Time Timer

This is the best app of its kind made by the company that pioneered this kind of graphic representation of time Im giving the app 4 stars and not 5 because for its premium price it needs to do everything optimallyyet it has two shortcomings 1 The splash logo screen on startup is unnecessary and annoying to users I use this app because I want to make the best possible use of my time Yet every time I open it I have to wait about 5 seconds for the splash screen to go away 2 To set the timer one can only do so with the spin wheels that are accessed on another screen For the main timer style the classic red disappearing minutes I would love to be able to set the timer by touchmoving the red with my finger in the way that one sets a physical Time Timer See the competing app Visual Timer which does this very well As it stands its a great app But if the above two items can be addressed in an upgrade particularly 1 I will be delighted              Excellent app with two minor shortcomings

This is a wonderful app Simple to use The ability to see multiple timers at once can be very useful My wish list for this app is to have the timers rotate in landscape mode and a timer to begin after another has stopped In other words an option for timers to run in series instead of parallel Thanks for a great app                 Great

the new time timer is more robust I love it Because it is more robust you need to invest a bit of time to get to know it but once you do it is awesome                 Time timer Love it

Ive been using TT for years now on my iPhone Its superb Combine this app with an easeltype case like the ZeroChroma model and you always have a bestinclass timer at hand Honestly its a musthave app for almost anyone And the simultaneous display of multiple timers with different colors The UIs so good you could use it on a nuclear power plants control panel OK that may be a bit of a stretchbut try it out and youll see what I mean                 Followup review

I rarely spend money on apps but did on this one because I thought it would be good for my students I liked it at first but now it doesnt even work Every time I open the app it immediately closes I agree that the real one is better        Not working at all

This product lacks flexibility has a confusing user interface to set timers and costs quite a bit of money for so little If you need a product that shows a countdown of time in a highly visualized fashion that provides marginal value over the builtin timer this is your product     Disappointing

The new app makes it easier then ever to use As a facilitator I use it all the t one with groups in staff meetings and even for helping manage my personal work time Im constantly finding new uses Even my husband is starting to discover how useful TT is                 Endless applications

A teacher recommended Time Timer to us We use it at home for our daughters morning and bedtime routines We love it because she is able to see time elapse and therefore manage her time better Im impressed with how these guys have managed to take something as abstract as time and make it concrete so that a child can follow Nice job                 Great for kids

I agree with others This is exactly what Time Timer does so wellbut given the touch screen interface we should be able to set the timer by dragging our finger across the clock face And the app was really expensive but so are Time Timers           Good but

I use this timer at work to keep track of my sessions It helps as a visual cue and a reminder to begin or end a task At home I like to use it for fair time outs with my 5 year old he can actually set it himself                 Great for work and home

Ive used the Time Timer on the iMac in my classroom while working with students and loved it I was excited to purchase this to use one on one with a student I tutor privately The functionality and options are so limited in this app that I am disappointed It still gives the visual cues that my student needs but I feel Ive wasted money           Slightly disappointed

I almost didnt buy this app after reading previous version reviews but Im sure glad I did It starts right up and sets by finger tough and runs in the background all contrary to previous version reviews I like the app even better than the real Time Timer because it can be customized to different lengths of time different colors though honestly I did not see how to follow the directions on the TT website but I made my custom timer blue by turning on and off the clock feature The app also allows more than one timer to run at a time which was not a feature I was looking for but can certainly use a zillion ways now that I know about it                 Problems from previous versions fixed

Version 20 makes functions being more complicated but less useful Please restore the previous landscape view back That view mode is more visualised and intuitive for most users Version 20 is far away from an improved design Not recommend existing users to upgrade from 1x version     Give me the simplified version back

This app is great for teachers I met the inventor of TimeTimer at a conference and she helped me in getting a TimeTimer since I am a first year teacher This is truly a great company I recommend for any teacher or parent                 Great app

I needed a simple ui my toddler can read for various parenting purposes This one is one of the closest out there But seriously 5 clicks just to start it Thats nuts That does not make my life less complicated let me start up an existing timer in 2 taps 1 to open the app the other to hit play on my timer in the main list give me the option of seconds        5 clicks to start a preconfigured timer

