Really nice simple app that is worth the price But I really would like the ability to tip on the pretax amount then take the tax into account when splitting              Great App But

I have looked for a tip calculator for awhile and for less than the price of some songs now I found more than I couldve expected I dont regret the 099 and wouldve paid 5 times that for this app It is CLEAR EASY TO USE has a neat fun looking presentation that is not cluttered it is EASILY and WIDELY ADJUSTABLE to different situations ie multiple people splitting a bill in the settings section of the phone you can subtract the tipping on tax or I just input the bill in the app pretax you can choose to split the bill however many ways you want 1234 etc you can choose the tip on the amount you enter and change that ie input a bill of say 67 and input that you want to tip 18 and it will tell you You can then split that bill further among multiple people if youd like too For those who want something more when the bills are not even splits you can calculate the overall bill total with tip and split it however many ways then you will have an option to make adjustments if you split the bill 4 ways you can INDIVIDUALLY make adjustments over each seperate four parts of the bill the app makes sure that the bill will still always total what it should so that you dont come up short or drastically overpay either When independentally adjusting the bill it is also adjusting the of the tip as well So if someone ordered a bunch of drinks or a much more expensive meal you can take care of it But for the majority of the time you can use a straight even splitting feature I use this App all the time for things like tipping on my haircuts and other situations by adjusting up the of tip for my hairstylist and down for other things you customarily tip less on A TRULY INVALUABLE APP                 This is without a doubt THE BEST app I have paid for

How do you use the tax on feature              Nice app

IME many tip programs dont show both the tip amount the total amount I had a hard time finding one that did for my Palm TX Most either show the tip amount or the total you still have to calculate the other amount whats the point of that I was afraid Id have the same problem finding a tipper for my iPhone but I quickly found this one It even lets you round updown and split the check This is a great app I keep it on my home page                 Great app I use it at least a couple times a week

If you go out and eat with your friends often Get this app because it will save you and your friends tons of time and frustration The new update added more features so its a must get                 Very useful app

I tried a few others and this one I like the most Other tip calculators like to use slider for tip percentage which is very cumbersome because you keep sliding your finger back and forth to get precisely where you want it This Tip Calculator follows Apples interface spec and is easier to select and scroll through tip percentage Also it memorizes the last tip percentage you selected unlike others Another feature I like is tip round up which you can setup inside the preference to make it permanent This is a welcome feature for those restaurants accept only cash or if you decide to leave cash tip                 The best tip calculator so far

The only option this app lacks is the ability to calculate sales tax     Lacks Sales Tax

This is a great concept a very cute app however it does not calculate the correctly It was off by 118 Ill be sticking to my calculator     Not accurate at all save your money

I cant update this app from my iPhone 5S I can update from iTunes computer after sync via cable to iPhone it still wont update on my iPhone 5S Very strange Ive never seen this before Love this app and use it for years Even the old not updatable version of this app works great                 Cant update 3 2015 Chicago

I have had this app for almost two year and I love it BUT I want to know why they took away the poor good great in the tip roller It helps SO much I would like it back please              Why change it

Worthless for me If two out of three people order wine you have to use another calculator to determine who pays what A better app was SplitCheck which is no longer available     Split check feature incomplete

I like this app because of the split feature but I also like the ease of being able to raise and lower the tip amount to be included                 Best app for tipping

Version 112 is perfect for me It allows you to round the tip or round the total and you can exclude tax for tip calculation purposes by entering the tax percentage You get to the Preferences settings by clicking the info i button where you can set these two features You can split the bill then change the split values for each of the splits I suppose you could ask for the calculator to should you the tax amount rather than just the total but thats not a value that you can control anyway                 Perfect

Add a feature to tip on pretax and then add tax into the total before splitting the bill Also add a feature that can breakdown a bill that is not split evenly For example I went out with friends and we all ordered diffrent things so it is not fair to split the bill and we were forced to have only one bill Adjust the app so i can calculate my orders tip and tax and my friends separately Whenever this is done this app will serve my every need It was time consuming to calculate everything yesterday to get the correct breakdown Ot made some laugh at me using this app Please help           Suggestion to improve app

Ive used over 10 different tip calculators and hands down the best Ive been using this for months I really like the ability to adjust each persons bill amount for those times that everyone wants to pay their amount and their tip amount Easy to use without all the gadget feel that some tip calculators have                 The BestEasy Flexible

When I got this phone this was one of the fist apps I downloaded its easy and quick to use I love that you can easily split the bill as well My BF is soo jealous                 Best Tip Calc EVERRRRR

Beautiful interface I love the sketchy design The only thing I wish they would improve is the adjustments slider It seems to only let you go up or down in increments of 1 to that persons total rather than their pretip meal and I find it rather tricky to use It would be extremely nice if they could perhaps offer an alternate dropdown menu or numerical input option add or subtract whatever or even nicer if you had the option to put in the item amounts per person as some other apps allow As it is having to look at the bill add up roughly what everyone owes and then calculating adjustments okay so bobs entree was 5 more than sues and he had a 6 dessert but sue had a 4 drink that Betty didnt have is more work than just entering the cost of the items they ordered would be That said only a couple apps offer Dutch style bill splitting and no one seems to have perfected it yet Other than that issue this app is one of the most aesthetically pleasing tip calculators out there              Better splitting options 5 stars

I downloaded this app yesterday and used it for the first time today It was a snap to use even dividing the total between 3 parties First I programmed in my state sales tax after clicking on the i on the second screen and selected the tip percentage I wanted to leave You only have to do this once unless you decide to reset your options The app automatically took the tip from the PRETAX total then showed everything added together When I told it to divide it between 3 parties it did that perfectly too I HIGHLY recommend this app and would not want to be without it now that Ive used it                 Quick Easy and Thorough

Likes simple interface ales it quick and easy to use when out Dislikes the tax is not on the front screen its on a configuration page using the sliders can lead to overunder the total bill amount which does not make sense              Meets the basics simple and easy to use

Best tip calculator fir sure This is of one the apps that have always stayed on the first page and not inside a folder However please update the icon to support the retina display The pixelated icon does not do justice to the quality of the app              Icon update please

No complaints here I tried other tip calcs but this one is by far the easiestsimple to use Recommended                 It does a great job

This is the nicest looking tip calculator out there as of right now I tried a number of them but must havent been optimized for the larger screen of recent iPhones This one simple and optimized And it is free I highly recommended it                 Really Nice Tip Calculator

Best feature is to edit the individual amount But unfortunately it programmed badly and it is not accurate When u start adjusting each persons amount the grand total at the bottom of the app displays proper amount but the actual calculation is way off Each time i tested out with different bill amount Id adjust the each split bill amount then manually add adjusted each numbers on the calculator and its always lower by 15 short or over than what grand total claims it is on bottom of screen Its never the same amount once you start adjusting Hope this is fixed as it is the only reason I use this app I tried all settings in terms of rounding not rounding When not rounding amount was often lower by 13 When rounding tip total came out about more than 4     Individual amount adjuster is totally inaccurate

Very easy and fast adjustments of variables and good UI design For future versions I would love to be able to imput the tax so that a person can find out a tip pretax yes I have friends who will only tip a percentage before taxes are allowcated              Great little app

OK I know its not often you would need to split a check more than 30 ways but it DOES happen I tried to use this the other day and ran into this Not sure what the point would be to do that other than assumptions by the developer Also when going into the preferences it hangs often        30 people limit

When I first got thus app it worked fine Now when I move the bars eventually at the bottom it tells me I am 1900 over This does not make sense              Best tip app has a problem
