Flawless execution of an interesting concept
If you want to show off what your iPhone can do this application is it Absolutely stunning
I have seen a few recipe books containing chef and restaurant information before but never so neatly packaged in a hand held device And the list of restaurants involved is quite outstanding This is well worth the money and I recommend getting it The recipes look great and I am sure taste like heaven I am a big fan of gourmet food and cant wait for my wife to start cooking Interesting concept

Im trying to get over the fact that I paid 599 for this app about 2 weeks before they lowered the price Now that they have though 42 Restaurants is one of the best recipe programs on iTunes They also fixed the bugs that were plaguing the app In my top 3 along with How to Cook Everything and Mario Cooks This is a unique collection of highend gourmet recipes from some of the best chefs in the world along with some great information about their restaurants Some of the recipes are rather exotic my local Albertsons tends to not carry pheasant and pig trotters for instance and the preparations can be very complexthere are good reasons why these are some of the top chefs Stylishly presented easy to navigate and the recipes are well laid out if difficult A truly superb app New lower price makes this app unbeatable

This app has very high end recipes from restaurants some us can only dream of dining at It allows you to learn about the restaurant chef food etc all while providing the most stunning photography of the food and restaurant It is VERY easy to use Cant wait to see new recipes andor restaurants as they are updated Beautiful AND Useful
OK so I have to admit I was torn over whether or not to buy this app For its price point I didnt think it had enough content The design though is what completely sold me It is one of the most beautifully designed apps on the app store beautiful photography nice type It is a bit slow and the interface is pretty awkward although they do a good job of trying to explain it at start up but still worth the purchase if you love to cook and appreciate good design A little slow but incredible design
In portrait mode you should be able to swipe to go to the next or previous restaurant That would conform to the standard Apple interface interaction If it wasnt for this I wouldve given this app a 5star rating Interface needs work
This is a step up from average cookbooks I love to cook and I love a good challenge this will satisfy both The app itself is downright awesome the way all apps should be Thank you Wow

I really like this app the recipes range from Iron Chef America level to at home great cook Getting from the name and photo of the dish on a dinerstyle spinner VERY COOL to the ingredients and stepbystep directions is a bit wiggly giggly but having an actual recipe that a chef serves in his or her restaurant is great Currently theres a handful of restaurant recipes but it seems theyll be adding more in updates and thats a good thing Very Chefy
