The food in here is pretty good but the updates are infrequent and not timely As an example the app still has a low resolution icon 8 months after the retina display iPad was released Good recipes poor support
Weber needs to incorporate more videos into the app The only videos are How to Prepare The Grill After watching one vid on setting up the grill for indirect heat I think its pretty easy to figure out Show some videos of preparing and cooking the food Overall its a decent app Needs more video
Recently this app has been constantly crashing upon startup Ive deleted it and reloaded it on my iPad mini to no avail Since there doesnt appear to be a way to contact Weber directly about this issue Im writing this review in hopes of bringing it to their attention Will update once a solution is reached App up in smoke
Ive been grilling for many years learning a bit here and there by fellow grillers and the like In about 5 minutes of using this app Ive had my mind blown Great tips on how to manage your fire Excellent tips on how to prep on various types of grills for various types foods Superior addition to the apps experience The embedded timer and grocery list placed inline with the recipes Weber thank you for such a high quality app and thank you for the added boost of knowledge in reach of my greasy fingertips at all times This app is epicly brilliant

We were able to load it on iPad it took a couple tries Still no luck with the mini Hope they can fix this problem Cant get it to load on iPad mini
I am a new griller I like having some recipes and the shopping list and time will be nice I agree with others that it would be nice to have the shopping list at least sync onto iPhone Now Ill have to carry iPad to store Like it
I love this app Huge variety and great ideas for the grill I love that you can save your favorites for easy finding later My one suggestion would be adding a place where you can upload your own recipes Things you have made and enjoyed on your own so you can come back to those later Possibly even allow a person to upload their own picture of their creation Again I love this app and would highly recommend it but would love a section for my own recipes This has not been updated to add new recipes since I downloaded the app Add some new recipes and I will change it back to 5 stars Awesomeupdated

Apps good tried to put it on my iPhone thought it would be handier for the time and such while cooking They want another 5 to download it for my iPhone I hate it when they try to double dip on the user that way Way too greedy for me Disappointed

This is the first review Ive ever written on any app Im submitting it since this app is that good Im using an original wifi 3G iPad with up to date iOS 5 software Purchased the app just before Thanksgiving after seeing the cookbook at Home Depot Ive now used two recipes the smoked turkey and yesterday for Christmas the rib roast All I can say is that my family thinks Ive got a PHD in grilling Both of these recipes were simply spectacular In addition have used the grocery lists added notes emailed the recipes and used all the imbedded videos Spectacular
The recipes look fantastic and with the built in timer and helper videos I should be a grill master in no time Some reviews said the videos had no sound but the ones I looked at were fine Cant wait for warmer weather to start grilling Fabulous app
Since two or three month ago the Weber doesnt work I write to Weber site and they said that is a APPLE problems not then I would like to know who tok my 499 because I paid it to get access and I do not have Where is my money or the Service The Apps doesnt works
I was hoping for more howto videos And in general it seems light on content Particularly for the price I hope they continue to update it Eh
I like this App a great deal I especially like the grocery list and timers Most of the recipes are new to me too which is nice I would have given it a solid five stars if not for the inability to add more recipes I own most of the Weber printed cookbooks and I have my favorites from them It would be great to have those recipes transferred to this App eliminating their need on the counter when preparing The ability to add more recipes would make the perfect app IMO Wonderful App for the iPad

The recipe wheel doesnt work on iOS 83 It slides out but you cant turn it I own this app on the iPhone too and love that one Now on the iPad app if I could just get the recipes to work Id be happy Recipe wheel inoperative iOs 83
Well worth app for the iPad I actually have it also on my iPhone as one is perfect for the kitchen to prepare the food and the other is perfect to have at the grill while cooking it The best part is the video techniques and grilling guide which will guide anyone who is willing to follow the instructions to become a perfect chef on the grill Excellent grill teacher

This is a wonderful App Great pictures and easy to follow directions I have many Grilling Cookbooks but end up using a recipe from this App most of the time If you could add your own recipes that would be an added benefit Great App

This app isnt worth 99 let alone 499 All this app provides is recipes and some very low level howtos There is not even a basic meat cooking guide with temps and cook times I want a refund Terrible app
My husband wanted to download this App to his phone and it wouldnt go through So I showed him how to do it on my iPad thinking it would sync to his phone like all our other Apps do Surprise I was charged twice for it How greedy can you get Very disappointed in the recipes We have a Weber Cookbook and this App doesnt offer any better selection of recipes I was hoping to get something new and also a larger selection I would not recommend this App Too expensive for what you get Also Disappointed

Just bought this for iPad Guess what If you want it on your iPhone as well its a separate app that they make you buy again What a crock Buyer beware
There are a lot of nice recipes in this app but saving any notes doesnt work even though you enter your informationnotes in the recipe and hit save they will no be saved Kind of a shame since I like to make subtle changes to recipes Good food with a problem
I have the paper version of this book and its excellent What makes it stand out is all of the great background information discussion of grill types and cooking methods timing guides hints and tips etc The iPad version is very disappointing in that they apparently decided you dont need any of that But of course thats exactly what you do need Recipes are a dime a dozen but a good grilling tutorial would be valuable They do include a few such short videos but they dont work with the current version of iOS so they may as well not be there Save yourself 5 and just go to one of the big web sites for recipes Videos dont work lack of content
