I love this soundtrack                 Amazing

Man of steel amazing spiderman 2 and with likely more to come this seems like a great new way to listen to soundtracks I personally think the app as album concept has more to offer and I wish more composers would do this Imagine this kind of app and sonic experience for Tyler Bates guardians of the galaxy score or Alexander Desplats Godzilla Meantime what Id like to see in the future for these apps is consistent purchase options you can but the whole album for man of steel but not amazing spiderman 2 Also there should be a desktop based version where you can restore purchases and play from your Mac computer to you Apple TV and thus a sound system This would require DTS headphone x to so 111 simulated sound for 51 or 71 home theater systems so itll be sometime before that part of it could become reality Would also like to see links to purchase the mp3 versions from iTunes and album art download files if the desktop version could exist Last thing when I bought the man of steel cd it cue with a download code for the whole album in this app The app had a challenge with the downloads and I contacted z for support They were hands down the most friendly customer service oriented people Ive ever corresponded with over an app They have business as long as theyre around                 The future of soundtracks for audiophiles

The idea of the HeadphoneX technology looks very promising if implemented correctly at the very first demos I dont like to have to download multiple instaces of the same Z Player for different sound tracks The player should be the same instance for all soundtracks I had to download one for Rush and another for Man of Steel Not good Beside that the sound is good Something I would like to see in future tracks is more surround effects on the music instruments I can not feel the surround effects in the actual music with the same emphasis as in the demo Hans Zimmers voice calling out the positions For exmaple the drums toms could be completely hard panned panned to the left left front height right front heith right respectively                 Multiple Instances

FirstIf you are having trouble with downloading the music email customer support My download code didnt work and customer support was right on top of it emailing me several times with fixes to make sure it went well Do not give this app a negative review without working with customer support first As for the sound the Man of Steel soundtrack is incredible through this app Z makes my apple inear headphones sound so much better I cant wait to properly try this with my Sennheiser HD 555                 Amazing sound incredible customer service

I was having trouble getting my voucher code that I got from the Man of Steel deluxe album to work So I contacted the supporthelp people and the emailed me a new voucher that worked Most apps wouldnt help a customer out like that so I was so pleased when they gave me a new code Plus the sound on this app is incredible I love it                 Amazing

when i first downloaded this app and put in the code had problems not getting all the songs deleted the app and tried to restore my purchases which didnt work when i emailed the support i got a response back in less than a day and was told they would look into it figured that would be the last that i heard within 2 days had a response back and was able to download all the songs and it works like a dream all i have to say is customer service was above and beyond what i expected and the app works great now if i didnt have their other apps already i would pic them up too                 problems at first but quickly resolved

The sound on this app continues to drop out or pop so much so I cant listen to this anymore I hope one day they fix it so I can listen to it uninterrupted        Sounds great for a couple of seconds

This app is the best way to listen to the man of steel soundtrack The sound envelopes you within its circle as it was intended to I hope they release more of zimmers work in future updates Warning Individual songs must be purchased unless I think you own the music on iTunes                 The Best Version Of Man Of Steel

I love this new technology Music sounds fantastic Tech support was very helpful with a problem I had I knock it down to 4 stars for it not being able to remember the voucher code for downloading on a future iPhone              Pretty great

UPDATE Z support sent me a new code and the initial download issue seems to be resolved but there is still no way to backup redownload or otherwise preserve these tracks If you want to keep these tracks you have to keep 400mb of music on your phone forever and hope it never gets deleted or corrupted Would not have bought the MoS deluxe edition if I had known how crippled by DRM this was Original review I redeemed the code for the Man of Steel DTS tracks was only able to get 7 of the 24 tracks to download so I deleted reinstalled and pressed restore purchases Nothing not even the 7 tracks I was able to download Went to the site to reenter my code and it says one use only Worthless Fix this        Fixed download issue but still no way to restore music

This soundtrack sounds significantly better through this app but I had trouble migrating the music to my new iPhone I have contacted Z and they agreed to send me a new code I sent them a copy of my old insert that came with the CD and will wait for them to get back to me I hope this becomes a new standard quality and integrates with other music clients on my phonecomputer              Contact Customer Support for Replacement Code

