This app seems like its wanting to be more socially interactive than giving straight scores I dont want to interact with people when I just want to check scores I dont want to have to scroll through comment after comments when trying to get updates on matches Just give me scores player info etc Social app or tennis
Lots better than last year Easy to find info but needs to be interactive Should be able to get from Draws page for example to Scores for that match Very Good
Take a leaf out of the Wimbledon book It was a great app this one is a mess Not real user friendly and challenging to navigate Aweful
App crashes doesnt refresh especially in the live scores section Very Buggy
A vast improvement from last years with easy access to everything happening in Flushing Meadows Sections are easy to get through except the Draws and Scores which have a translucent quality that makes them hard to read It also lacks the cool interactivity we love from the Wimbledon app like 360 views of the main courts and a map of the grounds The Slamtracker is a cool addition though GOOD BUT NEEDS MORE IMPROVEMENTS
I think this app is very smooth and to the point Pros not filled with junk and extras scores and schedule that is it I love the match stats you can click on and keep scrolling down to see other matches the practice schedule is very cool too Not in New York but its neat seeing who practices with who and at what time Cons the dark blue letters on the dark gray background make it hard to see but otherwise the best slam app Ive ever used I didnt even bother using the French open or Aussie open apps they were so bad lol Loving this app
Seems like a mostly dysfunctional application No video highlights or any video content available the day before the mens final Mostly broken app
Everything working great when I make selections from the many choices But not being able to turn closed captioning off when I watch on iPad is annoying I loose a lot of the picture to the captioning Please fix before Open is over Closed captioning wont turn off
Great app I am really enjoying it Live video streams are fabulous multicourt action allows you to choose which match to watch nice schedule its just great I wish all the majors had apps like this one Superlative Fantastic
Once it freezes during esurance commercial which I came to hate there is not a thing you can do Keeps freezing during commercial
Worked for 1 hour and then stopped updating and the scores stopped changing Horrible
I used to love this app You could watch any game on any court via live streaming This year however we are forced to download the ESPN app for the live streaming Unfortunately it stopped working today maybe too many sports games for their servers to handle all the streaming I could only try to get scores from the US OPEN app which failed to recognize my wifi connection today It wasnt the connection since I can stream Other live video I was unable to view or get info on any of todays matches and I shudder to think how disappointing it will be to have to rely on this doubleapp setup for the final matches Whydid you have to ruin a good thing The Shaft US Open App Style

What the hell is wrong with IBM The scores arent live the app doesnt update it crashes all the time as is typical for all these IBM tennis apps and yet they continue to pump out these pathetic attempts Once again Ill have to rely on ESPN for scores and news Unfortunately that means having to mute the TV so I dont have to listen to the arrogant Brad Gilbert go on and on about how he knows it all Once again IBM blows it
Loving this new dashboard I got news scores a some social Cant wait for live video to start Looking forward to another great US Open
This app is a great resource I understand the other user complaints about ESPN but since I usually watch via the ESPN app I love the integration Also great to be able to get the scores schedule and player info all in one place Great resource

Why did they bother to publish this Awkward interface makes it clunky to access and no live video worth watching Totally useless
What a sad example for a major event The highlight videos are 50 commercials with virtually nothing worth watching in between There is no live video at all Last year really WAS a fluke This year youre directed to download the ESPN App to watch matches but it doesnt work unless you have a cable subscription Why not make the matches available as a separate subscription Amateur hour from the big apple Awful

I am not able to get any sound when playing the live stream or videos I have no trouble getting sound from other streaming apps I am using an iPad 2 was this tested with older iPads The video looks fine so you wouldnt expect sound to be a problem The layout of the app is quite nice But what I most wanted was to be able to watch the Open when it was only broadcast on the tennis channel which is not available in my area Good layout but no sound really
Definitely not up to par with other sports event apps out there App is slow buggy and generally not well laid out Lots of bugs
Wont load schedule Crashes repeatedly Quite a frustration when all I want to find out are the scores and upcoming schedule Crashes and wont load
Refresh does not work well or fast Cannot see bios or link to players or show how the history of the two players did like in the wtaatp app Worst app Needs a lot of improvements

Useless Cant open the womens draw page
Fingertips are not mouse pointers The interface looks the same as a PC interface It looks good and sharp But navigation is not designed for fingers The transition from one page to another is slow The interviews are a joke You can barely hear anything Im sure it will be better next year Needs work
Used to be able to watch livethat was awesome Cant this year because they decided to let ESPN and cable companies run the show So you have to download another app and have expensive cable to watch something But if you have cablethen why do you need this app then The finals will be on basic so bye US Open app They sold their soul to ESPN and Comcast

App is INCREDIBLY slow to load and navigate Cluttered with a ton of junk Id never use Makes the app very slow to load and changing pages very slow Means I rarely use it Slow and Hard to Navigate
Home page needs rework Too much clutter not presented well While watching video the sub titles wont turn off The font size is so big it blocks the experience Uninstalling Its an okay app
When theres no broadcast TV coverage ESPN or CBS I love being able to watch any match from any court LIVE through the app Its refreshing to watch without commentary and with no commercial interruptions too You really feel like you are there But its not perfect Stopping and starting makes the screen freeze up continuous watching streams just fine Your mileage may vary depending on your broadband connection Love the video streaming feature
Has a lot of potential to be an excellent way to follow the US Open The main issue I have is that it freezes often in the Esurance ad that starts the live match coverage There seems to be no way to deal with this except to keep trying and hope one gets lucky eventually Freezes
Kludgy and disappointing for a major grand slam tournament It cant begin to compare in utility and ease of use to the Wimbledon app which is stellar The schedule is way behind the play not accurately listing in progress and completed matches Needs a substantial upgrade Very Disappointing

This app is pretty much useless I end up going to the full website every time The only time this worked well for me was beginning of the day looking at schedule before play begins Once play begins you cannot even tell which matches are in progress No streaming And the dumb fan Twitter feed Useless If I wanted that Id go on Twitter I would much prefer professional commentary and analysis Underwhelming app in every way
Great to have live streaming but wheres the calendar of events even in iPhone version has a calendar Okay but
Even the section of still photos is buggy Photographers are not credited no thumbnail view photos are not cropped and there is no option to hide caption overlay We should be tackling bigger issues My favorite part The Players noir galleries This is where you can see many of the same photos but now in black and white Groundbreaking Did you see our photos Want to look at them again in black and white
