I love the interface and soothing sound choices that Tin Pan Rhythm offers As a music teacher I d prefer if there was more information about the different choices as in style timbre because there are so many choices the numbers assigned to each don t mean much This app will allow my special need students to participate in harmony composition and then improve along to it I hope the company adds on to this framework                 Great Start tweeish

The recent addition of the save feature makes this an indispensable tool for developing simple chord progressions It s limited to 8 bars and 10 chords related to selected key so you won t be writing an entire song in one phrase but you can easily sketch out ideas                     Great composition tool GWRiker

For those of us who never learned to play an instrument as a child it is really hard to ever get music theory I have tried reading about it but it doesn t click without something hands on This app quickly gives you a sense of some basics like what a chord progression is and how different ones sound Maybe more importantly it is fun to play with so you keep trying new things and learning more about how basic songs work Love it                     Awesome for non musicians Pseudonaut

This app is one of the more unique music apps out there that I ve tried Building a chord progression and getting something going that sounds good is incredibly quick and easy to customize I m finding it s great for rapidly testing out different potential directions for a song Additionally it works REALLY well as a tool for quickly putting together a backing track to jam along to on my guitar piano Very fun Apps like this make the iPad worth having                     Like jamming without the hassle Christopherpppp

This is a really cool song prototyping tool or a generator to create a backing band to practice or jam against Drag a sequence of chords in to a 4 or 8 bar sequence and it creates a piano guitar bass drums and percussion bed The feel is acoustic pop rock folk but it definitely sounds like a creditable ensemble Good sounds and lots of variations possible really fun too Whoever wrote the 1 star review didn t finish the tutorial which walks you through the app after the first launch Sounds like they stopped during the demo                 I love this app Yale University DMCA

This release while not complete is a great start Within 30 seconds you can setup a chord progression and then literally spend an hour or more playing around with different instrumental mixes Definitely needs the ability to Save but until then you can take a screen cap of your setup and since the app is visual you can recreate it if needed The sounds are very pleasing the mellow acoustic sounds are what I like most about it Sounds different than any other app I use and will find a place in my digital toolbox I look forward to what the Developers come up with in the future Would love some additional instrument packs as IAPs and the ability to string together multiple saved progressions                     Different Sounding Than Others Easy To Use Base128

I found this to be a nice intuitive music creation app The tutorial was helpful in showing what I could do while staying out of my way and Tin Pan Rhythm as a whole was a lot deeper experience than I was expecting Personally I also enjoy that it s geared more toward acoustic and jazz instruments compared to other music apps                     Fun and easy to get into and different from other music apps Cupogoodness
