12C Lite RPN Business Calculator

Hard to go wrong with this app It can do everything I know how to do on a 12c plus it can email me an amortization table unlike the real thing                 Love it like having my 12c with me

This is an update to my previous review I had given it 5stars bc it was free and I knew that some bugs keys not responding would be fixed Well they fixed the key issue but added the status bar When does a person need to know how many bars they have or is in desperate need of the time while doing bond calculations In the latest update they fixed the Welcome Screen but now the button issue is back Once again the buttons do not respond well to the touch The status bar is still there and why dont they put the website logo in the 12c logo are instead of taking more calculator room On top of the button issue they are now charging 199 for the lite version I would give this a 1star but I did get it for free and it does what expected but I still do not like the idea that this no longer has the calculator feel to it as well as the continual button issue Fix these problems and Ill buy the full version Until then I will wait for other applications to capitalize on these issues        Disappointed

I wanted a 12C that I could use for my practice exams for the CFA exam This one is perfect Im not going to be a hard core user of this calc but for the basics it looks and functions great              Great 12C imitation

Lose the ugly distracting logo of the cartoon guy on the keyboard Earlier version better                 A Classic

Great app be sure to check the default mode when peforming time value functions The default is in end mode not begin mode Some calculations will display different outputs in different modes For example my real 12C calc was set to Begin mode when I originally tried to compare calculations When I switched the 12C Lite to Begin mode as well the outputs were the same as the original calc This is a great application and I look forward to more from RLM All other financial calcs seem to be working great here                 My initial review was incorrect The calculator does compute correct s

Does everything a 12c is supposed to do except the programming only without the delay of the real thing I have been using it for a year without any problems Higly recommended                 Version 22

The HP 12C has been the only calculator I have consistently used for over 20 years This calc App is a perfect match to the real thing as far as Im concerned and I use it all the time It has mimiced the look and feel just right If you want a RPN calculator this is the best solution I have ever found                 I love this App

is anyone else having issues with button sensitivity since the last update it have been far less responsive than before on my 4s and is becoming a huge annoyance           button sensitivity

This calculator gives completely innaccurate results given the assumption that it is modeled after the 12c I would not recommend it Go buy a more expensive option     Just simply wrong

Nice app but would be nice if it rotated the same direction as Safari 12C rotates counterclockwise safari rotates clockwise The wrong answer problem MUST get fixed           Rotates wrong direction

Really nice app Just a couple of things to improve it Make the buttons better hard to press which makes it annoying change the icon it just looks bad and add acelerometer functionality like the normal calculator that comes with the iPhone or iPod touch           Nice

The app is good but the splash screen and the new icon are so terrible that Im going to delete the app if theyre not remedied in a future update           New icon needs to go

Nice app but displaying the status bar in the wrong orientation is just well wrong Maybe it fixes the problem the previous version had with the leftmost 20 pixels not responding but it is NOT the proper fix IMO              Visible status bar

This app works great for me I do financial planning every day in my career and use the TVM functions of this calculator several times a day It has never failed me yet The only problem Ive ever had with it is when I use it while Im on a call and it pushes some of the bottom of the screen out of view This Im sure is simple to fix I assume a lot of the bad reviews have come from people who didnt really know how to run a 12C in the first place Its a little different from a regular calculator inputwise FYI                 Works great as expected

This really is a wonderful app but the icon is one of the ugliest Ive seen on the whole app store I may move it to a folder just for the ugly icon For App Icons usually simplicity and elegance rule and this one bites the dust              Great App horrible icon

This is a fantastic app that I have used since the first version The developer does a good job keeping the app up to date and has considerably improved it over time I have been using a 12c since 1983 and I can say unequivocally that this app is a significant improvement For one thing I always have it with me And even though this is an emulator it runs much faster Finally is a 1 star review really necessary because the icon is ugly How about emailing the developer and expressing your feelings nicely about that icon Anyone who took the time to ding this fine product because of the icon really should be ashamed of themselves You are only reinforcing the stereotype of the shallow iPhone owner more concerned about style than substance Really folks time to take a look in the mirror and get a life                 To Icon haters get a grip

Keyboard is quite slow You have to double check to make sure the key has been captured Becomes frustrating Im erasing it after stoping using it     Keyboard is unreliable

Dont pay attention to the bad reviews complaining about the icon and logo It was changed months ago and it tons better The key response issue was fixed and this calculator is a great buy if you only need the limited functions such as NPV An Algebra function would have been nice but Im not really complaining for only 2 Compare this to the 20 version from another developer that has slightly more features                 Great product great price

This app does everything my old 12c does and looks just like it without the scratches Great app at a great price works fine on my 4s I like that you can view the registers works in portrait and landscape and quick                 Works Great

The application itself is fine but the new icon is hard to find and impossible to read on my iPhone It looks like it was designed for this page in the iTunes store And the splash screen is a waste of time you dont need to market to people who already have the app     Please please please change the Icon

Installed onto iPhone 5 Tried to perform simple compound equation and got crazy answers     Absolute crap

Everything is great with the app except for the new icon update on 30 I use this app practically every day for my practice but the new icon is ugly The app is on my main screen and I have to look at the ugly icon every glance at my phone Please update the icon preferably using the old one but retina it              Great Appbut

I have used the Fin 12C clone for years but with my upgrade to a 5 it didnt restore since it isnt in the App Store anymore This app appears to emulate the HP 12C well so far but come on developers learn your audience As others have stated the icon is lousy the flash cartoon is outrageous as is the cartoon head in the logo on the app screen Business professionals are using this app and its embarrassing to let someone see you use it Again learn who your audience is and fix the silliness           Good emulation but

They locked it out this version no matter what they say loses RPN even though the keys arent labeled as such the screen and mode is stuck in algebraic What used to be one of the best 12c emulators has gone away too bad I want the last version back please     DO NOT UPGRADE if you want RPN

I have used this calculator app from the first version Always liked that the icon looked like an actual HP12C Dont understand why the developer changed it to the ugliest icon of all 300 apps that I own The app itself Id rate five stars Deduct two stars for splash screen and ugly icon           Please change the icon
