Your Palettes

It just doesnt get any better than this Best color design app out there                 Perfect

I needed a new color app upon finding that my beloved Color Expert app bought back in 2010 no longer sends emails and I spent the last 2 hours becoming more more annoyed at trying to find even a distant substitute for that app This app is not perfect but it seems to come closest However one aspect of this apps email functionality needs to be improved the RGB hex etc values are sent as an image not as actual text The entire reason I wanted email functionality in the first place was to avoid having to hand copy all the hex values and the included swatch files do me no good when Im using Dreamweaver and dont want to have to open Photoshop just to open the swatch file and then open each swatch and copy the color info from there That makes handcopying values from my old app seem convenient by comparison sorry to say even though Im sure the swatches will be great for others who go right into Photoshop or Illustrator But whenever this issue gets solved also would be nice if exports included the original source image Ill return to this app One other smaller quibble creating a blank palette does not in fact create an empty palette as one might expect it creates a grayscale palette So if you actually want an empty palette you then have to go back and delete those grayscale swatches which is irksome but not a dealbreaker           Email export needs improvement otherwise good

Really useful the only thing i dont like is that when you are tweaking the colours it moves through the different tabs too easily and you cant chose where you want to position the crosshair by touching the area of the colour you want              Great app

This app is so well executed and solid that Im giving it five stars even though Ive been in touch with the developer a highly responsive guy with a few suggestions for improving the GUI My search through a dozen or so color palette apps offered in the Store ended here Aesthetically Your Palettes has a nice flat iOS 7 look Functionally it provides skillful use of the limited workspace and an intelligent responsive workflow It deserves further development though frankly not much is needed At a buck this is a nobrainer for anyone looking for a robust well executed color palette app on the iPhone Stands out in a lineup of mediocre clumsy cluttered and in once case overpriced apps that dont do the job nearly as well                 Clean Intelligent BestInClass Potential
