I m a four six or so gig a week engineer at my venue and I use this app every single gig for a magnitude of methods Mixing the monitor with each musician individually on stage getting an ear for a different spot in the venue and it s a blast for checking a handful of lines in minutes A lot of other sound guys come in with the bigger national bands and they are allowed to mix under my supervision They re always thrilled when I mention I ve got my iPad charged so they can connect and work with their band while I stay on the console then I have them switch and I watch their mix on my iPad It allows me to keep my system under watch while giving the touring engineer space to work It s purely amazing to be able to take your board with you in every step of the venue I ve had little to no bugs despite other reviews keep in mind everyone s experience with any Audio setup may vary and I ve explored nearly every nook and cranny of this app Bussing effects sends compression it s all a blast with a tablet I d definitely recommend it if you are running an X 32                     One of my best pieces of equipment is my iPad now Axel Montiello

This along with the M32 Mix app are the best iPad apps for any digital console on the market I am an audio professional and regularly see the X32 and M32 line of consoles in my work I carry my own routers Belkin N150 inexpensive rock solid great range and easy to navigate and understand GUI and in under a minute I am connected to any X32 or M32 the SR company brings in the line I never have dropouts the lag is inaudible and the layout is concise and wisiwyg to the physical desk Other apps Yamaha CL QL et al Digico Avid etc pale in comparison Those who have given neg reviews clearly have an operator error as I have met no professionals who have anything but praise for this app                     Best digital console app on the market where02190

REVISED REVIEW Wow this app brought our live worship to a complete stand still twice this morning It worked awesome for the first month but out of the blue it glitched and put our sound team in a tail spin You cant imagine how embarrassing it is to bring a live worship experience to a dead stop TWICE There are some things that need to be worked out before this app could ever be a tool for a live environment X32 lost my trust big time I ll be gun shy around this app if they ever get it to work again For now hoping my Macbook Pro will be a more stable platform with this new board     REVISED Not so Awesome App Bob&JoyEvenson

Since the new update of X32 iOS app I cannot connect remotely with my iPad iOS 9 3 5 I will have a live gig tomorrow and I m stuck After 2 hrs try every scenario why it did not work I came up an idea to download X32 Edit on my Mac and voila I was able to control remotely with my MacBook Now I know router console and MacBook worked flawlessly so I tried again with my iPad and the result was still no connection I will be ok to use MacBook for now Please fix the app iPad version Thank you     Cannot connect with iPad RestonGolfer

I am a loyal X32 user I have 4 different consoles along with multiple digital snakes and I use them often I have struggled with this app since the new iOS update as it will not connect to my consoles I have updated the console firmware as well as the router firmware in addition to resetting my network and it still does not work Please provide us with an app update so that loyal customers who support your products can continue to be successful     Needs an update for iOS 10 Mr Redmon

It s hard to believe that in my humble garage studio I could do things that a decade or so ago I probably could not have dreamed of doing at any price The Behringer X 32 mixer is groundbreaking for the home studio owner Combined with a PC the free software and an iPad I can finally spend time making music instead of trying to kluge together a rats nest of pro sumer gear with unpredictable results It integrates seamlessly with my DAW Cakewalk Sonar and sounds fantastic Behringer frequently updates and improves the software and firmware and version 3 0 of X Mix is better than ever It s great to sit back on my couch after a recording session and have full control of all the features of my console The future may have not given us flying cars but I m happy staying home enjoying the benefits of this technology which costs less than a beat up VW and I get to retire my soldering iron                     Game changer Franky Panic

When we first got the x32 we had andriod tablets but was miss alot of control on them We then switched to ipad pro Love the app so easy to run Way better then andriod                     Better on apple then andriod kschip

Great but needs one adjustment When mixing a show with this app I ll often jump into the detail of a particular channel then jump back to the DCA page by touching that section at the top However the DCA page assumes I want to change the name of a DCA fader since I was previously in a detail oriented section in the last page I visited This obviously isn t a very useful default behavior in the middle of a show It would be nice that for just the DCA page it would always default to display the faders first                 View DCA faders by default Andregriffin

