WORDsearch Bible

Its doesnt eVen let me log into my account because it says that Im not connected to the Internet when I am     Cant even use it

I have grown to use this app instead of reading the books on my computer The app provides a good environment for reading and has some good study features that permit a second book or group of books to be used for reference All the Bible references are clickable and you can have a default reference but use a different version to compare The design is intended for reading a Bible with a commentary and notes to supplement but it also works well for reading a commentary or other work Verse by verse commentaries can even use the book chapter verse look up you would use for a Bible However there are several things that need fixing For example the toc listing is impossible to use for a large toc such as a Bible or a dictionary The toc needs to have levels which can be expanded by clicking The hcsb Bible has several words run together in nearly every verse making it very hard to read It also divides itself into an old and New Testament but you can only select one book for your default Bible You need to be able to select different books for each testament Every time you click a Bible verse the banners at the top and bottom of the page toggle either on or off They should remain where the reader put them When you jump to another location the back button should get you back to the page you were on but it does not work correctly           Getting better but still needs some work

I think this version is excellent however After selecting a chapter and verse we should be able to continue reading through to the next chapter and so on                 A little more tweaking

As the title says very poorly designed Also the in app prices are outrageous     Very poorly designed

Ive been using WORDsearch Bible software for years prior to this app No where can a preacher or Bible teacher access so much reference material in one place The concept is a 5 star but this is apps has the most glitches of all the apps I use and its my most important app The creators of this app keep trying to offer more features to which is great but with every update it messes up the functionally of the app every time which is so frustrating when youre in the middle of your lesson plan or sermon preparation        Can Be A Preachers Most Valuable Resouce

Im pondering why Word Search doesnt do anything about this app seems like it has been totally neglected to be of any good use It is just not user friendly     Lost in the shuffle

The prior version was just wonderful Now it is broken Dont need or desire the new video portion Please fix soon Update While better it still has jumpy screens It only works now when Im connected to the Internet Update 8715 Switching to Olive Tree        Agreed Needs Work

There is an error that keeps popping up that will not allow me to access books of the Bible Until that is fixed this app is next to useless     Decent App

This looks very promising if it actually worked It took 23 minutes to download and install a single bible then when I tried to go to a verse all I got was an endless spinning do they call it a beach ball on iPads I have a number of collections Ive bought in word search and I think I would use this app all the time if it worked as advertised On my iPad 3 useless     Useless

This program is very frustrating to use Its interface is difficult to use and understand Wordsearch in my opinion has gone down hill since V5 or so for the PC        Frustrating

It could use improvement but its usable It could use improvements like bible reading plans etc I know they have mywsb but there should be away to read across devices such as other bible programs Its a work in progress and its understandable considering the time and resources it takes           Good but

I have this program on my pc and I love it but this iOS app is horrible When this app was initially released I really enjoyed but for some strange reason the developers totally revamped it and this is where it all went downhill A few of the previous versions were more stable than this one but still had flaws I cant open PAID books in my library If you have a stable version DO NOT UPDATE     Probably the worst Bible app in the whole iTunes store

I am giving it one star because this app is very poor The talking Greek and Hebrew dictionary doesnt work It keeps showing loading then era when I try use it I am not impressed with it because I depend on a good bible app to study with As a pastor I love to research the word and I have the same thing on my laptop and its great Well I dont like this whats so ever     Very Poor App

Still working very poorly The drag loading books is very bad it is exceedingly slow The links are still broken in many books they do not take you to the requested location in the book Books that used to load to the current day such as devotionals do not do that any longer Even after you change it to the current day if you leave that book and go to another and then return to the 1st book the date is something other than the current date Books pull up out of alignment you may only see half of the page because the other half is out past the left margin until you swipe up or down When you pull a resource window up the contents do not sync even though it says its synced it is not I think this is especially frustrating for those of us who have invested a lot of money in building substantially large WordSearch libraries Please hurry and get this app fixed Im leaving my prior comments below as they still apply Prior Review Glitches are expected and normal sometimes but this app is severely broken Did you test before going live Please please fix It is unusable for me right now It hangs up very badly is extremely slow in retrieving books Playing a video in a book doesnt matter if you cannot pull up the book or the location in the book you are trying to get to The Table of Contents pick any book does not take you to the chapter you requested it might be the book cover a different chapter in the book than you requested and may not even open the book Or it might take you to the book and chapter and then automatically switch to another chapter Im sure there are more malfunctions that I just havent gotten to yet Developers I love you guys but please quickly get back to your drawing boards and repair this already at risk app AND please make sure it is adequately tested before going into prod Id like to see it get better not worse        Still Has Serious Problems

