Did not work on first try Completely closed all other apps where stylus was previously connected and then completely closed the firmware update app Restarted the firmware update and it finished in less than a minute I have spent a lot of money testing various pens for taking notes in combination with light duty engineering sketches in the field This stylus is the best so far but only when used with GoodNotes and when set up correctly in GoodNotes settings Also works well in Noteshelf and depending on writing style seems to work better in portrait view I am using an iPad Air 2 Works
Im suppose to get some free software by linking the fine line pen to the bamboo paper app In order to do that the instructions say to use this app first Since this doesnt work for me I contacted their Wacom customer support They were not helpful in resolving these problems and havent responded to my replies since the last one where I suggested they need to improve their customer support Dont waste your time with this app until they have released an update that enables this app to actually work Doesnt work
this app simply does not do what its supposed to I tried to update my Fineline stylus and it looked like it was working until it gets to the final screen where it says its updating but the progress indicator never leaves 0 I tried this 5 times with the same result despite letting it go beyond the 15 minutes the app claims it takes doesnt work
The app shows and update is available after the Connect the Dots exercise however the percentage complete circle never progresses It simply sits there at 0 If the pathetic stylus to screen offset still exists as well as the unacceptable lag This stylus will continue to be an expensive physical paper weight as it sits in its case Not happy I should have returned it to Best Buy when I had the chance Does not update my Creative Stylus 2
The other two comments are correct I am having the same trouble updating the stylus from this app With that said it does work but not a good as the cheap stylus that I purchased from Amazon for about less than 2 Hopefully they will work this out but considering the date stamps that I see I am holding my breathe If they fix that the stars may go up AGREED WITH THE PROBLEMS
It does need work but nothing that the developers couldnt handle if they tried Love Wacom and Im hoping they fix the issues Not bad
When I say dont it means this is trash this company has made pen tip styluses that dont work and dam sure dont work on competitor products as they state to get your or our hard earned everyone picket this company King Kilo says dont
The pen is highly inaccurate making impossible to use for note taking tried multiple apps hoped this update would fix the issues it didnt Another case of a nice piece of hardware let down by the supporting software when will developers learn that testing is important if they want customers to use their products I wont be buying any more Wacom products Avoid the fineline pen

Ive been waiting for an update to the firmware to correct the multiple issues using the Fineline with IPad Air 2 So this would be a very welcome app However this app is not working I get to the final screen the link takes place the violet light on the stylus turns on but the inapp completion indicator never leaves 0 In a few minutes the violet light turns off So neededbut so not working
On an ipad 2 neither the pad nor the pan can find each other The website is even worse Product tutorials are nothing more than adds Dont get the pen or the app Nothing about this is very good

Updated the stylus and there is still a terrible offset that they havent corrected Also an unacceptable lag The only app that the stylus works correctly with is wait for itWacom Bamboo Paper Who would have guessed Stylus going back to Best Buy tomorrow Im going back to my original Creative Stylus It may have a fat tip and has its pfaults but at least it works Boo to you Wacom Still not working right

This app is CRAP I am trying to pair and it clearly says it is the fine line and when I try to connect the dots as it asks it says I am trying to connect the wrong device I regret splurging on this device even if it was on sale Boooo
