I entered my vessel information but cannot save because the virtual number key pad covers up the save button at the bottom of the screen Closing and reopening the app has not solved the problem This bug needs to be fixed ASAP     Unable to save vessel information 44RAIN

Dan it s real I work at USCG Sector St Pete fl where this app was developed 2 years in the making and tested by one the busiest search and rescue areas in the entire Coast Guard The Comdt approved this app and you can call me anytime and speak with our command center who was the test bed                     Only boating app endorsed by such JesusChrist1988

I have serious doubts this is official USCG as the language is off Punctuation and tense are and some sentences running on and countering the previous rules I would not give my boat or personal info to this app The links to USCG are legit but app looks to paraphrase that info and is not very comprehensive     Doubt it s official USCG DallasDan7878

This is a comprehensive easy to use app and should be with every recreational boater on the water Not only is it a treasure trove of useful info that red Request Assistance button is a must have Things can change fast on the water and having a call for help at your fingertips is a no brainer I m a fan of privacy but I entered my Profile and vessel description also a no brainer Hoping I never need the red button but glad to have it Thank you USCG                     Wonderful Resource JfromNC

Overall a great start to a one stop shop for recreational boating safety The app has a few bugs when entering data where the keyboard swaps between numeric and letters The NOAA buoy interface is quick and responsive I used to draft up my own float plans on my computer but this app handles the task easier I like how you can save your vessel details within the user profile It ll be interesting to see if there are false emergency reports if a child plays with the phone and accidentally calls for help Maybe incorporate a password that has to be entered first before the call goes through Otherwise great job                     Long overdue but a great tool nonetheless SemperFarr

This is a great app It should be a must for boaters and the USCG should make everyone aware in their safe boating classes The app does have some minor errors and a confusing illustration or two otherwise 5 stars                 Great app Orlando FL

Downloaded and installed to my iPad love the easy to read typeface critical info at my fingertips At my age I can t remember everything and this app has all the right features I really appreciate the privacy feature Florida state FWC data appears slow to download but I suspect that is due to large amount of data be sure to read the latest accident report perhaps it will convince to wear your life jacket at all times Yes this means the highly experienced boater over 51 years of age most likely person to drown in a boating accident last year 2014 there was three fatalities while the boat was tied to the dock I give this App 5 stars For a first version this App is outstanding                     Fab App for Saving Lives Venice Boat
