Ultimate Guitar Tabs HD - Subscription

Let me first say I like this app Originally they charged for a lifetime membership which I happily paid but since then their add ons should be included to lifetime members I really dont like their nickel and dime approach for add ons especially for those of us who purchased lifetime memberships              Good app but over the years they have been some what deceptive

Very easy to find chords to even obscure songs It has helped me tremendously with my solo act You really need to try it              Nicely done

So Ive been using this site for over 10 years Never had a problem with it Now I try to go to the site and it tells me I have to download the app to view itOk I can deal with that But come to find out once I download that app I have to PAY for a subscription in order to view anything when I used to be able to just go onto the web site and view it for FREE Seriously What the hell is wrong with you people This was once my go to site for learning songs but now what ever corporate rtard is behind this had to screw it up One star dont download dont support this BS     Really

Then I could give this app the 5 stars it deserves The fact what even though I paid the money for a lifetime membership for the app but still have to pay for tab pro on my PC is just blatant theft I have no tolerance for this I will continue to use the app but this is totally not worth spending your money on Go buy some tab books or something     If only it was cross platform

I gig several times a month and also lead worship This app helps me keep my set lists fresh in both areas all the time I dont know what I would do without it                 Great tool

I suggest maybe putting in different ways or options to tune the guitar maybe put in a scale that is kind of like guitarbots tuner              The tuner should be more easy too use

I like this app Its great for helping me learn songs The first UG had printing which was a great feature but I have not been able to find it on the HD app Not all of the tabs posted are 100 correct but even if they arent they provide a good starting point to learning songs NEEDS PRINTING FEATURE              Needs to be able to print

Im a 36 year old amateur and this app does everything I wished that paper and a laptop would do Speed scrolling feature is sweet The iPad app is super functional and easy to use once you get a feel for the layout                 Really cool

This app requires subscription to use even the most basic features that the nonmobile website has Skip this app and just use the site on a PC Any review over 2 stars here is definitely fake and should be ignored For your own sake avoid this awful money grab of an app     Ripoff

I have had this app for a long time From the taps to tuner to metronome it is a great app Buy it                 Buy it

Tons of songs to learn                 Great app

I use to have a binder 3 thick full of tabs I printed off the internet Now when I want to entertain I can look up any song I want and even transpose the chords to match my vocal range                 Better than the old binder

This is by far the best app for learning to play and becoming a proficient player It is awesome                 Best music app

I just bought an electric acoustic and there were some songs I needed to relearn This app has helped me a great deal with so many songs to choose from I would recommend this to anyone who is a beginner to advance player                 Great app

When I try to add a song to a playlist it wont show ALL of the songs that are under my Favorites Help           PLEASE FIX

My kids myself band have learned several hundred songs on Ultimate Guitar We use the app on our ipad for jams performances It is awesome                 Best Resource

Why force users to download this app to see your website and then require a subscription to view the tabs once you download the mandatory app Used to love your site now Im just frustrated with it     Sketchy Business Practices

It is a great app as a beginner I have found the features very helpful It would be nice if it had the mini practice games like some other apps Reason for docking it a star is that if you have an iPad and iPhone you must pay the fee twice as it does not restore purchase              Great app

This free app has ZERO features unless you pay for a subscription to something that is already free online and which is totally driven by users who submit tabs Im all for paying for extra features like the metronome tuner and the pro tabs but not to simply view chords charts that are already otherwise free     Useless unless you pay

This app has saved me dozens of times at my piano bar gig when I sort of know a melody but need words and a basic chord structure Some of them are REALLY off base but I can almost always find one thats been imported thats basically accurate and I can work off of it The transposing option is a huge help too You have to have a level of intuitive musicianship to play in anything that uses flats as they arent used in the app but Im telling you if you just need a boost and you can play piano by ear this app is a huge help              Love it

I use this app everyday what a wonderful app for those who play                 Everyday play

I teach guitar and this is full of useful information for musicians as well as guitar strummers and hobbyists It is always being upgraded and new stuff is added every week One day it will be the greatest source for music of all styles                 This is a most useful and worthy purchase

As a sometime guitar player for fun I find this app a delightful addition to my playing I can quickly find lyrics and chords for thousands of song I gladly paid the full price and feel it was worth the price As a sometime guitar player I need the chords above every line of the song Many of the songs only have chords got the first verse and the chorus This method is not really suitable for the scrolling feature My request Allow the addition of local files into the favorites area This way I could fix the file and use the scroll feature to the fullest                 Review Suggestion

I used to read music but with the abundant tabs available for songs I only use tab these days From what Ive seen this is one of the better apps to be able to choose from a ton of variations of same songs to fit your abilities Some people write tabs that are very accurate but then difficult others just put in the basics and so theyre easier to play The good thing is that you can pick which one you want then save it in your favorites The tab of the day is really cool with a midi recording to play along with but they have yet to update the app to let you favorite or organize the tabofthedays              Very good learning tool but still need TOD organization capability

Hello I would like to print out my favorite songs but do not see anywhere on the main page to do such Am I missing something If I cannot print out the songs then I will probably cancel my subsription And ask for a refund or contact Visa and have them cancel the transaction due to lack of being able to print out songs Many thanksBob        Print out songs u

When I first started using Ultimate Guitar it was on the website It was so useful that I bought pro When I heard about the app I was quick to get bad mistake Apparently when you buy pro on the computer it doesnt mean you will get pro on the app even when you sign in under your account Instead the company that made this requires you to purchase pro separately for another 3040 It was fine at first I was able to get through with the free tabs but after the most recent update everything changed Now you must pay to even use the tabs supplied by the app If you are going to use Ultimate Guitar use the website I would not recommend this app to anyone ever again If I could I would take my money back and simply buy a guitar book     Biggest Ripoff I Have EVER Seen

I would really find this app a lot more useful if there were better options for browsing the song library A good option would be to be able to browse by song categories and songs could be filed in more than one category when relevant At present the only browsing of this sort is in the tab packs but the options in the song packs are limited both in variety and tab quality           good tabs especially for tab pro but needs better ways to browse library

Been using this app for a long time now and I still enjoy the simplicity and functionality Easy to use and quick to deliver thats what I like and this one does it in spades                 Simple fast and stable

The app says its free but it wont let you look at a tab without purchasing a subscription If you go on your browser the website blocks you from viewing and forces you to the app Why would I pay 40 for something I can view on my laptop for free     Price Gouging

App is supposedly free but after you download it you have to pay to unlock it which is pretty ridiculous And now I cant access the website from my iPad it forces me to get the app for free ultimate guitar was my favorite website but now I wont be using it anymore     not free

Easy to use simple format and has most of the songs Ive looked up Most have more than one version to choose from and my favorite feature Automatic transposition I can pitch the chords up or down to fit a different instrument or use without a capo                 Good App