I actually downloaded this app because I use the PC version of QuickVerse and it would allow me access to most of my library on both the iPad and PC The interface at first took a little getting used to but over the last couple of versions they have improved it to the point where it is pretty intuitive The app works well is stable and I now have a large library of Bibles commentaries and studies available wherever I feel I need to be Good job                 Lots of Resources

Much has been done but there is much more to do The sync function is sporadic at best the second window is difficult to pull up since it competes with iOS menu The developers refuse to add the lookup or define function back in the new app it was available in the old green app The second window books keep clearing from the window and have to be added again There are no Bible word links to Strongs Greek and Hebrew Dictionary you need the Strongs number to look up a word Needs more work        Needs more work

This is absolutely one of the worst apps I have ever had I have had nothing but trouble buying and downloading books My orders get lost at the confirm window I will be deleting this app     WORDsearch Bible

This has been a long and frustrating process but I am hopeful that this new fix will prove to be the cure WORDsearch is great on my PC but like so many I use my iPad more than my PC That is why this problem has been discouraging But a new day has come and so far both windows are working Love it                 Dare I hope Its working

I am sorry to say but this is app is very frustrating and difficult to use I am pretty computer and app literate but this app is frankly awful It is not user friendly and I get many errors 62515 after update 2nd bible pane opening immediately crashes program please help us     Please fix

Not sure when WS upgraded set to auto upgrades But this version hardly works at all The simplest feature scrolling barely functions with much delay Shuts down when trying load second screen Back to the drawing board Glad I have Logos which works fine Problem is I own 2000 books in WS     Poor version

The latest update is sooooo sluggish scrolling is horrible You may have enabled video embedding but youve really made the app choppy and jerky UPDATE Nice lots of improvements to the app Great job but keep it going It would be nice if we had more options like being able to turn hyperlinks on or off I know its part of uit study power but some books have so many imbedded that it slows the app down and really drains the battery down Also a default setting to connectnot connect to the web for same reason Even when not syncing it still trys to connect Battery drain seems to be the biggest issue        Needs a lot of improvement

To spend all this money as an investment and then not be able to report errors makes you feel like you wasted your money because they really dont care once they have your money No two account log in for the serious readers Where is the love that they preach     No Error reporting

I too have the PC version at home and on my laptop We travel extensively and I dont always have access to my laptop however I do with my iPhone 6 Plus I can access all of my commentaries study notes Ive made Great work                 Im an Evangelist

This app continues to frustrate Whenever I select a book to read it automatically opens the first one on the list in the upper left corner Totally useless The new version continues the madness I can no longer use this program as I once did It seems their big fixes did not include any bug fixes Or maybe that was bad coding too And it is impossible to download anything to my iPad to store locally     WordSearch

Was a great app then they decided to add videos to the books and the videos have been preparing ever since Buffering never stops which now makes it worthless     Word search app

Wordsearch Needs to learn some lessons from Logos Bible Softwarethe Rolls Royce of Bible software I have been a loyal fanuser of Wordsearch software for many years and Lord willing will continue to be I love the software for my desktop computer However when it comes to the IPad app they are woefully lacking Shoddy and problematic best describe the app I would encourage the management to please allocate more funds to do whatever is necessary to fix and improve this app With the IPad Pro being available in November and the many who will use it for both sermon prep and delivery you really need to get your act together lest you get left behind like Biblesoft PC Study Bible did long ago Just saying     Wordsearch Needs to learn from Logos

