The app is functional on the phone Im yet to see any response by the city Is it not working on their end or is this business as usual by the city In theory this was a grand idea unfortunately it seems more like great PR     Is this a joke
Location never works Not surprised for DC government     Doesnt work
App cant seem to update current location enters endless loop Hopefully such bugs will be resolved soon since the overall idea is sound           Good idea but has errors

I submitted a rat abatement in the middle of the night Thursday and the city came the following Tuesday Monday was a holiday Works great                 Ace for Rat Abatement Request
In theory this should be a perfect app for mobile devices around the City But it is so SLOW and CLUNKY to use that I find calling 311 faster and more effective The worst is trying to report a parking meter out of order unlike a phone call the app doesnt give you a confirmation number you can use to protest a ticket if you get one Instead you have to trust that the meter maids mobile device actually records your report The really app killer for me is that the app is painfully slow entering information takes forever response times glacial and menus too puzzling Bottom line Keep 311 on speed dial until this app gets a major update     Good IdeaLousy Execution
Its clear that this app works but so far everything Ive reported has not been responded to Parking violations Nope City property being used for personal purposes Nope DC appears to be using this to minimize calls to 311 but with no results from this app Im going back to the phone And deleting this app of course     App works but no application

I really like this app Its fantastic The DC government can communicate to its citizens what it will do with the information citizens provide in the app and when work might be done Thats the problem too can communicate but the govt doesnt or it isnt using this app to communicate well The potential is there Someone in the govt please step up and help make the process work for everyone The app is limited because the govt only uses it as a tool to collect info It is so frustrating to report a problem have a assigned to the complaint then have someone with the govt assign a new ticket in a different system that the public cant see and then close the initial complaint you just made Whats the point of that Using this app feels great at first We have a solution Then it really feels so rude People feel used because of the lack of transparency How about keeping the case opened but assigned to a govt office to do the work How about providing an estimated delivery date But no Instead the policy is for the govt employee to close the issue after assigning it to another tracking system that is closed to the public eyes There is no accountability or information in the app about why this is done or when this will change VERY frustrating           Great App tool better govt use needed
I tried to report that a water hydrant was running and the closest category was utility repair With no option for other I hope my report is viewed           Crashes too often and the categories are too limiting
Others have commented on how their reported issues never get taken care of I used this app to report one issue on May 7 It was due to be completed by May 14 It was completed on June 13 I finally got an email notification that it was complete on June 28 I think the app is actually a good app it has a lot of useful features Regarding DC 311 actually following up on the information and completing a service request that is another matter they take forever But generally in DC thats the way it goes Take it or leave it If my service request is going to take two months to get done Ill consider myself lucky and be grateful that I didnt have to talk to some crab on the phone or even worse have to report this in person              Good app but DC 311 takes forever
I used to get reports of others in my area Now suddenly I dont get DC 311 click fix reports from other neighbors I can no longer vote on issues reported     Reports

I hope to see my problem addressed but it is good to see residents reporting their issues and have an interactive backlog of resolvers and unresolved problems              Great tool for an enhanced civic engagement
I was in DC and pulled up to a broken parking meter It had an ad sticker for this app so I downloaded it thinking I could easily find out the Districts policy on parking at broken meters and maybe report it I could do neither at least not during a few minutes of searching It might be good for other purposes maybe for city residents but for visitors I dont recommend it     Not useful for what I needed
Great App Ive used it twice already to set up bulk trash collection Very time efficient compared to calling 311                 Very Usefull

I spent 20 minutes sitting in my car trying to figure out how to pay for a parking meter with this app The parking meter said I could pay this way In completely confused     How to pay for parking
Agreeing with others the app is really good The problem is with follow through on the request once you submit I submitted a request for a neighborhood trash can to be emptied more frequently because it was always overflowing Several days later I got an email from I think DPW saying this was a Parks and Rec can not DPWs responsibility and closing the report Nothing mentioned about whether the issue had been referred to Parks and Rec nothing about how I could followup etc           Great concept no accountability

Latest post the mapping and location is always off I generally enter the correct location in the notes but I get the feeling DC govt CSR doesnt read them Also the status should be available in the app as oppose to me logging in with a case number This makes the app less efficient So I have to downgrade from 4 stars to 3 Previous post I think this app was the best idea to turn your average resident into a responsible citizen My only hope is that the folks working for 311 improve their customer service           Great App but needs improvement

The app is as terrible as the website I registered on the defunct website but the app couldnt find that account After several attempts at using what could have been a useful app I gave up The website was equally useless and worked as if it was created as a high school project Very disappointing if taxpayer funding pays for this     Dont waste your time

This is the worst app that I have used in a while The unfortunate part is that it was built using DC taxpayer money The firm that created this app needs return all the money they were given to build this app and more importantly DC official who hired this company to build this app needs to be fired and investigated for potential conflict of interest     Useless App
