Even though it lists English as the only language this program is Japanese only and heavily based on text rather than icons In addition move entry is awkward and computer play doesnt appear very strong Japanese only

Never seem to get an online opponent Anyone out there

The computer is much weaker than other iPhone Go games and there is no option to adjust the difficulty of play Nor does it seem to adjust to your skill level Weak opponent

I have problems I select English but later it changed back to another language I cant read I think it needs to save the selected language in the settings and always remember to use it I am a beginner and it is a good program for practicing It plays much better than I do Language keeps changing

This App does NOT work on iPad cannot put stones on board Does NOT work on iPad

The app has a really pleasant interface It turned out to be an adequate opponent and Im not a beginner although Im neither a master The interface is indeed English if the player chooses the language properly My only concern is with the way the program handles a move After choosing a position the program zooms in on that place so we loose the global perspective For an average player this is not a problem since we need to remember the structure of the board anyway but I can imagine that it can distress a beginner Pleasant experience

Okay Im a big fan of Go But for some reason I cant win a game in this against the computer No matter how many times it passes it wont resign When I pass it says that I resign when Im not Please fix this I would love to play this more often so I can give my husband a challenge with our home board Weirdness