Cant navigate between Devotionals No matter what is selected it defaults to a specific Devotional The workaround is to do a search for the one wanted and then choose it Bad programming Worked better 6 revisions ago     Wordsearch

Already in the process of building a library with other useful software I will continue to use Wordsearch until I get a new library built Its been years since Wordsearch has been trying to straighten out this app but Im convinced it wont happen Its been good Wordseach     No more purchases from Wordsearch

On my PC this is awesome On my iPad it is a terrible disappointment It freezes a lot and it does not allow note taking which I love to do etc I do agree that it has great potential        Very Very Disappointing

I was excited to learn that you have an App that would allow students to read their books through an iPad or other tablet However the app is REALLY poorly done There are all sorts of programing errors when trying to use my iPad to read the books This is quite unfortunate but another example of putting out a poor product to just say that you have it If you would just make your ebooks compatible with other ereaders namely the Kindle then you wouldnt have to deal with all the problems of trying to write your own program This program really is a waste of time and manpowerput it to bed     Utter Disappointment

I used it for Bible studies and being able to tap a link for a built in verse was a great feature Was Now the verse comes up but all the little written cross references come up also so that your verse reads like For God has not given us a spiritk Or us the spirit of fearfulness 1 Jn 117 Romans 119 John 1447 but one of power mLk145 etc Please fix Contacted Lifeway no reponse     Started out great

Word search should stick with their computer Bible program Their iPad Bible app Is terrible Please learn from Olivetree or pocket bible Those are iPad Bible apps This thing is terrible I have so many books but its so frustrating to use I give up every time Sorry for such a bad review but it is bad     This is the worst Bible app

App continues to crash during startup When and if I make it to my recent book read the screen pauseshesitates when trying to scroll up or down     Crashes

Love being able to access all my resources in this app and the side by side panels for synced up reading is great                 Terrific Bible Study App

It is a shame This WAS my favorite Bible a Study software on PC They never ever got the mobile app together It always felt very Commodore 64ish This Ipad app has NEVER been good or reliable or even pleasant Now the PC software has become bloated and cant even connect to a server SO In this day and age of cloud syncing I have moved onto a better and more reliable platform for both PC and IPad Olivetree Edit Olive Tee rocks Wont look back to Wordsearch     I am done with WordSearch

I do not understand why the folks at WORDsearch cannot put out an app that works This has been going on for several years now When you try to scroll down it is jerky and moves around It has lost any smooth operation It is truly a shame because the desktop software is excellent Somebody needs to do something     Continues to be terrible

This App is terrible I deleted it long ago but keep checking backhopeful its gotten better No such luck Bring back the Wordsearch Classic and upgrade it Now it wont even download my library So logos and others are my mainstay when Im using my iPad     Wordsearch classic so much better bring it back

Ive been using Wordsearch on my computer for many years and have invested considerable cash in Wordsearch books Despite claims these are not all available to you in the app Critically popular bible translations do not show up This is very disappointing In addition the interface is clunky and nonintuitive open books do not sync ie bible and study notes dont automatically stay in sync when you select a verse So I end up using my favorite and very capable app PocketBible which I have been happily using as an app since the Palm Pilot 1           Nowhere near as good as computer program or other bible app

When I get to Revelation chapter 10 onward I get this error This page contains the following error Error on line 168 at column 20 Entity The rest of the bible is the same error           Looking to use HCSB translation

This app can open my purchased books but still lacks a lot of functionality Im hoping Lifeway keeps working on it Update 715 I have been patiently waiting as I have hundreds of dollars invested in word search library but the app continues to be minimally functioning and glitchy Currently crashes upon opening second window every time     Not Quite Ready

I would give more stars it seems like an excellent app I even have bought the computer version and it works great But when open up the app it will say error This has the potential of a 5 star rating but I would love to actually use this as a study when Im away from my computer and Bibles        It wont display any of the bibles

After your last update with the embedded videos none of the books I have downloaded in the second pane will open It immediately crashes and I have to relaunch the app again Other than a few minor tweaks I love the app           Second Window still crashes

Best app for bible learning Has everything you need to learn the words of God                 Awesome app
