Easy to use and comprehensive diet app that can help you take control of your weight. Tracker2Go includes access to a large database of over 90,000 food items with no online memberships required or ongoing ...
cannot finish setup freezes when select country radio button is selected        freezes on setup iOS8 issue
After update app wont open Customer service app didnt work either Tried to reinstall and that didnt work so months of data was lost     Update problems
Great app for tracking daily food intake I love the ease of making the portions size adjustments The totals and amount of calories left for the day are also wonderful The tech support and response time is impressive The good news is they are woking on improving this app even morelike the app retaining special food entries so you will not have to type them in every day Thanks Kristin                 tracker2go
It needs improvement on the portion category for foods I like all that it does otherwise It needs attention on editing as well Needs vast improvement on food types as well This app can become terrific with some more work              Like the app but
This app is awesome My favorite one You can even use it when youre not on wifi                 Awesome
Have had the desktop version for a while and just recently discovered the mobile version Im excited about using the mobile so I dont have to lug my computer out of town or remember what I ate all day              Excited
This app is a great example of how quality professional looking apps can be created in a development environment called LiveCode LiveCode uses a language which is a superset of Hypertalk yes the original Hypercard language only on steroids Interface elements are created and placed much like the old Hypercard and later Supercard and Metacard This means that you can produce iStore applications using an easy to learn and understand language without having to know anything about Java or C So now lets talk about the app itself Notice the smooth scroll wheels and other iApp controls Everything is well spaced and well laid out You are never overwhelmed with too many controls that make you think What is that doing there When you first launch the app it takes you through an initialization process to get your age weight height and other factors which can affect your prescribed calorie intake and usage This leads me to believe that there is logic that takes all of this into account Notice also that you can search the internet for other foods not presently in the library I found this extremely handy not being limited to the database that came with the app Then there is a place to enter various physical activities such as sports with different levels of competition to fine tune your calorie usage You can keep track of your weight and see a pie chart of your Carbs Protein and Fat content in the foods you have eaten This apparently is much more than a place to record what you ate and what you did Tracker2Go has intelligent calculations about the food you eat and the kind of exercise you do based on conventional health guidelines making it an extremely useful application without being cumbersome and unwieldy as so many apps tend to do If you are good at using an application of this nature then you will enjoy using this one                 Quality apps in LiveCode
I use Tracker2Go in conjunction with Perfect Diet Tracker Although a member of Weight Watchers I use Tracker2Go and Perfect Diet Tracker in lieu of the Weight Watcher apps Ive lost 75 pounds and theyre the first apps I open in the morning and generally the last ones I close at night The food and exercise databases continue to get broader and greater I could go on endlessly about how much Ive learned about food and nutrition by using them I love the apps Best money Ive ever spent in an app                 My most used and favorite app
Nice app but even using Internet search it cant find a lot of common products Also weight cannot be recorded in increments It has to be rounded up or down which is frustrating when youve lost 5 pounds           Tracker2go
Nice to be able to do updates on my iPad with this app but I have several grouped meals set up on the desktop version of this app Perfect Diet Tracker and theres no provision for this on this iOS app        Cant add groups
I like using it to count but the graphs dont register custom entires And the weight loss increments are a little strange when recording things like 5 pounds lost              Meh
This app lacks the ability to adjust your calorie goals directly because it uses the obsolete BMI method instead of bodyfat percentage To get my real metabolic rate in I had to enter absurd body proportions It also has an annoying click on some entries that you cannot mute I will likely delete this 3 wasted           Mediocre
Ive been using this app to sync to Perfect Diet Tracker for about eight months Ive lost 25 pounds in the process and find being able to switch from recording meals on my iPad or iPhone and having the data show up on my home computer or laptop through Dropbox is not only a timesaver but makes it easy If somethings easy you will end up using it more often and to greater effect The only negative with Tracker2Go is the number of clicks required to enter a food item Once you enter the item you move to another screen and have to click on food then the search window clear the previous item with another click then type your item If you are entering multiple items it would be handy to stay on that screen and not go back to diary Its great to be able to enter exercise but I have the feeling that some of the caloriesburned levels especially for bicycling and walking are a bit high When I compare the calories burned on a bike ride recorded on Strava T2G is almost double I aim to keep using both programs              Very handy set of apps
