I just got this app and while it is easy to make a timeline and can generate a PDF the actual timeline entries are blurry on the final PDF document That is not good That s the whole point of getting this app to be able to create nice looking timelines for my litigation work         Good program but the resulting pdf is blurry on the timeline Al124358

I tried this app last spring and loved it This year I had all of my history students buy it to use in class Now that they have we re continually running into problems with the app crashing for some kids when they try to open it for others when they try to add an event and others can t export the timeline once they ve created it A outa third to a fifth of all my students can use the app effectively for an assignment PLEASE UPDATE THE APP     Poor Investment PresWiz

The app looks great but is missing a few key features 1 Needs an undo button It s pretty easy to move an event and the I have to reset the dates 2 Typing in dates The slider selector is nice but typing the dates in just makes more sense Maybe include both 3 Copying duplicating timeline projects Add these and the app is easily worth more than 2 It s got great visual design             Nice but feels unfinished meathpj

This app does exactly what it says and it does so well While it has earned five stars for its intuitive interface and usefulness to be a truly great app I think it needs these features among others 1 The Ability to delete copy entire timelines 2 The ability to delete multiple events quickly 3 The ability to import from iCal 4 iPhone support 5 It would be cool if one could in the Notes section of the app allow multimedia i e images or videos or links that are actually hyperlinked to a website 6 Finally a way to present the timeline For example it would be nice if there was a presentation mode that would zoom in on the first event until an arrow was pressed then the app would zoom in on the second event and so on Overall I LOVE this app It has solved most of my problems with creating a timeline and it has proved versatile Worth the 1 99 I paid for it                     Pretty Good Starting Point has a lot of potential Arod PonyBoy

I like this timeline for the simplicity and ease of use and it is proving to be very useful for my kids since they use this timeline app to enter dates and notes from their history reading which in turn helps them to understand and process the information not just absorb it The different colors being able to enter date ranges and the ability to have notes attached to a timeline entry but not show up on timeline which would be too cluttered are all great If there could just be a febut thanks for the appw updates it would be a five star app and one that I would happily spread the word about with my fellow homeschoolers and teachers 1 The suggestions by musicteacherguy are all great especially the date entry 2 When I mail the timeline to myself all it get is a PDF of the actual timeline useful too but what I would love is a listing of all the notes my kids have entered since this is where they explain the event and add detail Now I have to do it note by note which is quite tedious Thanks for the app                     A lot of potential for homeschoolers John bb

This app is a very good tool for building a timeline It gives you the ability to choose your own dates and does not limit the number of entries I like that you can choose from many different colors for each entry and that you can change the colors independently However it took me a while to figure out how to make things work properly so I will share what I found First set up your timeline to be a bit larger 1 2 years than you think you will need The date interface would be better here if you could just type in the year Putting in 780 BC took a lot of scrolling When you put in your first entry it is automatically positioned in the middle of your time line It will jump to the proper position once you enter the date but by default it remains centered vertically If a second entry covers up part of the first entry you will want to move some of your entries manually This is where I got a bit frustrated When moving an entry that you just put in the dates adjust along with the horizontal position This is useful if you want to quickly change dates but not if you just manually entered the date and now want to adjust the vertical position To keep from messing up the date you need to touch a different entry first and then go back to one you want to move I hope this helps and saves somebody a bit of frustration This is a good app that could be great Here is what I believe this app needs A versatile date interface The scrolling dates are OK but it would be nice to be able to type the year A Lock Date check box that would allow you to independently lock the date of each entry This would keep someone from accidentally changing dates while adjusting the vertical placement of the entry An option to keep the timeline simple by only entering the year rather than the exact date A more proportionate visual representation when using end dates Right now a 100 year event and a 10 year event look exactly the same on the timeline This might be tricky to work with the zoom feature that you have currently Keep up the good work                 A fantastic app with plenty of room for improvement musicteacherbanddirectorguy

Finally a timeline app that works for writers You can actually create your OWN timeline starting with any date year you choose As far as I know this is the only app that allows you to do this Totally rate a 5 star just for that alone                     A great timeline app for writers SoCal Lady
