Im looking for a legit keyboard replacement for note taking and general keyboard use The approach taken to this problem is subpar The general idea of having me enter in specific motions to get a particular letter is this app I cant get it to let me handwrite a t which is annoying ill have to do some random gesture and then remember that Bad Overall this is waste of 5 and is simply a parole trick app that I might use to sell some geriatric to get a tablet Its usefulness beyond that doesnt exist Ideally what I wish this app could be is something that makes my note taking much more fluid and faster than typing on this touchscreen Dont be miss lead by obvious planted reviews this is a waste unless youre looking to get granny a iPad for Christmas     I can only assume the 5 star rating are planted

This application is not ready It does not capitalize has no exclamation point and does not copy and paste into other applications The possibilities are there with further development but it is not worth the money at this time     Not Ready

The following is a note i wrote about this app USING the app to write it do no buy this apbrp it llisq a brrpsiesce oc f shlt So think twice before investing a couple of bucks in this app A chicken pecking on a keyboard would make more sense     hard s to do rlight

This is a great app I used to use a certain handwriting recognition on the Palm platform and this works great The copy bug has been fixed they have already added some features that have been suggested and they are quick to respond Write using this and copy and paste it into your iCal app or any other app that uses text input it will save you lots of time                 Much faster than QWERTY keyboard input great app

It works almost flawlessly on the first training for Palm Graffiti 1 I will retrain a few letters to improve the recognition but those who are complaining dont know how to use it I also dont know if the cutpaste method will be convenient enough to use on a regular basis it is a pity that it cant be registered as a new keyboard type but I suspect that Apple has this locked down so this isnt the developers fault The developer really should have a short user guide that can be brought up from the app menu                 Works just fine best for exPalmOS graffiti users

Its a nice effort For what its worth I have used it for two days So take that into account First there is no instruction on how to use this Not even on the website It took some figuring out You have to program each individual letter with your handwriting And then you are good to go But once you get going it seems slow It would be just as quick to type using the keyboard on your iphone I liked the idea of turning your handwriting to text but this is too slow You have to write each individual letter You cannot write out whole words Thats why it is so slow        Not worth the 499

I was really excited about this app since I miss my Palm Graffiti but this doesnt work It has mute feature but there is no sound not that its needed The punctuation doesnt work When you try to add more shapes it say enter text first but provides no screen or keyboard to do so and the recognition is horrible to boot I choked on the 5 but thot if it did as promises it would be worth it but this borders on fraid     wow did i just get robbed

This app is ok not great I am using it to write this review If you have used Graffiti for the Palm you can train it to recognize Graffiti 1 except for x which used 2 keystrokes Drawbacks no editing except backspace limited punctuation and no help screen But a good start              Good initial release

Its been a while since I used Grafiti but the gestures I taught this app seemed pretty distinct even if they werent true Grafiti However the app still made basic transcription errors Unfortunately given the relatively small user base I doubt that the developers will improve its performance Too bad     Not worth the price

I trained it with Palm Graffiti gestures After ten minutes of trying I give up It just isnt accurate enough I was a wiz at Graffiti but I cant make this work If youre on iOS 8 dont expect a real keyboard replacement This is just a typing app where you copy to clipboard then paste into other apps A complete ripoff at 5 Maybe worth 1        Barely works

I was hoping for something like Palm but this is very cumbersome to use Keyboard is still much faster     Not impressed

The iPhone just became a better tool After the app was train with graffiti gestures I was finally able to put the Palm V into the honor shelf              Nice App

This 5star review has not been planted by the developer with whom I have never communicated I wrote this review myself in 2012 and stand by it on December 30 2013 This app is well done versatile and useful All that it requires is a good set of instructions and you have a superb app Once the user is skilled in the input method they can use this app when they are out an about and cannot easily use the virtual keyboard Once the user has made the note they can transfer it into any app that requires typingincluding but not limited to the calendar contacts reminders notes and mail apps This is a great way to get data into your device and avoid using the virtual keyboard My original review is presented below No one planted it when I wrote it and no one is planting it now There are those of us who loved our Palm Pilots so much that we could hardly bear to give them up even after the input screens had become so worn out that we could no longer use our devices For diehards like ourselves this app comes as a welcome surprise What a pleasure it is to be able to use the Graffiti technique again and how well it works The editing bar at the bottom of the screen is also very easy to use Thanks so much for making this possible again This review was written on the Handwriting app itself I think that some people could have trouble learning to use this app if they did not have previous experience using Graffiti on the Palm devices I have to admit that I had some trouble figuring out what this app was about when I first opened it I had an AHA moment when I recognized what I had to do The problem lies not with the app but with the fact that the developer has not included any instructions Proper instructions could solve a lot of problems because with them the app can be very simple to use Also care must be taken when defining the letter shapes not to make shapes that can easily be confused for each other This takes a little ingenuity but can easily be accomplished                 At last

Cant believe I WASTED money on this junk Doesnt work     Do not buy