I think its great I really live it and its easy and convenient                 Dee
Ive tried many others but yours excels by combining surprising restaurant entre calories etc with easy entry daily and graphics to reinforce my painfully slow progress Thanx                 So many others finally your a good one
Ive been using the desktop version for 3 months and love it The sync between this app an the desktop version is great I can add all my intake easily and quickly on the go My favorites or repeat offender foods show up after typing just a few letters The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is the custom exercise additions from the desktop version not syncing to the app The only way I see them here is if they are added from the desktop then sync Fix it and get 5              Almost there
The app itself is nice But syncing between my computer and devices just did not work           Disappointed
I really love this app I would recommend it to my friends                 Great App
This app would be helpful if it would sync properly with the desktop version As is it is a pretty big nuisance Writing stuff on paper and typing it into the desktop later would be more convenient     Wont sync
I had trouble with DropBox sync originally However the developer was quite helpful and I learned that the name to use for DropBox in the iOS app is the user name in Perfect Diet Tracker NOT DropBox Once that was corrected it worked perfectly Not as easy to add food items as the desktop app and Im not sure about groups that Ive created yet but it is certainly helpful for keeping track of things on the run              DropBox sync does work
Works great with Perfect Diet Tracker                 Great Companion App for Perfect Diet Tracker
The App store companion for this application is outstanding This app has some issues So in March 2012 I reviewed this app and the desktop I have not really used it because there was a long wish list I had I can say the majority of those have been met but STILL the major killer that is missing which all other apps have is a barcode scanner which access a database WHY should I input data when I can just scan it Guys you clearly are listening but for the life of me I dont know what your doing by leaving this most important feature out Ill put this app and mac app away and look again in about 6 months I so want it to be a total package Added one more star              Needs Work
Like it tracing carbs protein fat great Wish it had a way to keep frequently used items in a database without having to retype every time Its a good tool tho              tracker to go
Got this app So I could search for calorie content of foods I am eating Would be nice if the calorie counter would tell me the portion size and then let me tell it how many portions Ive had     B
This app is great if you only eat fresh foods ALL the time like 4oz of meat or 4 oz of rice for example but when you are out and you purchase a custom meal like a chicken wrap then you must create a custom food diary for it Unfortunately you can only add the amount of calories for custom foods You cant add the protein carbs and fats Pathetic 3 wasted Food is nothing without macronutrients and off course micro This is also a problem because the program does add up all the macronutrients except the custom food diariessince we cant add them as i previously mentioned which makes it so ironic and incomplete        Decent app but big problem
Love this app                 Awesome app
The record keeping has a good design but searching for the food items to log is practically nonfunctional Be prepared to have to use google search not the apps and then enter all the nutrition and calorie info manually which is too hard to do on a phone The search engine wont return results based on containing ALL the search words so if you enter Panera tomato soup it will return every item that icontains the word soup and every item that contains the word tomato and every item that contains the word Panera There is no ability to return items that contain all three words so the search results are useless and too long to find anything Also after 8 tries Ive concluded the Sync doesnt work        Useless search function and wont sync
I really like how it syncs with the desktop version I have used both Mac and Linux Ubuntu desktop versions and the iOS version syncs perfectly The only issue I have with the iOS version is that one can only whole values for weight while the desktop version lets I enter weight to tenths of pounds I would have given it 5 stars if I could enter weight to tenths The database is quite complete for the foods I eat It is also easy to add foods to the database Overall I like the app and feel it is well worth the price              Great crossplatform app
Would love to see a scanner in the next update Love this app tho                 Scanner
