I have been waiting since March for fixes to issues Technical support is great to work with you but after many many sessions I was told in early August these issues are product related they would be fixed in an upcoming update They could not tell me how far away that update might be Needs an update

I use the app to get the photos to my NAS It works well I can lock it with a PIN and select the folder to copy the files to The interface seems dated but the Windows software does too I would like it to have an overwrite function since it fails if it detects a fail with the same name Good could be better

Most of my movies are mkv and this app is useless when it comes to watching my movies All the players now support mkv and others but wd is trying its best to remain outdated Add more media formats

I installed the NAS unit at home which I currently do not visit frequently and currently the only way I can add new devices to access my NAS HD is by being in the same network therefore I can not do it remotely So basically I can not access the HD through a web service from WD only through a previously authorized device while being on my local network Please fix this asap Also I can not search for files on My Mac with the My Cloud App as on the Iphone app Needs work but it does work well

The product is awesome and perfect idea but the App can be a lot better and higher performance It is hard to upload and manage content with the App Deleting renaming selecting multiple contents and moving them is either impossible or hard to do All I am saying is more user friendly App You guys can have more success with this product if you provide better support for the App It could be better design

This is a must have cost effective system If you take lots of pictures and videos on your iPhone you already know the 5GB of cloud storage Apple gives you isnt enough Neither is the nonexpandable iPhone with no micro SD slot This is where WD My Cloud is very VERY useful Its Fast and secure Go get one Better than iCloud
I bought this drive because I could backup my photos directly from my phone Now I find out the WD My Cloud wont upload automatically to said drive On top of that I cant see my photos until select one and open it I auto upload and thumbnails otherwise its worthless Highly Disappointed
I can upload a my photos from my phone to MyCloud and my family can easily view and access them The apps are not perfect but they work good enough Better than expected

I was looking for a something that could store all of my music and videos and be accessed from anywhere That is what this My Cloud does Its even linked with iTunes I might run into problems later but any piece of computer hardware will eventually throw wrinkles into your daily tasks But right now Im good Thanks Oh and the app was crap until it updated I believe I dont know what happened because there was a scheduled down time for weeks it said and it would not work with iPhone so that disconcerting I was about to return it and this window popped up a day later and said download for iPhone and iPad so I did Boom Just what my computers needed Just What My Computers Needed

I love my MYCLOUD Instant access to all my files from wherever This app looks and works great Unfortunately the desktop app does not have a search bar as simple to use or even present like the mobile app does If you snap from one app to another on the iPhone you will usually suspend any transfers you were making to the my cloud Thumbnails

Just a suggestion for WDlook into the StreamToMeServeToMe apps they run flawless on the Mac and iPhone as this app should but it doesnt For now I have to have my computer and the cloud on to stream anything while I am away and on cell network This app is terrible at streaming on the cell network Please fix and add many more video formats I can even play vobs on StreamToMe all stored on my WD cloud Good Base app terrible compatibility