Ive loved the physical Time Timers for years and this app update is a big improvement Looks great                 Dont run your house without one

When preparing dinner I have so many things happening at once it is great to be able to set and see multiple timers running at the same time I love the list view update                 great for cooking

I live Time Timer I have an 8 and 3 in my office The new update lets you quickly adjust the timer just like the real thing This makes it super easy to use on the fly Excellent translation from the physical model to the App                 Just like the real timers

The concept is awesome We use the real life time timer all the time and its great However with this app if you turn off the display or use another app you lose your count down So its pretty much useless I wish I checked out the other timer apps before I purchased this one     Kind of useless

It does the basic functions But we are now bombarded with fabulous apps that are completely free So to pay for this clunky app seemed too much           Clunky app

I would love the ability to design and savestore a multistep timer It could offer the option of color coded intervals or it could just have marked the intervals marked This would be ideal for multiplestep events that take place daily I would also then love for the ability to add pictures to the multistep events              Would love to see more

Loaded this app for 300 and it doesnt work at all Cannot get it to do anything would not buy     Does not work

I have a three kitchen timers and I have tended to lose them or misplace them All of them have dull gray LCDs and none of them gives the bright bold visual cues that TimeTimer App does on my first gen iPhone Seeing the time change in a visually quantified way is a different thing altogether than looking at numbers for me As a person with ADHD keeping myself on time and keeping track of the passing of time is a critical issue Given that the software version is 25 and the clock and watch versions are 30 and up this 499 app is the least expensive way to get this very very smart and helpful little timer It doesnt do any fancy tricks and people have gotten used to apps costing nothing or 099 But the least expensive of my kitchen timers was 15 and I WAY prefer TimeTimer I think its terrific If I could change it Id use the touch screen to scrollin the time amount rather than the somewhat cumbersome SET screen But that is trivial compared to the functionality                 Wonderfully Effective

I absolutely love my Time Timer app Its the most useful tool I have to keep my family on time and accomplishing tasks that are challenging I use it for everything from watering the garden limiting iPad time to giving a reading time visual to the kids each night I love having the ability to name save and colorcode my timers Thank you Time Timer for such a great tool                 Running on time

I use the Time Timer with my disorganized clients They struggle with time spending too much on creative and fun but not on required tasks This app as well as table top version and computer version helps them to accomplish small but important tasks I love this app                 Certified Professional Organizer

For such an expensive and simple app it doesnt even work correctly when viewed in landscape mode It zooms in so half the countdown clock is missing on the iPad And this thing should be a universal app instead they try to soak you for another 699 for the iPad version Give me a break     Doesnt scale correctly when flipped

This app was recommended by my sons behavioral therapist and it has been wonderful Simple and fast when you need it                 great for my 3 year old with Autism

Time Timer is a GREAT app for all SPED teachers out there I use it with my preschool special education class and transitions are a breeze now My kids ask for the timer so they can see how much time is left at activities and they love it                 Great App for SPED Teachers

I loved this app because it was so easy to use I need something visual Now with the update I have to mess around with it too much to reset the time I now hate it and have to find something else that works the way this one used to work I work on very tight timing I just need to touch the clock for the time I want Now I have to pick the phone up delete the timer and set a new timer Too much time spent resetting     You ruined this app

What happened to the simple timer Please have two versions I use this all the time and now it is so complicated I wont use it with students Guess we have to go back to physical timers     Update stinks

I like the way the screens look and the program operates However the end of timer alarm does not work using the internal speaker on my ipod touch The is no link or way to ask questions or address issues with the program on the Time Timer web site It only lists their other products with dedicated pages but no mention of the ipod application When I called their support line I got a sales person for their standalone timers who didnt even know the ipod version exists Twelve hours later I still have not received a call back from anyone        Alarm and Support Concerns

I am disappointed to learn after I bought it that this timers alarm doesnt sound outside the application Hopefully an update will come out soon and rectify this problem     Alarm doesnt sound outside application
