Yamaha Outboards for iPad

The Yamaha outboard app is little more than a simple way to check the warranty status and glance at the maintenance schedule youd already find in the owners manual I expected the ability to interface and log pertinent details but no accommodations for personalizing beyond adding a Serial number is allowed Yamaha took the cheap way out and simply didnt build an app worthy of the products they produce Maybe the senior management at Yamaha will wake up someday and realize an app can be an awesome long term marketing tool As an owner of seven Yamaha motor products an app that would allow me to better track the maintenance on each would truly be helpful Jerry D     Wheres the beef

I am currently in the market for a yamaha 4stroke for my trophy 2002 This app showed up on a Navionics spam mail and promised to give me specs and performance reviews for various boats Did not deliver Drop down boxes say all and will not let me pick a specific model Then when i hit search nothing shows up All the app really does is lets me know dealer locations in my area I have an apple ipad 2     App is crap

Never has worked well in landscape mode if it all Now does not work in anyway shape or form for performance bulletins        Was decent resource