Like many people here I too had the problem with the voucher where only a couple of the tracks downloaded However I urge people who have had this problem to contact customer support I received an initial response from them within a day problem occured on Tuesday heard back on Wednesday received a solution on Friday and today they gave me instructions on how to achieve a download and a new voucher code and recommendations of what to do if there continue to be problems The reason for my two stars is that in the course of my back and forth with Customer Support it was emphathized to me that the voucher code is only good once if your device breaks and you get a new one there is nothing in place that would allow you to transfer these tracks to the new device If the app ever freezes and needs to be deleted the tracks are lost and there is no way to recover Through the purchase of the deluxe edition CD I have purchased the right to listen to the music through this app That that right goes away should anything ever happen to my device or the app strikes me as a ripoff Until the developers link the voucher purchase to your iTunes account the way the inapp purchase would be I cannot give this app a better review There is simply too much risk here of loss here and one that I am not at all happy to be taking on        Voucher Limits

The song skips when I enterexit the app           Sounds great but a little buggy

I had to restore my phone this morning I wasnt worried about losing my songs in the app because I noticed the restore purchases button at the bottom of the app Well after restoring my phone I clicked that button in the app and nothing happened It asked for my Apple ID but when I put that in literally nothing happened This is very disappointing because I honestly only bought the Deluxe Version of the soundtrack just for this and now I cant even access it I have tried emailing support well see what happens I will change my rating if they help me     Wont Let me Restore Purchases

This is a great way to listen to the music from man of steel Crisp clear and you can hear every instrument like you are right there All songs downloaded for me but the only strange thing is if you listen to a track and let it continue to the next one it will play a different song but still show the next track For me its best just to select them one by one and the sound is awesome                 Great sound

Same as other people Wouldnt download all the songs Reinstalled app and music didnt restore If you try it and it doesnt download all the songs dont reinstall or you will lose what you did get UPDATE Contacted customer support and they responded promptly with apologies and a new download code Now I have all the music working properly Changed my rating from one star to four              Wont download wont restore got good support

Better than most movie theaters with the right headphones Sounds better than the CD Well worth the price Dynamic deep sound Has to be heard to be believed And an amazing score on top of that                 Words can not describe how amazing it sounds

I was able to download the music but cuts in and out when music is played Restored purchase did not help either I can only listen to about 510 seconds before each song is interrupted or cut off Very annoying Ended up copying music into iTunes and syncing it to my iPhone        Work in progress

The initially offered MOS soundtrack does indeed sound fantastic Its truly a revolutionary breakthrough in audio technology BUT you have to buy tracks andor albums specifically via the app Between CDs Ive ripped and music Ive purchased through iTunes Ive developed a rather large library if I do say so myself with well over 16000 separate tracks and growing While I understand only music that has been specially coded for Z will work I think that very fact will also limit its success I just dont like the idea of having to buy proprietary music Music that can only be played from within the app and I seriously doubt a great many others will as well I think thats a major strike against it Its just a shame the technology wasnt developed more along the lines of a plugin or EQ setting As amazing as it sounds in its current configuration I can only score it two stars        Fantastic sound combined with a severe limitation IMO

I was excited to download this app I have experienced many of the problems listed and must have been one of the first to submit a review I also emailed the app makers for support I received a response asking me a few questions I received new detailed instructions today and am happy to report that my app works great and everything downloaded correctly Thanks for great customer service                 Excellent

It sounds amazing but it only let me download one song out of all the songs I got from the Deluxe Man Of Steel Soundtrack What a rip off It needs to update and fix the bug     Wont let me download my purchases

Like many people I downloaded the app and put in my voucher code Downloaded half the songs and they sounded great went to download the rest and couldnt After having multiple problems trying to get the download to work and support trying to figure things out they gave me a new code and I was able to download the album once more in its entirety I recommend doing a backup to your computer immediately after the download to ensure that the app backs up the components correctly Great sound I just cant get enough                 Great sound but too many bugs

Sounds like every other virtual surround sound Ive ever encountered     Not impressed

DTS Technology is absolutely amazing It feels like your headphones are actually a room of speakers Fantastic job guys I am really blown away by this Its fun to tap the album cover to see the difference with the DTS on and off                 Amazing

I had issues at first downloading all of the tracks via my voucher code from the limited edition CD purchase but I emailed Z support and they responded quickly and had a solution for me within a day or two They couldnt have been more helpful The app is a great addon for any hardcore soundtrack collector and provides a new experience like never before Would like to see more soundtracks released like this              Problems at first but solved in a timely manner

Like many people obsessed enough with music and sound quality to enjoy this concept I use an external headphone amp fed from the lineout of my iOS device This app thinks Im not using headphones and disables the dts output Please correct this           Cool app make it work with external amps