I like the app in principle and its ease of use However having worked with other more mature programs in Windows environment there is big improvement potential in terms of analysischarts and integration Polar Nike Garmin I hope the team has re plans           More features required
Really Its the same thing that is on all FREE diet trackers for the iphoneipad minus some funky extras The only reason why I bought it was because I thought I would be able to sync it up to the mac app they have called my perfect tracker and everything would be in sync I love their mac app and if it synced up with that so that i would not have to write down everything and then enter it into my computer when i got home this would be worth the price but by its self it is overpriced and useless I dont think i even used it more then 2 times after I found out it cant sync its a waste of time doing this twice        Honestly Im not impressed
Waste of money Will not sync with Dropbox to perfect diet tracker Pretty much renders it useless     Syncs Nope
I like the app and it is helping me control what I eat Happy to have it I have recommend it to my friends                 Good app
Great app but they could make it better The iPad version tracks percentage and actual grams do each macronutrient Easy to use and track your weight calories and diet They need a better way to input new foods rather than just calories without modifying the micronutrients iPhone version does not give you number of grams for macronutrients just a percentage which is poor Overall good app they need to be able to track more though eg cholesterol saturated fat sugar etc              Tracker2go
Easy to use It provides the settings for major exercise calorie tracking and weight loss plan Is not as interactive and comprehensive as the computer version It would be perfect if the calorie carb tracking and profile were provided in grams not percentage              Great
This app is the best out there It is really accurate Better than the ones u have o pay for                 Best out there
I rarely offer reviews but I just dropped 3 to purchase this app so that I could continue tracking my intake and exercise on the road but I cannot get the sync to complete the iOS app discovers my desktop app on my home network but it doesnt complete the connection Im greatly annoyed since I like the desktop app and wouldnt have bothered to purchase the iPhone app had I know the sync wouldnt function I would prefer a functional Dropbox sync for the program        Sync not functioning
This app is great because it has a desktop component But if it added the ability to scan barcodes to add to the database now that would be perfection For now Ill stick with Fooducate                 Ok app wish it had a scanner
Great app for tracking food intake Syncs easily with MAC and other IOS devices with no hassle                 Tracker to go
Good app But many choices for food reference You have to load a lot of stuff Time consuming           Low Food choices
Attempts to use the report a problem link returns this This domain is only used for internal use sorry Hello Apple wake up you arent doing your QA This app apparently needs updating It gets stuck in the initial sync or returns an obtuse error relative to then DropBox sync Not sure it is compatible with the Mac based app per the other commenter     Refused to work with Dropbox totally useless
I was looking for an app that would not send my personal fitness information to the web to be sold This seems to fit that bill but after downloading I cannot get past the setup screen the app freezes        Doesnt seem to work with IOS 8
When I used the desktop version I would always have to remember what I eat and what the length of time I exercised With tracker2go it is easy to enter data on the go Great app I am looking forward to future enhancements such as ability to enter tenths of a pound for you weight and the ability to use food groups that are established with the desktop version                 Tracker2go
Until a couple of days ago worked fine I can no longer sync with confidence Days drop out diary gets added to wrong date I am having to recreate what I ate 5 days Goargh Keep for health reasons and this is a huge problem Will have to drop app and use desktop version only Hope there is a fix soon     Sync out of sync
I hate to say this but you guys messed up again when you upgrade the Mac forgot about to update the perfect diet app on the computer I would appreciate if you could do something about this I fix the bugs on itplease dont take forever to fix it     Perfect Diet Tracker
Did not know the max weight when purchased I am bigger than the max so waisted 199     Did not tell max weight
This app used to be pretty good but there are better options Being able to scan codes is a great time saver available on other apps Sync with scales and exercise equipment would be nice The app is well made but is tired and needs improvement           Needs an update
I just downloaded both the Mac and iPad versions I made entries in the Mac version and had it sync easily with the iPad version Now all I have to test is if I can make entries in the iPad version and have it sync as easily the other way But when you add a food not in the database all you can add is the name and calories You cannot add carbs protein or fat For me sorry I bought it If I were rating it for the first time I would down grade it to only 2 stars              So far it syncs with desktop version
