Map is crystalclear easy to navigate app functions are well thoughtout If you can add timetable function with wifi connection based on Hyperdia or equivalent it would be incredible Please make one of these for the JR system It would be the perfect complement to this app                 great app

am in japan now and using this nonstophave even helped out others dont bother with any other tokyo metro app just need a rate calculator and id of the line ownership                 almost best app ever if youre going to japan

It does not have all the stations The Japanese writing in boxes do not show up on maps just blank boxes Save your money     Waste of money

Solid and very useful application Most of my travel is in central Tokyo so this is good for me Helpful to add more lines wider coverage I would have paid more for the app for such coverage              Very helpful

This app worked great during my last trip to Japan I wish they would add more cities like like Yokohama to make it more useful I think people who visit Tokyo may want to visit Yokohamas Chinatown or Kamakura Add this and Ill give it 5 stars                 Great for travel within Tokyo

Should be removed from the App Store It hasnt been updated since 2010 It doesnt have new lines and stations like the for the Tokyo Sky Tree area     OutDated

This app works great My only suggestion is that they should have Japanese station names above the English translations If you look at Beijing subway app they have both chinese characters and English translations              Best subway app for Tokyo

English station names only Color scheme and coding not consistent with Tokyo standards No surrounding station maps        Passable

Thank you for the immensely useful app I recently visited Tokyo for the first time to see a friend there and had to take the train solo while my friend worked With the combination of my friends guidance train station workers and this app i was able to limit greatly limit the times I got lost only once in 7 days is pretty good to me This app helped me count the stops track my route and bookmark my routes before taking them Even my Japanese friend said it looked like a useful app I am serious this app really saved me a lot of stress and worry during my stay The only con I have is the map is not extensive enough my friend lives off the Hatanodai station on the Ikegami line and that line is not on this app among many others Im sure This was not a huge hinderance since I just referenced everything from Gotanda but they do need to add all the main and small train lines Overall an excellent app thank you              Thank you

I absolutely love this app as it made my first trip around Tokyo so easy to figure out Being able to enter 2 station names and figure out what to do was so easy A few suggestions perhaps The ability to zoom out all the way Since the iPhone and iPod Touch 4 have the high res display seeing the whole map at once to compare to the maps in the station would be a boost Perhaps adding the cost of a trip would be cool too I dont know how often the prices change but it would be cool if its possible Also maybe adding some of the lines that run inout of Tokyo would help too I had to ask at the hotel how to get to Odaiba because those lines arent listed Last thing would be a way to tell apart which lines are with what company Would help ahead of time to know a new ticket would have to be purchased inbetween stations              Made first trip a snap

The navigation is a bit clunky but it does work Its also a bit difficult to see the whole subway system which is difficult if youre a firsttimer Still its worth 99 to have the subway route in your pocket     Not bad

This ap is useless if you are going to Noda The maps stop just outside Ueno It doesnt even have Kashiwa It is not for Bujinkan folks Spread the word     Not for Bujinkan

On a recent trip to Tokyo I used this app constantly It worked perfectly without any cellular or wifi connection The only slight problem was that it includes the Yamanote line but does not let you know thats not part of the Metro system Once you know that the app is invaluable                 Excellent

This is a great app and I used it extensively while visiting Tokyo However it needs the JR and other overground routes in addition to just the subway info Would also help if it showed cost info between the routes that you map This is availalble in other apps but only in Japanese The city map and link to google map is also very handy Final suggestion would be to include station exit information as the big stations can have over 2 dozen exits Eg Which exit from Shinjuku Station do I take to get to the Takashimaya Building Add these options and I would definitely be willing to pay more           Great app but only subway maps

Im from LA and used this app all the time in tokyo bc it doesnt require a Internet connection Great app                 Great travelers app

Very dissapointing app even at 099 Not well thought out Whoever developed thus didnt look at it from a user point of view The Settings option doest work either Youre better off scanning the official map and put it on your iPhone Refund please     Waste of money

Good app but they lack the Kanji for the stations Having the Kanji with the Romanji helps navigating Please add the Kanji           Need the Kangi

Map was slow when Zooming in and out Directions from station to station seem generally good           Not bad but a bit unresponsive

Nice appfor 99 cent100 yen you cant go wrong I highly recommend it for the cost and features Nice clear map scaleable and most underground route information Easy to use and VERY convenient to have in your pocket for quick access HOWEVERthe Namboku line ends at Akbane Iwabuchi It continues on to Urawa Misono as SAITAMA RAILWAY What happened there Also there are several JR lines beside the Yamanote that intersect and connect inside of central Tokyo Kehin Tohoku Saikyo SobuChuo line are the most needed If you could add a timetable list function in addition to cleaning up the missing lines mentioned it would be a perfect 5 But maybe you could make a companion app for JR EAST TokyoKanto and that would be AWESOME PLEASE make a JR East app              Helpful