First let me say right out of the gate that I love this platform My X32 M32 consoles have been out with me on tour for around a year and a half now with no problems I may have a couple complaints here but that s only because I feel it s worth pointing out a few things to help improve it Thanks for fixing the mute button issue but now the app randomly chokes as if the wireless connection was poor It s a real bummer during a live show when I only have a second to make changes and the app is temporary frozen I m running it on a 128GB iPad Pro via AirPort Extreme 15 feet away so I have plenty of horsepower and bandwidth The iPad 2 running a previous version is fine mutes not withstanding Feature requests Please replace the mute group buttons with user defined buttons on main mix page so I can get to things like tap tempo and perhaps an infinite peak hold release That would certainly earn you those 5 stars I love the fact that I can have up to 10 devices interacting at the same time That was actually what sold me on the X32 M32 platform but I would really love to see you employ a user and permissions scheme to keep the drummer from changing the keyboard player s mix             Choking Hazard with latest update Abeski

EXTREMELY disappointed with Behringer for taking so long to get the muting issue that many including myself are having with this update straightened out The previous version 2 2 2 worked perfectly Before this update I was recommending the X32 Rack to anyone who would listen Now that Behringer has left us hanging for months with a screwed up mixing app I have to consider switching to the Mackie or Presonus equivalent Not sure I could even sell the X32 in good faith if the mixing app doesn t work correctly I will never trust this company again     NOT cool Dirty Dave Fitz

Can we please have an option to restore the old mute behavior Our Musicians and our Monitor mix tech use the X32Mix app to set their levels during sound check because of the blinking and hard muting with a double pres I have had to tell these folks that they cannot mute in their own channels because of the fallout of the being able to hard mute from SendsOnFaders This is causing enough of a headache that I would rather replace this board with antoher vendors board if it isnt fixed     Blinking Mutes JCSchillinger

I can t believe its been several months since the update 2 3 has been released and Behringer hasn t fixed it This version is not useable as many have documented It is very scary to have all these bugs pop up at a live show Fortunately I was able to downgrade to 2 2 2 with some difficulty and now I have turned off automatic updates on my iPad and have to update all other apps one by one being careful not to update this one Version 2 2 2 is amazing and perfect for me a pro sound guy At least put 2 2 2 back if you can t fix 2 3 But acknowledge your users     Use version 2 2 2 JosephWit

It may not seem like a big deal but the flashing mute buttons are a major issue It takes several tries to get the mutes to turn on and off especially when you have sends on fader engaged I agree with the other users where the app used to automatically log onto the X32 it now has to be done each time you turn the system on I use an X32rack and S 16 in my studio so the iPad app is my control surface Can we get an update for this app please     Latest update has issues crazyratdog

The X32 is such a great piece of kit but this update makes remote control nearly impossible with the MTX and bus mutes displaying incorrect settings I can t properly set up a separate aux feed The flashing mutes situation makes nothing simpler Also I m now having to reconnect to the X32 wifi whenever I wake the iPad up again Never used to happen Please please fix I ve had to go through nearly two months of services without full function At least make the old app available as a Classic separate purchase or something I really don t care about an RTA on the app the ballistics are way off anyway at least on a slightly older iPad     Come on guys brooklynfall

Live show The app mutes the main mix of the aux I need instead of in the buses I double checked and tripled checked to make sure I wasn t in the live mix and that the sends on fader was on Also many times the faders don t show Very frustrating     Not good guys Yokoloko13

When I am in sends on fader for group 7 8 which are linked I have no fader on channel 5 So I can t bring that channel up in my mix Don t have that problem with any of the other groups I have one iPad with the old version and one with the new version and both have the same problem     Sends on fader Patrick Copland

I run sound from stage I can not tell if we re muted out front or not I m running a stereo matrix out It says left is unmuted and right is muted no matter what I do This is very frustrating Please fix it asap Tried running the x32 with the m32 mix same problem Please revert to the old or fix this issue This is by far a bigger problem than having an rta feature Also when my iPad goes into standby I almost always have to restart the app or sign back in     This update is bad news for everyone X32 Rocks

I received the update and now I cannot get linked up with my router to control the X 32 remotely Is this just a coincidence or did you do something to cause this problem in the update If I watch very closely I see a message pop up when I try to connect to my wifi that says network latency This wifi worked great until about the time I got the update     OK What s up Mr Bibs
