TimeLock - Time Limit for Parents

This is the worst app I ever downloaded cant believe I paid money The app doesnt do anything other can have notification running constantly even during the night when it is not used How do I get my back     Worthless Wastes battery life

This app has done nothing to actually lock the device from my kids using it after the set amount time It just gives you a 1000 annoying messages that the device has been disabled but my kids can still use any app they want They just put it on mute so the cant hear the messages every second Then when I go in to the app to turn the app off it continues to display the same messages I basically have to reset the timer and then hide it from my kids until the next day Im very sorry that I paid for this app     1000 Annoying messages without really locking the device

One day and we are fed up with the popups Waste of 1     Too many popups

Dont waste you 99 Its basically a timer that once its done just has a popup that constantly goes Doesnt lock the iPad or nothing Its a dollar timer Wish App Store let you try before you buy installed this and 5 minutes later it was in the trash     Lame

Aside from the fact that it doesnt work the last update was made in 2011 for ios5 and the support screens dont even look like the actual screen This is a scam to take your money I will be reporting to apple and requesting a refund I dont even want to give it 1 star Thats too many     Apple Should remove this from store

Bad ap all it does is quietly beep when it runs out of time I also had to re write this 3x to get a unique nickname     Disappointed

First their web site has not been updated since 2011 Second the newest fix is for iOS 5 Third all it does is tell me over and over and over that the device is locked Fourth it has not yet locked my childs device This app is non functional     Does not work

This app effectively renders your device completely useless It sent push notifications every 2 seconds so even unlocked my child couldnt use her device at all The help button just locked the device offered no assistance of any kind I bought it 30 min ago have already deleted it Waste of money     Worst App EVER

Id advise you to avoid this app The deactivation is a little bell that wont deter any child from doing anything on their iPad The 99 you waste on this app could have been spent on a bottle of water     Terrible app

Unless Im doing something wrong It does NOT work     Weste of money

followed the instructions for the update flaw and it still wont lock the screen whether timer is on or not have contacted the developers and am waiting to hear back     same issue as others

My 7 years old kid figured out in less Than a minute that if he click the home button he can play without the app deducting the time If the app is close or in the background the app is useless This is not to prevent the kids to use their devises is just for adults to try to reduce the time or keep track of their usage     Garbage Want my money back

As far as I can tell the only thing this does is put an annoying notification dropdown on 10 of th display It doesnt actually lock anything I doubt Im missing anything there is no control panel and no more options to chose from Its pretty much useless for trying to lock out an iPod after a set amount of time     ummm am I doing this wrong

This is a great app For those of you that gave it a poor review go back and read the instructions because you did not configure it properly 1It has a timer that resets every day 2you child starts and stops it when they want 3 It has a pin code restriction 4 It just works Ty                 Great app read the instructions

Horrible app This is simply a timer that can only be set and reset with a passcode It does not disable your device Save your money and use your microwave timer     Horrible App

It runs out my power and I really hate that If youre ok with it running out your power every once and a while go ahead and get it I dont like it that much        Its ok

Read the reviews This app DOES NOT disable the iPad when time is up It simply pops up annoying notifications Also you have to manually restart the timer each day Apple needs to revoke this companys privileges due to their false claims     Useless

All a child has to do is start the timer and turn off notifications for this app Once that is done the app is disabled     Easy to break into

My husband has the password I have a daily allotment of time each day The app is aggravating with the pop ups but thats the point Its a deterrent I use it for the same purpose that I use pc internet time blockers like stayfocused and leechblock Keeps me from wasting too much time on phone I can still access my today screen minus the popups with the app up to access calendars tasks weather and a few other things I have set up there Only thing is I wish there was the option to set a recurring reminder when the timer is running because I will sometimes forget to turn it off when I use it on and off throughout the day Then there is the temptation to just turn of notifications Set up your notifications correctly by the way or youll be thinking it doesnt work like some of the reviews              Use for my own time management

WHY APPLE DIDNT REMOVE THIS APP YET IT DOSENT WORK PLEASE DONt MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME     I WANT MY MONEY BACK

This app is pointless Whilst the notifications do pop up redundantly and annoyingly upon expiration of the timer it provides no real deterrent or discontinuance of using the device My expectation would be that all functionality would be rendered useless or the screen would lock requiring a passcode but this is not the case Im unsure as to why there are such positive reviews of this app It does nothingmy four year old just ignores the constant pop ups and continues on watching his YouTube videos I used this for a 12 Fruitless     Doesnt work

I really should have listened to the reviews But I figured that for 99 it was worth the try Thats exactly what this company is banking on The app simply does not work They claim that if you follow the instructions it will work WRONG The only thing this app does is steal your money     RIPOFF WARE

I rate no stars because when you pause the game and out of the app it sends so much annoying messages and when the time is up when I turn it off and it turns on and I cant hear all of my massages so I turn on the mute so I cant hear all of the beepes and dont waste your on this app please if this happens to you agree with this review and it will never stop sending massages and now how do I get my back now     Dont waste your money on this app

Very confused by this app I got it to run and locked my iPad but found that I could override the parental controls simply by double clicking on the app and tapping on the stop timer button It did not even ask me for my parental code Plus no instructions on how to use it in the app I had to go to the Website     Confused

This is the most anoing app of all time I just hate this it doesnt even let me delet it     I hate this app

App wont turn off when I as the parent need to work on the iPad after kids time is up     Wont disable

You can still access all your phones functions after time runs out Whats the point of this app if not to force a lock on the phone after the time is up     Phone still accessible after time

I wanted to like this appI know Apple makes it hard but until I saw Looking for a girlfriend pop up on my sons iPad it didnt occur to me what I was using to lock down the screen time We followed the install directions and it never worked well on the iTouch You could still continue to play through the AngryBirds ads as long as you werent looking for a girlfriend     uses Ads to deter

When the timer was done I thought the app would shut down my device Shouldnt TimeLock mean when times up your device is locked All it does is remind you every 5 seconds that the timer is done It is super annoying The app is useless and a total waste of money unless you are 100 sure your child is completely obedient to you No offense but I doubt it So please dont buy this app I hope this helps P S I had to rate to review but I would honestly give 0 stars     Waste of money

This App is useless All you have to do is close TimeLock and it is disabled The timer is voluntary     TimeLock

Device is most certainly not rendered inactive after time limit all you get are dings and banner messages I can use the built in timer for that grrrrrr     Ackkkkkkk

This app was on my phone for less than 2 minutes before it continuously chimed in with worthless messages Poor configuration options Bad design And now its deleted     Suckered me for 099

This time lock keeps giving notifications and my son keeps playing where is the lock I guess its a fraud     Not a lock just a notification

Good for kids who will respect it as a timer However the timer does not pause and save time for later if the child puts the iPad to sleep before their time has run out Also Once the timer runs out there are a never ending series of disabled notifications that drain the battery     Useless battery drain

The way this app is locking the kids activity is totally inconvenient it just pushes millions of notifications without actual iPad lock And it is completely misdesigned on iOS 8     Weird app

Maybe Im missing something but this app is absurd I can still use the device without the timer running I just pause it exit the app and keep on surfing Id have to rely on my kids being honest and actually turning the timer on which I hope theyd do but it would be easy to forget to turn it on     Flawed
