Type on PDF

This app has some promise It already does a lot of things but needs a bit more polish For one the ability to create a text box in stead of typewriter mode would be helpful If the text box allowed you to select all the text and resize it it would make this app 5 stars alone Other than that its a great app and worth the price           Good app great potential

I had high hopes for this app but was very disappointed After spending quite some time to fill in a form using this tool and printing it I found out the quality of the information I typed was horrible and the document unusable I do not know if the developers will take care of this but if not do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this app        Very poor quality of typed in info

can not open from mail or other programs in Type on PDF not in the list of supported programs So how to use the program     not working

Just got and love it I had two pdf forms to fill out and was thrilled to use this app rather than printing the form and writing all the information by hand Now I know all the information will be legible It was a little slow to use the first time but that is due to my being unfamiliar with the app and I expect to get quicker with useand I can see my using this app frequently Thanks for a great app                 Fantastic App

When I try to open the app it just glitches out If it didnt do this I would give it three stars I would only give it three because when you cut and paste it just pastes it in a straight line then you can only read half of the text that you pasted Also when you use then pens highlighter and eraser they glitch If I could give this app zero stars I would I am so mad that I bought it     Wont even let me open the app

This app has my school work on it When I print something it completely disappears off the face of the earth Hours of school work gone     DELETES

Can no longer delete files Need erase function for typewriter mode similar to pen mode where you can erase a few lines vs the entire page     Delete feature stopped working

Ripoff Bought the 5 version watched the tutorial Opened the app and all I get is a black screen Wasted 5     Waste

I purchased the regular version and would like the pro If there an upgrade available or do you need to purchase it at full price           Upgrade

Very impressive app Will be nice when iPhone 5 is fully supported I would suggest hiding the time in order to gain extra viewing area Also it is difficult to change the font size once you have started typing or maybe i just need to get more familiar with it This app has many features and you need to watch the videos before using This will be great once the kinks are worked out Wish I had an iPad I could use it on              Great start

Downloaded a form that needed to be completed for the chiropractor and once i figured it out I typed all of the information on the form and then printed it                 Love it

Informative video that explains this app and how to use it pretty well But afterwards when you discover it doesnt work there is no way to contact the app developer for help App support just takes you right into the training video I followed the directions after creating a PDF template and emailed it to my first class account When I tried to open it I received a file cannot be opened unknown file extension error message I then emailed it to my gmail account which will also not open it I did receive a message from Type on PDF that my file had been saved to my documents I cant find it anywhere on my iPad I dont know what documents they are talking about With no way to contact them I guess Im just screwed Save your money on this app people Go buy a Latte instead Note If you type in the support address in you browser you only get a warning that it is a phishing site     Disappointed

Updating review Still no improvement in the degradation of the PDF when zooming in Developer has had plenty of time to fix but instead has released a more expensive Pro version Well designed app Just a few tweaks and it could be perfect First it needs more than one highlight color It would also be great if you can select the text you want to highlight and let the app do it instead of having to do it manually Looks messy when doing it by hand Second and most important when zooming in on a PDF the picture becomes distortedpixelated This app does a good job allowing you to fill out the form but falls down when you want to zoom in to make it easier to read I tested several PDFs in this app and in iBooks and GoodReader and this app doesnt compare to those in rendering while zoomed in Its kind of frustrating to be able to do all that this app allows only to have to use another app to be able to get a good close up view of the finished product This wasnt a deal breaker to me because I will only be using the app occasionally but heavy users probably wont appreciate it Kudos to developer on including very informative instruction video Makes learning to use app easy     Almost there

I think this app has a great deal of potential There are a few items that need to be addressed to make this a five star app 1 Easier undo The default shake to undo is not practical 2 Option to select pen sizethickness 3 Option to erase all images from a page 4 Password protection for documents 5 Option to align text horizontally and vertically 6 Add standard shapes such as check marksfor filling out forms 7 Add standard shapes such as arrows and caption bubbles 8 Option to lock objects to prevent accidentally moving them I will gladly review the app again as improvements are made           Promising but needs improvement

After sharing the document with my partners they couldnt open the file It was sent as a TPD file Adobe or MS Word could not open the files Why would they not be sent out as a locked PDF template or so           Problems opening shared

Absolutely wonderful I utilize a lot of work orders so I use it for signatures I can take pictures of stamp and paste in the document and email Great app Love it Makes all my file sizes small for emailing                 Great APP

This is a very good app I use it to fill out forms all the time As a science teacher I create lab exercises and students with iPads use this app to do the work from putting answers in the right place to putting photos in the lab and annotating them It is pretty easy to get the PDFs into and out of the app from dropbox Overall it is a great app However I guess Id like to see it move between pages more easily It takes a few seconds to move from page to page Its kind of frustrating A nice smooth movement would be great Also we run into a problem using the photo function If you are zoomed in on the bottom of a page and select the photo tool you cant see the camera window You have to zoom out My students get confused and think its not working Also sometimes you type too much and it goes off the page Then you cannot select the text because its off the page It would be nice if you could put the cursor in the text and hit enter to move the extra text to the next line What I would really love would be to switch between documents by swiping left and right That would make it easier to grade assignments              Not bad but could use some tweaks

Like the idea of typing on forms However it seems to freeze up when opening a copied image from the clipboard ie scanned images and docs from email to camera roll              Nhawn

I am having to rewrite 5 different app reviews because of an error by Glad I found VueScan Mobile I did not write that The title of the review was Going paperless dated March 28 2013 The review is about Type on PDF NOT VueScan Mobile Rewrite as follows Type on PDF is truly a great app Had it just over a month Paper saving technology Works great with PDF Splicer and File Pro apps One of my favorite apps 5 stars                 Going paperless

After I first installed it it worked fine but now it wont even open up Please fix this very soon     Not Working

Overall not a bad app Certainly enjoy the ease in which added text to a PDF can be moved and positioned in the document The app is missing one major element the ability to save toload from external sites such as Dropbox Given the bug in iOS where only a limited list of apps are displayed in the Open In dialog box there are situations where I cant get PDFs into Type on PDF Pro for editing If the ability to load from and save to Dropbox was available this would be a 5 star app Right now its only a 2 at best given its functionality is limited by the above Its also not feasible to be constantly deleting and reinstalling apps on my iPad just so Type on PDF Pro shows up in the dialog box        Good but Missing Something
