WA State Election Results

Thought this was suppose to give live results Not working so far at all Its 815pm still nothing     Not working

This app was a great idea first it was FREE and second there was a link to elections website But a few improvements are needed1 add push notifications 2 able to select your individual choice of voted items for better tracking 3 include select local levieselected officialsetc in the individuals area 4 summary page for quicker viewing instead of selecting each initiativeelected official for results 5 UPDATED 2012 have a check mark next to the individualinitiative that I voted for Otherwise thanks for all the improvements Increased rating              Great idea but need improvements visually

I took the time to set up all my races then the screen froze then went blank What a day for the app to go down     Useless

This is a good start but I hope it will be improved for future elections The data is very fragmented you have to constantly drill down to every individual result that you are interested in and you have to remember exactly what district etc you are interested in To be honest this kept me from using this application very much Three things would really improve this app in my opinion First and I think most importantly flatten a lot of the data so the user can simply scroll through a list of current totals rather than having to drill down on each race individually Second and less important but would be hugely helpful allow the user to mark favorites and present the results of all those and nothing else on a special Favorites list so the user can easily see the racesmeasures that they are most interested in without the clutter of other items Third allow the user to enter their address so that they dont have to go research what ballot items apply to them separately Try to look it up their address in their address book first but allow them to override it so that they can easily look up results for a friend or relative Then show the corresponding races and measures allowing the user to easily favorite any or all of the results I suggest not automatically adding the results to their favorites specifically so that they can look at results for friendsfamily without suddenly having a bunch of favorites that they dont want and now have to go remove being careful to not remove any that they actually do want Another feature that I would love since a lot of the measure names can be confusing it would be great if I could indicate my desired result in a given race or measure and the app would show some icon or something indicating how well or how poorly each choice is doing and perhaps an overview of that info 13 of 20 items going your way sort of thing If this were available before the actual election I could even use it as a kind of voters guide where I note my preferences as I research then when it comes time to actually vote I can refer to the app to remind myself of what I chose for each item           Helpful but too fragmented

This is good start and definitely will evolve into something much greater I found it very useful to be able to see results in the iPhone application format Good work              Thumbs up

I must be missing something here The news has been reporting the results on ballots sent in to date If this app does not have access to the same resultsit is pointless in my opinion Effort lost     Where are the results

Nice app I find myself wishing that I didnt have to drill down for each race eg the Congressional races Just show them all topline and let me drill in The other HUGE weakness is that unlike the website it does not show the time that the last ballots were actually dropped in Still a great start Just bring it to parity with your already excellent website and you are all done           Solid start

Its election night and the results are rolling in on TV radio Internet everywhereexcept on this app So far this app does nothing at least not on my iPad3 Im talking nothing No results So I must say its not worth the money which is sad because its free Dont waste your time with this one     No good

I was really excited about this app but I used it on election night and the results were consistently behind what was being reported on TV and news sites If youre a big enough election nerd to download an app to track results then you want the fastest possible resultsyou dont want to be 10 or 15 minutes or more behind what you see on local news the Slog etc This app does a good job of mirroring the barebones content on the Secretary of State site and making it easier to access although it leaves out obvious features like telling you the percentage of the vote thats in but its worthless for uptotheminute totals     late barebones results

Not necessarily a useful comment at this moment 1030 PM election night but number of precincts reporting would add a TON of context Since I dont know how many people voted total I dont know how to take these results Otherwise an awesome service to provide              Great but how many precincts are reporting

Nice little app beats trying to load the website Would be nice to have districts on a WA map for reference              Nice but could use a map

I like the app but it seems the Measures category has a bug it wont scroll to show more than the initial screen              Measures category won

This app will save me some time from having to search the web for updated results Suggestions 1 Header should remain at top for access to main menu wo scrolling 2 Swipe right for menu sporadic 3 Need back function for submenu navigation once a race is accessed cant access other races wo restarting at main menu 4 Add To My Races button doesnt always accurately reflect the status of a race in the My Races section              Good needs improvements

This is a good looking app and is pretty close in numbers with the tv                 Great app

This app was great in concept but only good in practice You had to go through too many screens to see the result Esp the Legislative races They should have been viewable after you selected a district Having a separate page for each position took too long to look through Also like some of the other reviews a favorites page would have been a neat feature Hopefully some improvements can be made before he next election           Good but could be better

So glad this exists I travel so finding out the results where I live is a challenge Improvement suggestions would be adding percentage of votes returned and a way to determine my state district number              Awesome

I love that theres an App for WA state The app isnt really fullfeatured but its nice not to have to load the website and to have realtime figures available The app seems kind of disposable I hope that this one is updated for future elections and not forgotten and discarded           Nice little disposable app

This app is sub par It only shows the state results for elected officials and state initiatives and national results Not a good app if you want to know what is happening at the local level     Not enough info

I assume the data are correct which is commendable but the UI at least for legislative races is terrible If I want to check more than one districts results this requires too many extra steps unintuitive backtracking and needless frustration The previous Secretary of State had an excellent app that allowed among other things seeing the results for all 49 districts on a single page To see all the results for all districts now involves Im guessing here because I gave up hundreds of operations How about reviving the former app for future elections        Poorly designed

I use this app every election to track the numbers Pretty easy to navigate I wish it would remember my favorites between elections though And a map showing the basic divisions of congressional and legislative districts would be handy I can usually remember my own but not always neighboring district numbers EDIT The ios8 update is no fun It didnt just update but overwrote and did not save any of the My Races info I had saved There are too many steps now to get to the information in each race having to drill down 4 steps sometimes The previous version of this app worked wonderfully and was slim not bulky Somebody also needs to do some reading up on how white text on black background isnt the super edgy thing it was when the internets first started You guys messed up the update        Very handy

Works well simple and easy to use Not sure why the bad reviews I would definitely recommend Local races would be a nice addition in the future                 Great app
