Wooly: A Ravelry companion app

It opens sure but if you click on or do anything besides look at the start page it closes Boo     Rotten

Ever since the update that removed all photo upload functionality I have completely stopped using this App They really should not have updated without having this function ready to go Save your money until they bring this function back everything that this app does you can do through Safari anyways     WAS the best Ravelry App

The UI of this version definitely looks nicer than what was previously available but I feel like some of the functionality was sacrificed in this newer version I can kind of make it work but Im not terribly happy about it        I miss the old Wooly

I havent been able to do anything with this app since the update it just crashes upon opening Very frustrating     Crashes everytime

What I loved about the app is now gone The review I wrote in 2013 sadly does not apply to the new version I miss the old Wooly From 2013 3 is very little to pay for this app I really like being able to update photos on my Ravelry project page The photo editor is awesome Color corrections are easy and the sharpness feature works well I like having my needles and stash handy much faster to view over 3G when WiFi isnt available at an LYS And now Wooly is on my iPad Keep up the good work guys Beth2 on Ravelry     No longer has the photo editor

I was using Wooly before the upgrade I liked the interface to my needles hookshelpful when in yarn store I use Yarma for camera app so dont need that not even seeing it in Wooly functionality Will c how long I keepuse Wooly        Prefer Old Functionality

I have had this app about 5 minutes and it has crashed 3 times each time I try to look at my stash It also says coming soon when you try to access new project or new stash The description specifically states you can use it for accessing these items You also cant search Ravelry just your own stuff Not really what was advertised Very disappointed that I purchased this app     Big Let Down

This used to be my favorite ravelry app Since the improvements the app is nothing short of a mess Features have been removed and you cant even load pictures anymore Worst of all is the glaring misspelling at the top of the page The app feels like half of a thought instead of something well executed     So sad

I was so hopeful with the most recent update that was suppose to fix the issues from the November update Unfortunately the update seemed to have only corrected some spelling mistakes and gives the illusion they fixed the photo upload issuehowever the photos do not actually upload Very very disappointed     Problems since update

Awesome Ravelry app and is getting better with each update I love the photo upload feature and that this works on both iPhone and iPad                 Best Ravelry app and getting better

Should have read the reviews before purchasing This app crashes every time I try to open it A waste of money     Dont waste your money

After I updated this app I can no longer access my needles This makes me very unhappy Ive used Wooly since it first came out but I will be looking for another option unless they give back the same functionality this app had before the upgrade I dont need big pictures of my projectsI need access to my Ravelry info     No needles

I cant even keep the app open for more than a few minutes And all the functions I would use are all coming soon Pretty useless app Waste of money until they fix it     Not sure of the point

This app used to be great Since downloading the updates I havent been able to open the app once Every time I try to open the app it immediately crashes Please fix it     Bug fix

I really used to love this app I could upload photos easily Now it looks good but is difficult to navigate use and photos cannot be uploaded Totally useless and a waste of my money     used to love it

I had great hopes for this app it crashes it doesnt synchronize with my Ravelry projects I really wanted to like this app maybe they will fix it I hope they do     No Good

The ONLY thing I used this app for was easily uploading photos from my phone to my Ravelry projects Im generally great with technology but I cant figure out how to upload a photo Bad     Photos gone

I know that everyone wanted this app to be improved with the capability to add projects yarns etc but why add that capability and take away all previous functionality that was needed and loved This new version is horrible I would never have updated if I had known how useless the new version is I would even pay to get the old one back If I cant I will delete and use someone elses app Its that bad     Completely Useless Now

I had this app before the Kickstarter and it was pretty good How could you take over a year and make it worse I would not suggest buying this app until it has been fixed Dont waste your money I had an extra code for the app because of the Kickstarter and could not give it away to friends     How did you make your app worse after the kickstarter

What happened to the access to my needle records That was the whole reason I paid money for this app That and it HAD the best interface to search my stash This was my favorite knitting app before but now its useless What were they thinking This upgrade basically threw out all the best parts Ive never heard of an upgrade where the developers actually REMOVE something it used to do Makes no sense Can I get my old version back     It doesnt do what I need it to do anymore

I find this to be a very attractive app and its functioning reasonably well for me but it doesnt have all the features that some of the others do there is no access to the forums for example So its ok and I do like the interface but it doesnt quite do it for me           OK and pretty but pretty limited

Looks nice but now I cant access my needle collection I liked the old way much better This is difficult to navigate Yuck        What happened

The current update is lousy You can upload pics from camera And no needles page The loss of these features is disappointing     Disappointed

If I could give this less than one star I would Wooly was never a fantastic app but it was useful Now it is trash Doesnt always show all of my WIPs crashes 85 of the time not so user friendly I like that there should be more options on the app than there used to be but they dont work at all because the app just crashes I just want a Ravelry app that works     Horrible

Really really disappointed in the updated app The best feature of the app was being able to take pictures of your projects and stash and being able to save them the ravelry That function is gone now Save your money and dont buy this app right now     Used to be a 5 star app

I have an iPhone 6 plus running iOS 813 and after installing the update the app constantly crashed while trying to just open it I deleted restarted and reinstalled and then I could at least open the app But now the app continually crashes and closes whenever I attempt to just view my stash I can enter a new stash okay but then I can never view it I had really hoped this version would at least make the app iPhone 6 compatible and resolve the previous photo upload issues Back to the mobile Ravelry site via Safari     Crashes

