I love catching the news when I am away from home for some reason or another However this update has disrupted the Closed Caption from working on this version I give it a 3 stars but worthy of 5 with working captions           Closed Caption

I think this is a big improvement over the previous version Much more weather info                 Nice upgrade

I just downloaded the app so I havent used it extensively it seems ok has information that I would look for out of my local news app but I dont see a way to go back to the home screen once you venture into other areas so I have to close and reopen Maybe Im missing something           Serves the purpose

TERRIBLE     Worst app ever

Informative and not as many typos as some news appsBUT it would be nice if there wasnt a huge blankgrey banner on the bottom screen above the ad banner This limits the viewable content by an additional 20 Why Please remove and update              Needs work

I dont like having to search for the live broadcast It is working much better than last week              Seems to work better

Latest update Icon boring What was wrong with the older icon Why make changes All the ones that keep popping up on my iphone4S stink I cant even properly send notice for app support because all I get is the news no indication that ANYONE at WUSA cares if they did there would be a memo fillin to appropriate department about what we likedont like     WUSA mobile app icon

I travel a lot and am sometimes just too tired to catch the news on television so this app provides a great alternative Its also interesting to see the amount of news coverage happening in each state However my issue is with the photo recap stories Im not sure why the different photo articles are posted when they dont function in the app Yes I would like to see the photos of mug shots but I cant Or any of the other photo articles I also take issue with the disabled links in the articleRead more shouldnt be included if it wont be a functional link Another issue is with the editing and proofing of some articles I dont want to have to decipher what is meant when the string of words dont complete the thought And finally if theres an actual update to a story outline that first Sometimes the word is there but I question if there is truly an update since the same basic information is given maybe theres supposed to be a link or photo that provides such              Love It but

This is a nice and complete news app but your latest update where you added an inescapable Allstate ad instead of the current weather video is bad I love Dennis Hasberts voiceover just fine but after viewing the same ad three times Can I PLEASE just see the weather video I only went to this app because the older video on wusa9 radar didnt even open Seriously its okay to force us to waste bandwidth on 30 second ads but not INSTEAD of the actual content              Broken again

I like how the breaking news banner grabs your attention Clean interface I enjoy sharing news articles with my friends Hope to see more features in future updates                 Great for DC breaking news

Breaking news alerts are timely and site has great links to relevant info I may be biased but                 Great app

I love being able to get my news at my fingertips The app recently updated and I prefer the setup it had before the update but all around a great way to catch up on the news              Good app

Used to be my go to for local news but it appears as if the ap designers need a few lessons on ergonomic usability This ap does have a live streaming feature but they make it almost impossible to use I get the impression they dont really want you to use it In the past they put a watch WUSA 9 now button at the top of the ap Good luck finding it now It might be buried somewhere deep inside but I cant find it A prompt does pop up when you launch the ap but it doesnt stay there long and when it disappears theres no way to launch live streaming Okay guys I get the message you dont want me to use a service you say you provide Make it simple insert the button permanently and prominently at the top and LEAVE IT ALONE        They hide the live streaming feature

very clean easy to use app my favorite dc area news app they update it very quickly wish it had option for push notifications for breaking news though                 great app

Every time they upgraded it gets worse now its so bad Im just taking out the app off my iPad Its unbelievable people get paid to do this     Terrible upgrade removing app

I love WUSA9 but this app is riddled with programming glitches that make the app nearly unusable At every other opportunity the app crashes during a section transition and not just in specific sections like other users Weather headlines closing delays all of the sections crash repeatedly as the section is in the process of opening On the occasion as I am reading an article the app will close spontaneously I will have made no interaction with the user interface at all fingers clear of the screen and it will instantly crash I know you guys can build something a little more functional The presentation and overall look is great Just iron out your performance glitches and youll be on top Keep up the good work guys These are all easy fixes coding wise        Great News Poor App

Advertised as an iPad app with up to the minute traffic maps yet the app Has NO Traffic link anywhere in it AND its just an iPhone app with enlarged screen Also annoying that its portrait view only Thats not an iPad app Downloaded and deleted it within minutes what a waste of my time and data usage     No TRAFFIC