You know theres more to Tokyo than the Yamanote line This app basically covers whats inside the Yamanote Loop but for the millions of people who live outside that area but still in Tokyo it is utterly worthless I wish someone would make a REAL route planner app in English for those of us living in anything other than CENTRAL Tokyo Basically JR Easts service area Now THAT would actually be worth 099 Heck more than that     Worthless

Ugly maps not scalable to a useful size WAY too many useless features that dont work Missing important lines Jorudan or Hyperdia are much more completeefficient The only thing it has over any other apps are the maps but developers dont put any effort to improve those        Maybe useful for someone compltely ignorant about Tokyo

This was very helpful for getting around the city and worth the buck It doesnt have jr stations though so we also kept a map with us for that              Very helpful for tourists

As a frequent visitor I found this app very helpful but has bugs and lacks a bit of detail Doesnt always pick the fastest route The map does give the station number only name        Not perfect but beats reading tourist maps

Because Tokyo subway system is so confusing for the first visitor I worried a lot before I arrived in Tokyo But fortunately it is easy to find how to go to the places with this app Tokyo Underground It is very clean and uses same colors of subway lines You dont have to stop to find out how to move in Subway Calcuating routes and times is also useful I highly recommend this app I love it But Yurikamoe line and Rinkai line from Obaiba are missed Obaiba is also famous place for a Tokyo traveller Please update these missed lines                 musthave app for Tokyo visitor

I travel regularly to Tokyo and this app is essential The augmented reality metro station finder will save you hours of pointless searching This is a must have                 Dont go to Tokyo without this App

I downloaded all the Tokyo subway apps Even the ones with bad reviews Just for the fun of it I have an iPod THIS ONE IS THE ONLY ONE YOU NEED It would be perfect if they could add a feature to the Lines screen to click on the line and list all of the stations in that line Other than that no need to carry a subway map              Look no more

I find this app to be absolutely indispensable for navigating the Tokyo subway system As an occasional visitor to Tokyo the largest city in the world I find that I cant get around without this app The only small issue that you should be aware of is that the time estimates for travel between stations seem to be way too high I find that I arrive at my destination in about half the time that is reported by the app              A solid and indispensable app for Tokyo visitors

There is only English available I bought it because I thought I can have it in Japanese as well Somewhat dissapointed     Not satisfied

First time to Tokyo and I used this app A LOT Definitely worth it if youre sightseeing in Tokyo              Very useful app

This is the best app to use to get around Tokyo It can help you find your way around anywhere in Tokyo The route feature is fantastic                 Buy it

Where is the JR line There is no slidebar in station list only search           Could be better

Its missing the Denentoshi line I hope youre not going to Sangenjaya or beyond        Good but missing Denentoshi Line

The route function is great it may not always provide the best routes but it gives you a good idea and a jumping point to start your own planning rather than having to randomly search the map Wish it wad possible to zoom in and out of the map when in route mode though Also dont bother paying for the POI addons Theyre basically useless              Extremely helpful

I have an iPod Touch and I love the interface of choosing stations and that you can get the route information without being connected There is a lot to love in this app However as an app for transportation you have to get the actual transportation info right The app is missing stations on lines it includes for instance Chuo line does not include Koenji Station It should also include all lines not just MetroJR Another station I looked up was Shimokita which is served by two different rail systems but it was not included either presumably because Odakyu and the other rail arent included Lastly including lines that serve the airports even though technically outside of Tokyo would help lots of people who are getting this app because they are traveling to Tokyo As it is this app looks and works great However there is so much missing information I cant rely on it           I want to love it but

Great app I wish they had other Japanese cities like Osaka Best one out there in my opinion                 Outstanding

Great app Its very easy to use It has many useful features My favorite is that it gives you your current location and you can see where you are in realation to whatever station you are looking for with google maps One suggestion though I really wish the makers of this app made a map for all the trains in the greater Tokyo area inclduding JR Tokyo Metro and privately owned lines If there was a map that included every station and line theres no doubt in my mind that it would be the best app available for navigating through the Tokyo Yokohama and its suburbs                 Get it

This is a good app for travel within the Tokyo subway network It would be better if it included fare info Station maps would also help Anyway this app is totally worthless for any travel outside the Tokyo subway network and Yamanote line It wont even help you get to Narita An alternative is Jorudan a free Internet service which works for trains all over Japan        Useless outside of central Tokyo
