Notes+ (WiFi sync with Mac and PC)

Great note app needs hyperlink capability I use this app for customer info when I enter a phone number it would be great if I could just touch the number and it would dial Please add this feature              Needs hyperlinking

Well I totally loved this app until yesterday when my iPhone had a failure and I had to restore to factory settings Apparently Notes is not included in my iPhone backup and I LOST ALL MY PASSWORDS Thanks but no thanks     Lost Everything during Restore

Do not buy this app or upgrade yet I had the previous version pretty good I upgraded for the new sync functionality it just isnt up to par Firstly if you have any locked notes and you sync with your desktop Mac you cannot lock the notes on your desktop They are unlocked Second after the first sync the sync process no longer worked The first time it set up a network and everything was good all my notes appeared on my desktop app When I next changed some notes on the desktop app and tried to sync again not part of the iPhone normal sync process you need to click a separate sync button on the iPhone screen in the app it simply says its trying to connect to a server and nothing happens You cant reload the app to fix the problem and so far the company has refused to give me a workaround or any solution If you try and reset up the app you get a message saying its in use and nothing happens Now I have 2 sets of notes one on my iPhone and one on my desktop both are separate and cant be synced The one response I got from the company related to the securitylocking issue was completely unintelligible I asked the company for a fix on the sync issue and they so far not responded Beware     Notes 201

Now that the last update has been released the program is working just fine I use the progam often           Excellent

This ap is exactly what Apple should have included instead of their joke of a notes ap I started using a notes function way back in the 90s on my Palm Pilot That ap way very good and synched with my PC perfectly This one does as well and has category functions like I need and the ability to create notes and edit them from my PC or my iPhone After the Apple ap I tried a couple other bad ones before finding this one Glad I did Very happy with it                 Love it

I agree with everyone elses reviews that this by far is the best notes application I love the lowkey yet efficient locked notes feature Ive tried other applications where your secret notes arent really secret locked notes are still listed in plan view To me that defeats the purpose of it being a secret Ive used Notes for my ICE In Case of Emergency notes and banking info So for obvious reasons I prefer my notes to stay hidden for anyone who might be nosing through my ipod To the creator of this application PLEEEEASE release a new version Ive been patiently waiting for one since I first downloaded this last Christmas Improvements It would be awesome if you could add a Lock Orientation feature and different fonts to choose from Thanks              Highly recommend this app

Notes Plus Great idea seemed to be the perfect app for us Palm users from the early 90s with the ability to ProtectLock individual MEMOS then sync them to a desktop PC I like the layout features of Notes Plus BUT IF it does not sync Why Bother I read the notes confirmed that Bluetooth was off even disabled all firewalls and my PC security features to troubleshoot Still Wont Sync PLEASE HELP I sent an email to support 3 days ago still no reply still No Progress I Do want this to work its as close as any other app that us former Palm users were used to from 20 some years ago Why doesnt Apple have a simple NotesMemo app that protectslocks and then Syncs with your desktop to add delete modify any memo AND THEN SYNC Palm was doing that since at least 1991 Cmon Apple        WONT SYNC using new iPhone4s PC

Im an old Palm user Id still use my Palm based Garmin iQue3600 but it is no longer being manufactured and eventually it is going to die What to do I bought an Itouch I really do like it ButNo notes sync Or limited notes sync if you use Outlook Why would anyone use Outlook I just wanted a simple note program and sync the notes to my computer I looked at several Some required an online account Then I looked at this one It has all the simplicity I was looking for and synced with my computer with a free desktop application No fancy bells and whistles Just does its job Notes on both the Itouch and desktop Perfect                 Perfect

I just started using this and I love it It has everything I need I wanted a note application with a landscape mode and a security feature I looked at many different applications and settled on this one and Im glad I did This is definately worth the money If youre considering a new note taking application consider this one its awesome                 Best Note Application

Ive used the Palm system in one form or another since 2000 and one of my main concerns in switching was the lack of an easy memo function This solves that The program is great I had trouble syncing at first but it was my fault since I didnt watch the video on the website Its so easy Open Notes on the desktop first then open on the phone Hit the sync button on the phone and thats it Perfect Easily one of most useful apps It has categories and security which are important for me This is my first paid app and I will definitely buy more apps that function this well                 Coming from the Palm this is perfect

