Before using the app go to settings scroll down to the app click on it Go to location click always Open app find red car tap it move it to your location Now when you start the app if it goes over Africa just scroll it over your car The red and green buttons should illuminate My main complaint is I should not have to tell the app where I am it s using GPS it should know where I am                 IFind My Car DonDOne

First you have to figure out how to deal with the Africa start page Then you have a 50 50 chance that it will remember your location It lost my car this weekend at an air show These types events are field type parking and is almost essential that these apps do what you paid for What s worse after it looses the data there is no history of previous pins     Frustratingly undependable Gjellis

The reason I like this app despite the Africa glitch Mentioned by Mad Player 1 is that it works without having to have a wifi or cellular data connection unlike Maps and most other find my car apps All it needs is GPS satellite reception and it just points you in a straight line to your car If wifi or cellular is available it will provide a background map We travel in Europe frequently I turn off data roaming on my iPhone because it is so expensive and most of the time there is no wifi either This is an excellent app for finding your way back to the tour bus ship or other meeting point                 Can use without wifi or cellular data oregonpete

Got this over a year ago and it hasn t been updated since Does NOT work I am now aware of another reviewer s tip to move your thumb over the map but found myself stuck staring at Africa this past weekend while in an unfamiliar area That s enough to kick this app to the curb permanently and place the dev on my forever blacklist     Avoid TreoRenegade

When you open the app an find the satellite hovering over Africa or Europe move the map with your thumb and locate the USA You will magically find your correct location At this point the buttons become un shaded and useful They need to fix this glitch             Figured out Africa glitch Mad Player 1

I used to LOVE this app As a pilot constantly parking in huge airport parking lots this app was tremendously helpful even if the graphics were a bit dated However after updating to iOS 7 the app constantly crashes and refuses to start If I can keep it going the bearing distance functions are blank or incorrect Once the developer hopefully updates this should again be a great app Until then DO NOT purchase if you re using iOS 7         Does NOT work with iOS 7 munkeepilot

Nice little app but requires user to close the app after pinning the car and to re open the app to access Find my Car Find my Car should be accessible immediately after pinning the car without having to close and re open the app I hope the developers will incorporate that change into an update             Nice but techageguy

Very easy to use The only think I d like to see that isn t here is a notes function That way you could keep track of what level you re on in a multi level garage or know what lot name number you re parked in even row and space number if you wanted to be that meticulous about it Knowing what level you re on in a garage or parking structure is pretty valuable when all the floors look alike and knowing the lot name or number is valuable if you need to actually take a shuttle to wherever you parked                 really simple in a good way Primen8

This app works as advertised up to a point Its major weakness is in GPS acquisition to place the car I understand the long acquisition time is a product of the iPhone GPS receiver and the GPS transmissions from multiple satellites And those are issues beyond Acjr s abilities to fix But there are a few things they can do to make this the whiz bang application it can be First reprogram WMTMC to run in the background so that it is continually tracking on GPS even when other apps are being used 3G S and above have multitasking capabilities use them so that the GPS and current location are there as soon as WMTMC is brought up to locate my car I really don t care to stand there in the broiling sun or in the feezing snow and wind while waiting for the GPS and my current location to come up so I can mark my car s location Second cause the map size to be automatic based on the range between the car location and the current location I should not have to tap the screen to zoom in to improve visuals of what s around me and help orient myself relative to the car Finally add voice directions You can t imagine how many times I ve been almost run over in a parking lot because I had my eyes glued on the WMTMC arrow rather than looking out for myself Simple commands like bear right 20 degree or straight ahead 50 meters would be helpful and make using the product safer When pushing a supermarket cart with voice directions one could put the iPhone in a pocket and use two hands to guide and push the cart around while receiving voice commands As it is we have to push with one hand while trying to read the arrow held in the other But all in all WMTMC is the best car locating app out there for finding a car in a large parking lot It doesn t do streets and such but the are other apps for that Maps that comes with the iPhone can do that by streets in fact I recommend this app if you have difficulty finding your car in the parking lot of a shopping mall or outside a big sports event It s the only one offered by the App Store that does the job properly and intuitively             GPS is the weak link eyeonthescreen

A bit disappointed last three times I used it was slow to boot up and didn t mark my car in the correct place Also the view through camera mode doesn t work well at all The virtual car drifts all over the place Also there doesn t seem to be a place to take notes as to what level your parked on             Ok Not_Keith

This is my second review of this app In the first one I gave it 4 stars now it has clearly earned the 5th one Not only for it s updates to iOS4 but an important fact that s not usually considered when reviewing apps How well the authors stand behind them I have written to them 4 times with concerns and they have responded every time and delivered the correct updates to an already great application I understand that not all developers have the time or staff to answer all emails so when they can or do it is greatly appreciated Apps thanks to Apple has become a very big part of our lives When you spend only 99 cents but the company treats you as of you spent 99 00 with a great app and equal service what more could you ask for P S I have used jut about every car location app this is the one that works just as described Thank you Modility                     A job well done kboone

The app crashes often and the walk me button doesn t work unless I exit the program If it hasn t crashed by then it merely draws a line between my car and my current location it offers no street navigation directions Maybe I m missing something but the support site has no information In fact it doesn t even load in Safari on my phone or on my iMac I tried to use the app on two iPhones my old 3G and my new 4 It worked on neither     Doesn t work Pastry Puff

ok so let me tell you how unacurate this thing is first i sat in my car and saved my car location then i walked into my house and turned on the walk me to my car option so i then walked back out of my house and onto my front porch and pointed my phone cam at my car and yet the car icon showed me that my car was parked across the road in my neighbors house im sorry but if this thing isnt acurate enough to lead me to my car from my house to my driveway then im not trusting it to lead me to my car in a parking lot filled with hundreds of cars and yes i did everything the correct way and even tried it lots of times until i finally gave up and the funny thing is that each time i tested this it showed me that my car was in a different location each time It never got it right ONCE     Crap App ZigMason

I don t see how ANYONE could rate this app any higher than me It s honestly the worst app I ve used so far It doesn t even come close to being the slightest bit accurate You re so much better off just using Google Maps and taking some notes Relying on this at all will end in you mindlessly searching the parking lot in the wring direction I have a 3GS that has a very functional GPS until I try and use the app and then everything goes nuts Says I m 180 deg in the wrong direction and 82 ft away from my car when I m opening the cardoor I bypassed all the other lower rated find my car equivalents because this had a whopping THREE stars I now that s not great but better than the rest out there Now I don t see how it s completely nonfunctional Constantly says to to do the figure 8 recalibration but it never excepts it There s nothing around my device to interfere with it either I m utterly dissatisfied with this     Seriously HammitMK

This is app is by far better than the other Take me to my car apps in the app store For one you cannot not find your car or whereever you set the pin at because even if you happen to pass up your car the arrow and blue line are still pointing you in the right direction The only thing that i would ask the developer to improve on is for a faster Gps lock to also make it useful when driving Overall i have tried out this app both walking and driving and have found it to be very accurate and easy to follow Once the developer makes some more improvements and updates i will change my rating to a 5 star                     Works better than the rest Robert Weissfisch