I too had an issue keeping downloads When I first used my voucher code all of the songs loaded to my phone but then disappeared I tried to use the restore in apps purchases but that did not work Im giving this app 5 stars though because I contacted the developer about the issue and they responded back in about a day with a NEW redemption code Hopefully itll work I havent tried the new code yet but the developer seems to respond quickly if there are issues                 Lost Downloads

There needs to be a fix for the code I entered the code and got the surround tracks yay I had to reset my iPhone and when I did I lost the tracks because my most recent backup didnt include the data from this app There really should be an option to redownload the tracks I paid for them and now cant even enjoy them     SMH

Initially couldnt import or listen to the deluxe soundtrack Would be cool if they gave some instructions on how to go about opening the album in the app Was initially disappointed but support did eventually help resolve my problem so Im upping my rating from a 1 to a 3           Trouble with the app but good support

The update only added a promotional link and does not fix the playback clicking and the redemption issue        Still no improvement

So did I miss an easy step to have the DTS X versions of the tracks on my Mac laptop now that they are on my iPhone The music sounds INCREDIBLE on my phone but I dont want to lose the access to them if I upgrade phonesphone is lost etc Is the answer obivous iCloud Thanks                 Sync issue for DTS X

I had initial trouble redeeming my code as other users had Customer support was prompt and resolved my issue promptly and efficiently I am now enjoying the Man of Steel Hans Zimmer experience and it was worth the slight setback Fantastic              Great experience

I downloaded the app as I had a coupon that came with my man of steel CD I downloaded all the songs in the app and listened to some of them The next day when i tried to listen to them again the app showed as if I had not downloaded anything Ive tried to restore my purchases but the app sends an error message Definitely not worth the money if you are able to listen to the tracks once     App downloads only works once

The DTS Headphone X is amazing Gotta hear it and experience it Only downside is that there isnt more content available Looking forward to more releases              Awesome

First off it has to be said that the speaker demo in the app is one of the most spectacular aural experiences Ive heard on headphones which is saying a lot considering its simply Hans Zimmer speaking aloud the names of the speaker channels as theyre tested When you first hear it it surprises you how clearly you can hear Zimmers voice 4 feet to your front left Then four feet to your front right And then when it gets to the left high and right high you can actually hear the difference in height This is all simulated obviously but Ive played it for others and each of them looked around the room at first confused then awed at the clarity and imaging The sound truly exists outside of the headphones The actual music experience is much more subtle No where in any of the tracks that Ive listened to so far does it exhibit the same kind of imaging you hear in the demo The sound has a general spatialness and its nice that the app allows for easily switching the DTS mix on and off by simply tapping the album cover Doing this highlights the differences in sound the straight stereo mix sounds like its inside your head the DTS mix sounds like its wrapped around your head Ironically the aspect that makes this technology impressive is precisely the kind of thing that might turn off other listeners The nature of good surround sound is to obviously surround the listener thus creating a more organic and uniform soundscape A stereo mix is always going to sound more specific with a clearer separation between the channels For those listeners who enjoy aggressive two channel mixes with the sound traveling between the ears DTS Headphone mixes might seem unimpressive or even muddied But for those who enjoy a more spatial and enveloping sound the kind of sound that pushes the music out of your head and into the space around you putting you inside the music instead of the other way around then DTS Headphone is a welcome thing Me personally I cant wait to hear more albums mixed this way                 Audiophiles need to hear this

Im not sure what exactly Leo Laporte found in this app Sounds like any other track I have on my iPod Maybe if you listen in studio headphones youd hear something else Didnt impress me through the stock apple earbuds        Whats all the buzz about

I had a similar problem as many reviewers My device downloaded most but not all of the soundtrack from the code given to me by purchasing the deluxe edition Hitting download on the tracks that did not finish resulted in no change I submitted feedback via the feedback button in the app hoping for an update I got an email from Z support not long after supplying me with a new code and instructions to delete and reinstall the app making sure to download all at once from a wifi connection with my new code No more problems Full soundtrack and awesome support                 Similar problem prompt fix

I was really excited to download this app to listen to the Man of Steel soundtrack in DTS surround Needless to say when my tracks would not download I was pretty disappointed However I contacted the support staff and they responded very quickly and worked non stop to get my problem fixed I have to commend these guys for making it right for the customer A for the customer service B for the app                 Great customer service
