Vanguard for iPad

A prior review said you cant paste in a password from a password manager like 1Password Apparently thats been fixed because I just did it The app itself could be a model for how a well done iPad app looks and works                 Password cut paste does work

Vanguard is obviously very active in developing their app I like that I can get statements and handle most tasks right from the app Needs Touch ID but Im sure theyre working on it              Good app continues to get better

Cant even get to log on page closed accounts and moved to fidelity     Horrible

Was a good app Now useless Have to go through the internet site to trade     Stopped working can no longer use for trades

No support for IOS 6 TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE     Bummer

Previous versions of the Vanguard mobile app were so poor I deleted them from my iPad and used the website instead Gave this update a try and was pleasantly surprised no crashes yet easy to navigate and switches seamlessly to the full website depending on the menu selection Definitely worth downloading                 Excellent Improvement

Really like what they have done to the app but would like to see a total daily change of value for a mutual fund portfolio If I own 10 funds I would like to know what the total daily change in value for the portfolio would be without doing mental calculations              Great App Missing some things

This app resets to the initial view every time you leave the app This means when I try to go back and forth between this app and 1Password to get my credentials it resets I have no reasonable way to login so I have to delete it     Cant login

I have an iPad 1 running os5 After the upgrade I couldnt sign in it wont even let me get to the password section     Cant sign in

Very disappointed in Vanguardno concern for customers using older iPads Wonder how much Apple paid them and others to try and force those of us with older iPads to buy up when we have perfectly serviceable tablets Maybe I need to look at more customerfriendly companies to partner with because they sure arent interested in me     Poor Customer service

With all the hype about using strong passwords this app does nothing to encourage or help customers to do so Strong password would be impossible to remember as they would be different for every site and very long This app should integrate Touch ID andor the 1Password extension This would make it easy for us to use extremely complex passwords     Needs better security features

Faster to snailmail a deposit than try the mobile deposit feature on this app        Mobile Deposit

Way too much white space on the my account page I like the prior version much better     New version is awful

I find this app to be very useful It would be even better if it used 1Password extensions and TouchID           Useful app

I have a perfectly working Generation 1 iPad IOS 51 I use it with all of my other financial institutionsnot usable with Vanguard What brilliant mind put through this upgrade I have no intention of upgrading so I guess I will switch all of my accounts to Fidelity     USELESS FOR ME

Vanguard has the most idiotic app one can imagine It does not even provide the most rudimentary financial summary for a financial account Instead it is really keen to collect information from you personal information which have nothing to do with your finances     A 12yearold could come up with something better

Its a bummer that Vanguard decided to kill the app for people that havent updated to iOS 7 or 8 Why not just let us use the old version Since I cant update to iOS 7 anymore and iOS 8 would run like a slug on my older iPad it looks like Im SOL Shame     Pulled the rug out

I can not believe Vanguard would shut out old I pad users Maybe time to move my accounts so I can gain access I do not like being forced into buying new hardware Continually tinkering with upgrades is very frustrating     Ditto Frustration

This new update really works toward fixing prior issues Really love the portfolio analysis feature                 Great app

I am going through the app navigating screens Suddenly I get a calendar reminder I tap ok to dismiss the pop up only to discover that I am logged out of vanguard once again Being logged out for every micro event brings this app rating to rock bottom     Frustrating

It is unfortunate that the average rating of this app has been dragged down by customers upset that it doesnt work on old devices If it is compatible with your device it is an excellent application from an excellent company                 Welldesigned easy to use app

I love Vanguard but am quite happy with ios6 even though my iPad can run ios8 I get new features are cool but you should not force updates on customers     Not happy no backward compatability

The rest of the app is ok Just dont expect the mobile check deposit to work Because it doesnt        Mobile check deposit is a worthless waste of time

The last version was bad This is even worse Before at least I could see my account totals Now it has the same problem as the iPhone version Just get the Try Again message for all accounts     Even worse

Suddenly I can no longer use the app and have a perfectly good iPad that only runs ios6 Stupid stupid stupid Ready to move my investments somewhere else since they have on balance really sucked with Vanguard this year anyway Is dumb and dumber working there     Version 4

Agree with DAHM If you have strong passwords and use a tool like 1Password this app is useless Does not even allow cutpaste to log in The web site is the only practical way to access Vanguard The developers should know better     Needs strong password support

The Vanguard app has come a long way from its initial versions My only complaint is that you cannot do VanguardAdvantage bill pay through the app Ignore the complaints about it not being compatible with ios6 Time to upgrade guys                 New app was a significant improvement

Can no longer paste into the password field This makes using secure random passwords eg from 1Password pretty much impossible        Password paste no longer works

Ignore all three previous reviews Vanguard is the biggest and the best investment company bar none Only the uninformed pay the ridiculous fees charged by other investment advisers Studies document that those other companies selling stock picking and market timing actually give their customers worse total returns In fact they sell onesizefitsall plans and charge such high fees that there customers make less money than they would using Vanguard The app is great and puts an incredible amount of data at your disposal Many other investment companies appear to expend great efforts to prevent customers from accessing so much timely information about their investment performance                 Vanguard Rocks

The inability to paste in a password makes this app effectively useless I use long complex nonsense passwords stored in a secure password vault There is no effective way to manually type in such a password Please fix this        Cant Paste Password

How do companies in this day and age release such horrible apps that do nothing right Seriously guys maybe a little QA next time Logs you out when you try and do anything cant buysell ugh Not worth the time it took to download Literally     Just awful

My iPad3 downloaded and updated the app automatically While I have not attempted any trades yet I am impressed with every element of the app so far It is easy to use and snappy in response to input No complaints but I do have a current iOS installed so it was seamless                 Clear Easy to Use Quick and Visually Attractive

The app keeps giving Error message when I try and buy more of the same fund The website works just fine     Cant buy anything

This iPad app is very versatile and meets all my needs Not doing any trades I have had none of the experiences some claim This is straight forward and full of information                 Love It

The Vangaurd app is missing numerous important features that the Fidelity app includes Detailed itemized views of performance A list of top account gainers and losers Ability to see percentage returns Ability to see graphical representation of performances Information on the markets and other business news After using the Fidelity app I feel really disappointed that Vangaurd would put together such an uninspiring app that doesnt even cover the bare essentials let alone present information in a user friendly manner     Vangaurd needs to study the Fidelity app

I am one of those that has an older I pad What do you plan to do so we can access our accounts 30 days should be enough time for you to respond before I move my and my wifes accounts           New app