Been using this app for many months and never had a problem syncing with my PC It works great and secure with passwords set on both my iPhone and PC                 Replaces Palm Memos

As a transitioning Palm user I was skeptical that I would be able to find a program that would fill the Memos role in my iPod Touch This does the job nicely The only downside is the transfer of the old memos to this program To do this I exported my memos from Palm Desktop to my desktop in a Tab Return format This I was able to import into NoteSpark will great ease It converts the info to a CSV format But since NoteSpark doesnt have the ability to secure sensitive info as well as this info was webbased I kept looking I exported the memos from NoteSpark to my desktop now they were all in CSV format I opened this file in Excel and then I had to individually copy the body of the memo to the new memo in Notes The nice features are the desktop companion dont need web access to backsync and the ability to secure your sensitive information I was a bit nervous about this when I first checked it out my email got kicked back to me from Japan But there are full instruction in the app under the settings Definitely a keeper                 Nice

This software is what I was looking for to move data to and from my mac I could not get it to sync at first and the online help wasnt very The problem was my mac is firewalled and would not talk to my ipod The solution was to go to the advanced area of the firewall tab and allow communication with the Notes program To enable sync between iPod and Macbook goto System Preferences in the Personal area click on Security Under the Firewall tab the Firewall should be ON click on Advanced Un Check Block all incoming connections Click on Automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections Select Notesapp from the Applications list and Allow incoming connections Click on OK and close out System Preferences Good luck This is a terrific little program                 Great app but needed help to sync with macbook

This will not sync with iPhone nor is there customer service I want a refund and it should be taken out of the apple store A waste of money     Not worthy of apple store

I dont know what the others are talking about about it being broken cause it works fine for me One thing I noticed is the last version had a highres icon and this one went back to the old regular lowres icon Thats pretty lame so bring back the retina icon This is the only icon on my 1st home screen that looks like crap now so change it back please             

For my needs the critical feature of this program is that it is supposed to synchronize with my desktop and I can create or edit notes on either my iphone or desktop and synch them I have been unable to make this work on my home wifi network or my wifi network at my workplace There are no settings that can be editited so if they are not correct you cannot change them The documentation is VERY rudimentary and in broken English so not much help there Im trying to contact their support email Without synchronization this is dead to me     I cannot make this sync

Stone simple reliable incredibly easy to synch on phone Mac iPad Just a click and the notes are synched over Wifi super easy No excess useless bells and whistles to get in the way just plain easy notes sorted by name or topic now finally searchable yay A great way to track all those little tidbits including passwords and other flotsam and jetsam that clutters up the mind Security available too But the key is ease of use              Notes

This was the perfect app to replace what I had been doing on my Palm for years under the Memo feature I can organize my notes or memos by any name I want and it synced perfectly with my PC running Windows 7 Thanks SEPV I can finally retire my Palm Zire and keep all on my iPhone                 Just what I was looking for

I purchased this app for the landscape typing mode and the spacing works well with thumbs The program is simple to use and provides security email and searching I recommend this to anyone wanting something more than the itouch notes app Its worth the 2 bucks              Worth 2 bucks

This program has been fixed and now works properly It provides the functionality that was missing on the ipod Touch You can have notes that sync with a PC and that can be saved on your home computer or laptop The notes are easy to edit and can be password protected A few weeks ago the program was updated to version 22 which CRASHED immediately on the 3rd generation Touch units The program has been fixed twice and now operates great Thanks              The newest fix now works ok

I had a problem and attempted to contact the company that developed the app and have not received a response Multiple attempts to make contact have gone unanswered I absolutely LOVED this app It was perfect I used notes to store personal information I do NOT want on the cloud so this app solved my problem But then I discovered a problem that everyone who uses this will experience in the near future Then we will all have an app that does not work and no response from the company that wrote it     No longer supported

The new version synchs easily with my MacMini and the program itself is simple and intuitive allowing for good productivity The price is right You really cant go wrong at least with the Mac version Two suggestions for future versions 1 As a preference allow the user to set the category so it comes up automatically the next time the user starts the application Right now the default is to open under All but it would be nice to give the user an option such as Start with last category open or Start with xxx category as preferences 2 When creating a new note in a category set the default category for the new note as the same category the user is already in instead of defaulting to unfiled Its a nifty piece of software                 Great value for the price