Updated 13 dec 14still cant upload photos I bought yep it wasnt free wooly specifically to upload my photos Thats gone Although I like the upgrade for pictures its all for nought since well it now doesnt have that feature I used to recommend woolygetting ready to delete it And the incorrect spelling of dashboard doesnt give me confidence     Update is A huge disappointment

Crashes constantly and it has only a few features of ravelry Its like they released this app when it was only a third of the way developed     Worst app on my phone

I know that for the developers this app is a labor of love but sadly the result crashes repeatedly on my iPhone 6 The app has typos Dashborad Ive written apps and would not have shipped this one Not even worth downloading as a free app     Crashes repeatedly

The new update is pretty but the app no longer works New project photos are put in the wrong order you cant see the notes field to enter any info App crashes frequently when switching between views Functionality needs some serious work     Latest update is a disaster

This app so far is nothing but a huge disappointment Do not buy it under any circumstances The developers need to release an update immediately Anytime I click on my projects tab the app crashes and you cant even use 80 of the app since the features arent out for the iPhone version Why even have the buttons if they arent out yet Incredibly annoyed     Really guys

Dont believe the raving positive reviews you see here None of it is true I updated this app in November 2014 and a few weeks later found myself in my LYS checked this app to check what was in my needle stash so I dont buy things needlessly and it was no longer accessible So I was back to old days of hoping that I had the correct needles because I dont want to buy something I dont need Later when checking to see if I had just missed that feature I found that NOPE it was the app And camera feature What camera feature Upload photos Youre kidding Also I no longer have the ability to view what type and amount of yarn needles etc are needed for a particular item in my queue And there are some weird typos in there Send us AND email Also New Project and New Stash still flash the message Coming Soon Yes Im running the most updated version for iPhone Yes all these features were available before the crazy November 2014 update Did the developers sell this app to some big Yahootype company whose main goal is to take what was a wonderfullydeveloped app and turn it into garbage Can we upgrade to the old version It was far more useful     What the happened to this app

For a long time this app functioned well for me Especially since I primarily used it for uploading iPhone photos of my projects and stash November 2014 an update removed that functionality and provided nothing of substance other than an updated GUI Now following resounding denouncements we get an update that promises to fix what was ruined by the November update and what do we get Random crashes My project listing also includes those of my friends more maddening misspellings come on guys No photo upload dont believe the planted reviews here there is no photo upload and more lies about functionality in the sales description I honestly dont know what was updated in this version because it is the same as the November update Ill reiterate what has been stated by so many Please bring back the original unupdated app     Quit promising and deliver

Agree with the other reviewers I used to love and recommend this app because I could quickly look at my Ravelry stash queue etc when I was out and about I paid for it mainly because of the photoupload feature which has now completely disappeared Why Also I can now see only a small percentage of my stash the stuff that starts with A or B I can only hope another update is coming soon because this one wasnt ready to be released and renders the app pretty useless        Update the update pronto

I loved this app and recommended it to everyone with an iPhone or iPad The best feature of being able to upload photos is the biggest let down I hope that another update to fix the new bugs and reinstate the lost features comes sooner than later I have faith that a fix will come please thank you PS the email icon for app support is broken as well     Failed to meet expectations from previous version

I bought this app for my new IPad Air and tried to upload some stash the reason I bought the app Coming soon Ummmthats not what it says in the description Waste of money     how do I get a refund

I love the new updated 211 version Its as close to Ravelry as you can get in an app Its easy to navigate and the camera works again This is the easiest way IMO to get a photo into a project on Ravelry Thanks guys                 Great App

I used to love wooly but since the last two updates it crashes instantly once I sign in So sad because its great when it works I have gone through the proper channels and contacted the developer Sadly I have not gotten any response from them I am running ios7 on an iPhone 4 so if you have a newer phone it might work I would love to revise this with 5 stars but right now I paid for an app that crashes instantly     Dont update Crashes instantly

I have a new iPhone and trying to update my projects but obviously their is a glitch and it needs to be fixed because I cant keep the app open to add pics It also created 20 skeins of stash yarn that I had to manually delete from my computer Very frustrating to buy an app and have these problems     Problems Crashing

Cant add pictures to ravelry using the iPhone anymore Thats the reason why I bought the older version of this app Now this app is useless for me     Wish I could give it no stars

This used to be my goto app for using Ravelry mobile After the update it only looks pretty It does not work pretty It does not seem to work 1 No longer can upload pictures taken with the iPhone 2 No longer access to stash 3 Not clear all of the projects can be seen Please go back to your previous product or make this one work as well If the idea is that you want to charge again for the app to cover your development do that But put out a product that works Please     Back to the App drawing Board

I didnt get beyond the loss of my needle inventory and after reading other reviews of this new version it appears I dont need to Please please fix this     Disappointing to say the least

I just bought this app and so far I hate it It only has landscape view and after attempting to add to my stash the save button wont work Please update and fix issues that have been mentioned by users so I dont have to request my money back     Are you going to update soon

I spent the money on this app thinking it would be great since the mobile Ravelry website is less than wonderful Nope This app does nothing but crash so far I logged into my Ravelry account and I cant do anything with the app as it crashes immediately upon launch Every Single Time Im not happy about it at all     Nothing but crashing so far
