Tractor Mac Builds

My 5 year old boy and almost 4 year old girl LOVE Tractor Mac We have the paper books and are THRILLED to now have them produced by PicPocket Books as bookapps These apps really bring the books to life with real farm animal and tractor sounds the extra features compliment the stories perfectly The sounds are not too loud so they dont overwhelm the listener But I do wish the sounds would on work AFTER the text is read so it is more of a reward for listening to the whole page and does not interrupt the story Tractor Mac is actually a real tractor we have met him at the Bridgewater Fair in Connecticut great old style country fair that raises money for the local fire department The Tractor Mac series is truly a healthy wholesome great story that is not commercial or trying to sell you anything it is filled with wonderful characters all of whom in their own quiet ways teach children about being a team working together and welcoming new friends All three books released by PicPocket so far are great the books are narrated by Billy Steers the author so they are read just perfectly Tractor Mac Arrives is about how the farm animal greet the new tractor and eventually all find a way to work together Tractor Mac Builds a Barn is about team work Tractor Mac Youre a Winner is about trying your best handling disappointment and celebrating accomplishments But more than anything they are just GREAT STORIES The message is not forced it is naturally told through the story and kids just get it In the front of the books there are detailed labeled illustrations of a tractor and one or two other farm items this is a great feature for kids who want to learn more Tractor Mac Builds a Barn has the additional bonus of teaching about some more traditional construction machines and techniques as well as the parts of a barn reading this story will also teach kids about basic building techniques After reading go play with legos or blocks and build a barn with your kids or draw some pictures of barns You really wont regret getting these and you will probably head towards the Tractor Mac website to find out about the other books in the series and any upcoming appearances at state fairs My kids cant wait to give Tractor Mac a hug again at The Bridgewater Fair in August                 Tractor Mac Teaches Teamwork

This is a wonderful story with illustrations that just jump off the page with detail The pocket format is great to take on the go and the narration by Billy Steers himself is a bonus My kids love these Tractor Mac book                 Really sweet story in a great format
