A great port of the old Amiga 500 classic that being said I had it on my C64 and I was hooked then This is my go to stress reducer stuck in airports Drs visitsdesert Islands ect ect ect Easiest best buy on the internet                 Best Game Out

Its all good And they keep making it better                 The Best Strategy Game

This app is one of the best strategy games out there I used to spend days glued to my screen as a kid playing this classic And I still get sucked in just as easily Overall though I agree with turtles comment Perfect port with only a few tricky issues New maps are great an online community of custom and maps and maps for sale even better I never need to buy heros just let them rest a turn and then try youll rarely loose Also if there could be some sort of drop down menu to select individual parties and troop types it would be great Ive had plenty of ships get stuck in the ocean because their destination was taken and the auto move forgot about it Of course you can hit next or previous till you find it but when youve got hundreds of troops its hard to keep track                 Exellent port Classic game play for hours on end

I used to love this game for the Mac in the early 90s and this game brings back most of that magic If I were to nitpick I wish the castles would be customized to their tribes like the original instead of just using the generic castle that changes color Also since it shares some of the maps and units from Warlords II I wish it would have shared other features such as the ability to add production in any city Overall however the game is great and Ive spent hours playing it Well worth the money                 Brings Back Great Memories

Its still as fun to play as I remember it but the maps unit information are WAY too small on my iPhone 5 Need a way to zoom in on the minimap enlarge the text info              Fun but

downloaded this app listed as 5 and a minute later I see Ive actually been charged 17 and no i hadnt even played a game of it yet Buyer beware                 SCAM listed as 5 charges you 17

This port to iPhone and iPad is exceptional Better than most iPhone or iPad games and when you have no internet connection eg airplane or similar probably the best game you can have on your device Also no necessary micro transactions so you pay much less than for most free games over time Get it                 Incredibly good game

I used to waste hours of my time on my PC playing this game Now I waste hours of my time on my iPad playing this game I would like to see the battles unfold when the AI attacks me Other than that no complaints                 Excellent port

I played this years ago and its still as much fun as I remember it I hope a new generation of gamers doest overlook this classic And hey its got 8bit graphics so its new and cool Cant wait to see continued enhancements from Warlords II                 Long term playability

This is a great fun strategy game I used to spend hours if not days playing this with my friends Even alone vs the CPU its pretty fun Something about the balance of strategy vs random elements in that game is just perfect Missing feature Random maps Random maps fog of war would make for some interesting twist on the game Also multiplayer games should allow the opponents to choose their colors rather than assigning them one                 Awesome Like the original

20 years ago my friends and I would spend entire weekends playing Warlords The graphics may be dated but the gameplay holds up I wish there were more maps and you could adjust the winning conditions win with 60 or 70 of the castles                 Terrific game

First off you have already got to love this game to play it on a iPhone Your first time ever playing Warlords iPad is the only option At home thats what I do but I love it so much Ill put up with the limited controls and extremely limited details on the phone Second I know there are purists and Warlords I II players out there but PLEASE update those maps and sprites with the ones from III If the rules from III take precedence over the other versions then so can the graphics It pains me and I dont get to use all 6 maps because of the backwards porting But no regrets on my purchase Having fun              Fun with a few issues

Good remake two things they should fix is that AI wont use ships and battles attacking human player are unseen                 Hours of fun

First off its great that you put the effort into making this happen This is a gem download and very much worth the purchase Drink a few cups of coffee less for a couple days and buy it especially if you remember playing it on old Apple 2 computers Pros 1 iPad commands are so much easier than clunky mouse and pad Good stuff 2 You recaptured warlords in all its glory No more sitting around a computer with your friends but instead you can pass these light iPads around the table Plus multiplayer via Internet too Or if you have no friends like me I can just sit around being horse lords on Friday night Winwinwin 3 New maps are nice particularly ones that keep with the old graphics Thats where the charm of this game really is You use imagination for the rest Cons 1 Take that silly inapp purchase button off the screen or at least make a way to disable it Nobody is going to buy heros or dragons for a 20 year old game except little kids who are too dumb to realize their decision Look you like money great Bring out a random map generator addon put out some new maps be creative Your target audience is over 25 We will pay for decent stuff not silly garbage 2 I appreciate the work but the updated graphics take away from the game Stick old school for best results Its meant to look old 3 I would love to actually see the computer trample my light infantry Please make an option to view the attack on my troops like it is when I attack them Adds to the replayability In the end its good But it an be better Random maps old school design these will lead you to great stuff for us old people Ce              Close but heres a few ideas

Easy to play and fun                 Cool game

the game has horrible Ai even on the hardest difficulty and mix and map maps that dont follow the original also the ai cant build boats which makes no sense There is no questing which was my favorite part of the game and heroes die easily in ruins combine that with the fact that you can buy heroes with allies it killed this app for me Lastly the multiplayer is bad too because anyone that starts to lose simply doesnt have to log back into the game theyre losing in and it will just stay in forever and wont count for anyone     Horrible knockoff

Seems now they are charging for a Hero every time I explore my Hero gets slain I love the game but it does leave a bad taste Exploring ruins isnt worth it anymore           Dead Hero

Thanks for bringing this great game back I agree that a zoom feature for iPhones would make it even better              Classic

Brings back great memories of my childhood The developer did a great job porting this one Only requests are bring back the ability to do quest for Heroes buying additional troop type production at castles and add a few of the magical items like the boots of speed that gives the hero double movement or the magical wings item that allows for flight to the hero Additional maps are always welcomed                 Great strategy game

There are many things that can be perfected in this game but Warlords classic one of the best if not THE best strategies in the store And your chances to win in multiplayer version are NOT based on the extra goodies you buy via inapp purchase Just like it used to be before freemium concept ruined the essence of good strategy                 Greta strategy that doesnt rely on inapp purchases
