After the latest update I noticed a few of my favorite features were missing This app is no longer compatible with Kalodimos Heggen or SnowBird Until these issues are fixed the app is unusable Experiencing major issues Mack Lunn
Since the new app appeared I cant access channel 4 and cant download the new one Channel 4 kicked me off
I use apps to get to stories quickly I am NOT going to watch a commercial every time I want to see something on the news or weather Other apps are more useful I didnt see an up to date radar although it may be available Going back to weather bug Too many commercials
The new app has bean broke for a will and cannot find citys and most of the time will just not load any thing But the news system dos function all right Would think they would get this fixed sooner No wether system that works
I get the need for ads you need to make money But if I have to wait before I can even see the news and wait for an add to go away its a waste of my time Put ads in tactfully but dont waste my time on app launch Its faster to bookmark wsmv and visit the mobile site then launch your ad filled app Thanks but no thanks I want to see content with some ads not ads with content Ads are annoying
I dont care about sports But somehow 90 of the alerts I get are about sports and football or basketball I dont give a flip What about traffic What about ACTUAL NEWS You need to find a way for certain types of alerts to be disabled or the user to select what gets push notified to them Its annoying Delete Sick of nothing but sports alerts
Crashes A lot Very frustrating Could be a nice app with links to videos and the ability to link articles to Facebook Easy to get school closure and weather info But they really need to stabilize the program Its too buggy Crashes

Got bombarded with more notifications than I bargained for when will i be able to pick what i want to be notified about and only about what i want Notifications
The latest news page has older stories inter woven with most recent And newest story is 3 days old I have only seen this the last few weeks Why is this Latest News
I had this app once before and deleted it because I was getting news alerts even though I have notifications turned off With a new device I loaded it again and its still doing it Until you stop sending unwanted notices I will not use Dont want alerts
I grew up in Nashville and remember when Demetria joined Ch4 Loved finding this app so I can keep tabs on Nashvegas But I think Im less annoyed by banner ads than the big ad that shows up every time I open the app Commercials
Nashville has better tech than thisI know it for a fact This app is awful Crashes Relies on content from the full site WSMV should be embarrassed by this app Dont waste your time If you want news from this station just go to the full site with Safari Disappointing
Deleting app because WSMV has decided the single most important news event of the month is Alan Jacksons daughter being arrested Since that has been hitting my alerts 30 times a day and using 70 of my battery I can no longer keep what used to be a very good app on my phone Alan Jacksons Daughter
When I want local weather this is a great app I dont see why people have rated it with only 1 star I like it
I log on to see recent news and its always old stuff from yesterday and days ago Im gonna download another news app Old news
Settings allow to opt for or not breaking news notification Even though I choose not to I still get the notifications Competitor apps are no problem Breaking News
What did you do to this app It use to be the best news app around now it doesnt work since the last update After you read one story it constantly tries to go back to the story you just read and wont let you do anything else Deleted it and reinstalled but no better Please fix this problem Disappointed
When I open up a news app and the first thing is an ad on who to vote for all impartiality goes out the window and so does the app Be real news and report impartially Dont use your app to sway voters Im sick enough of that crap already Just threw it in the trash
NOBODY wants to be forced to watch an Escape Day Spa commercial EVERY time they select a video clip to watch This is EXTREMELY annoying and wont help this advertiser attract new customers or even retain their current customers As for WSMV if this is the only way they can afford to have a presence on the web maybe they should just shut it down until they can figure it out ESCAPE DAY SPA GIVE ME A BREAK

The wsmv app works great NOW and yes Im giving it 5 stars to bad I cant give it more but just knowing that my favorite newsweather app works now puts a smile on my face Ive been watching wsmv ever since 1980 and still watching it morningevening So thanks a bunch on fixing the app Wsmv
I get very frustrated when a banner pops up with a breaking story but the story isnt listed in the app Grrrr Headline News Doesnt Show up in app

Dont write reviews very often but had to for this app Avoid it it is the buggiest app I have EVER used and I am done with it Multiple versions and they still cant get it working smoothly Crashes constantly wont change screens and locks up on loading Poor programmed app
WSMV should be ashamed Your app is outdated and not informative If you want to see how its done check out WKRNs site As a frequent traveler I want information that scour rent and in depth Im better of waiting until I return to Nashville and reading old newspapers Poor in every aspect
When I pull up the app the screen freezes every time for about 10 seconds I have stopped using this app Screen Freeze
I STILL get news flashes about Alan Jacksons kid getting arrested WHO CARES I want to know about traffic shootings house fires things that are URGENT I dont care if someones kid got arrested or a new coach was hired to whatever team or some big name will be in concert THOSE are not news worthy notifications Also yes my app freezes locks up but when it works I love the weather portion of it I agree with all the other reviews
The new release looks modern and is well organized I would like to see the current temperature return to the top right corner of the app Its sought after info that now you must navigate to find Notifications

I have the settings set to only receive weather updates but for some reason I get notifications for every story they report Extremely annoying Ive put up with it for a while but Im deleting as Im tired of getting multiple notifications I dont want to see Annoying App

Although ATTs new 4G LTE network is much faster than the previous 3G one WSMVs streaming video of both recorded and live news is frequently interrupted It is impossible to view an entire story from start to finish Please resolve this issue Thank you Additionally about 50 of the time I try to open your app it malfunctions and freezes This happens every day It is very frustrating and leads to me choosing other channels to get news Video Playback Malfunction
Layout is horrible Notifications are worse I turned off all but weather notifications but I kept getting all notifications If this continues I will delete As I promised the notifications werent fixed so now Im deleting Maybe channel five will be better Pitiful
Have a first generation iPad Forget about this one as you cant run iOS 60 on a first generation iPad and that is required for this app Really dumb move on excluding users of older iPads and iPods Check out News Channel 5 or WKRNs app as they obviously care about meeting the needs of their viewers Older iPad
App is good about sending breaking news and reading stories and watching live news But if you want to watch any videos on the app not gonna happen Most videos wont play
