to be a better runner It s challenging for someone that does not like to run and wants to start I know this app is for people begging to run longer distance than a 5k but more information while running would be good at this point Tell the time you have left in a section is useful not just you are 1 2 way Also how fast your running pace is would be good so when you are supposed to run faster tempo run or fast run you know if you are pushing yourself Good App LA Angel Baby

I can t say how valuable this app and Couch to 5K has been to me as an absolute novice It s so easy to use not glitchy and the price is absolutely ridiculous in a good way If this were to be 50 I would still buy it Worth every freakin penny sonoftheeternalone
I was looking for a new exercise to help lose some weight and get in shape I had been using the elliptical for years and I felt it wasn t helping as much any more I saw the Couch to 5k app in the spring and jumped on it I love the interface The programs is wonderful and it really had me looking forward to the next run I never would have thought by the end of the 9 weeks I would be running 30 minutes straight I completed and ran my first 5k and lost 14 lbs in the process I am now in week 2 of the 5k to 10K app and it is just picking up where the last one left off Seriously if you are considering it just go for it If I can do it anyone can FANTASTIC APP Silver as

I ve found this and the couch to 5k app really helpful I started with couch to 5k 10 weeks ago I finished all 9 weeks and just finished my first week of 5k to 10k When I started I could hardly jog for a minute straight I can now jog run for at least 30 minutes straight I haven t tried going longer yet I m not someone that had a workout routine at all when I first started so don t feel intimidated by this It s really helpful and rewarding to see your progress Good luck Great App to get a Running Routine KCKCKCKCKCKCCKCKCKCKCCK
My times are consistently faster when I run a race during my training with this app The interval workouts are killer but really do help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow voice cues to coke through when the phone is on silent or do not disturb Android version used to allow that Gets results smb4977
I love the progressive plan to reach a 10K I cannot hear the voice on the app for the life of me despite turning it up as high as it will go and turning off all other music etc that I usually listen to on a run I have to strain to hear it It also erased a workout after I did it bc I accidentally hit quit Maybe a are you sure prompt is needed There s also no halfway prompt even if you turn on that feature I ended up buying the SecondsPro timer app and putting the runs in there Good plan awful app Jilly176

I did the couch to 5K app from the same company and then got started on this one So far so good I think it is great how there are different things like speed training interspersed between various links of runs at various aids And in person trainer is always the best but I would say this is definitely secondbest I really liked the couch to 5K app also I am no speed demon but I can at least now finish a 5K without collapsing at the end Love this app
Following the C25K plan and I love the app It doesnt just help me to run it helps me run better Stick with it and you will see results Excellent plan
I started with the Couch to 5K Apps turned me into a runner All was well when I ran outdoors Now that I run on the treadmill the app cannot measure my distance It offers the ability to edit the distance but it does not work I keep getting an error Please allow the app to connect to the server so those of us using the treadmill can keep track of our runs Wish I could edit distance

1 shuts down on you if you use it with any other app including Pandora 2 the voice prompts only work if you are in the app and your phone is on the entire work out 3 the voice itself isnt even that loud The workouts are good though if it doesnt shut down in the middle of you doing it I was 2 minutes from being done with my cool down app shuts down and looses the entire workout Not that reliable

My wife and I used the 5k version She wasnt able to get the voice prompts to work consistently but somehow mine worked Now on the 5k10k program and the voice prompts only work at the beginning I liked the 5k program dissatisfied with this one so far Voice prompts dont work
The training program is extremely solid The gradual build up and variety can turn any nonrunner into a runner I spent my whole life playing team sports and swimming and always always hated running just for runnings sake Now that I work absurd hours every week and dont have a university gym or team sports conveniently available to me running is the only affordable way to keep myself in shape This program has helped me learn to set goals and enjoy working towards them As for the app itself there are a few bugspoor design choices You have to lock the phone WITHIN the app lock icon in top left in order to continue to receive the voice commands over the music and see the timer Even then sometimes the voice doesnt come through for some reason If you just leave the app up and allow the phone to lock itself youll only receive text notifications of the intervals so unless youve set your phone in front of you on a treadmill you wont know whats going on It took me a few runs to figure this out it wasnt clearly stated anywhere in the app Also the app allows you to enter your distance and calculates your pace for you but it includes your warm up and cool down in the calculation So even if you ran a 8 minmile during the actual run your 15 minmile warm up and cool down will skew the apps calculation and your pace within the app will be recorded as something like 1040 minmile Theres no way to edit this as far as I can tell so even though you can still compare one pace to another in the app they arent actually reflecting your real run pace Ive taken to calculating my pace using the treadmill stats and just writing them down separate from the app If I remember to check the distance at the start and end of my run Boo Great App Couple Glitches

Everyone has a unique way to get motivated to run This is mine I get mileage route time pace cues and get to hear my own music It works for me Motivates me

I started running earlier this year with a 5k app and after a few months at that distance I decided I was ready for 10k This app has helped so much Unlike other apps its workouts are designed to very gradually increase your distance and pace by using two short runs and one long run each week It even includes recovery weeks More so than other apps Ive used this is like having your own personal running coach I love it Amazing running app

I used the original C25K to go from not running at all not even on a treadmill to finishing my first 5K at 3058 The 5to10K app is great at getting me to the next level The only problems are I cant always hear the commands over the music and the app doesnt tell me how fast my tempo run versus my jog is Otherwise I love it Great fitness app

Barely worth writing a review on No voice prompts unless you keep your phone on throughout the duration of the workout So Youre gonna lose a WHOLE lotta battery life Even then the voice is soooo soft I can barely hear it In fact I cant say I can hear her at all After that the music comes back BLARING So in order to use this app no music can be played and the screen stays on the entire time YES I followed the instructions to a T on how to make the voice prompts work Doesnt keep track of my workouts Says Ive only completed the first day So each time I log into app I have to figure out which weekday Im on Seriously The app doesnt keep track Basically I open the app to see what I have to do and then try to do it on my own because the app plays no role at all And on days with tempo runsintervalsthat just doesnt work Im getting a different app One that works I successfully completed the C25K app called get running and LOVED it But they dont have a 10k version This one will be deleted after I complete my review Dont wast your time Terrible app
