Thomson Reuters Clinical Xpert

Helpapp no longer works with iOS 7 update I use this app daily to check hospital patientsPLEASE fix quickly     Crashed

Clinical Xpert is the best app I have Patient info labs medicationsits got everything I use this app all day every day I can sort patients in more ways on my iPhone than I can on a PC No one will ever take this lifesaver from me                 5star app

Seems to be a problem transitioning between wifi and cellular connections which leads to failed synchs Used to be that going thru okdonedone cycle and resynchg would clear but now it takes 23 tries and this am even that dont work Back to terminals being easier        Constant synch failures

This app is incredible The only criticism is that it crashes at least once or twice daily requiring me to turn my phone off and on the only fix              MD

Very helpful app Patients on the tenth floor are shown under the second floor rather than above the ninth floor Apparently the 10 in the room number is recognized as a 1 Also the developers are routinely late in regard to major iOS updates           Physician user

Please fix quickly     Wont work with iOS 7

Crashes immediately upon opening in iOS7 Please fix Pretty functional app otherwise           Good app apparently not ready for iOS7

Many thanks to Thomson Reuters for getting this app out The physicians and residents have been looking forward to this for sometime Many users have already made the move to change from laptop or fixed device rounding to the handheld platform and provided very positive feedback              Rounding made easy

The App works well but each update requires you to put the site information and user information back in again This is a terrible way to update the app Please quit doing this My hospital IT department gets flooded with calls each time you update the app        Terrible updates

I use this app daily as a Hospitalist and love it However it has failed to work with the iOS 7 update They must have known this was going to happen For patient care sake please fix ASAP     NOT compatible with iOS 7

Excellent organizer and time saver I can get the information I need about my patients anytime I need it at their bedside in my office or in a restaurant If I order lab work on the weekend I can get the results when Im out with my family at the park Would be hard to give this app up                 MD

Clinical Xpert links to my hospitals information system for easy access to patient census and clinical information I review labs consultation reports active medications and more Its great to have this information in my pocket instead of having to use a computer at a nursing station If it had the features of the webbased software or were as easy to navigate I would give Clinical Xpert 5 stars Unfortunately it seems to be a work in progress with missing features and clunky navigation The software does not duplicate the features of the webbased PC software or even the old PalmOS version One glaring difference is that Clinical Xpert does not support Handoff My group use this to manage To Do items for signout and to manage a consultation service The PCweb software lets us create a To Do item for a patient which gets flagged until one of us checks it off as done super useful We can type brief notes for our own communication Thomson Reuters did not include this in Clinical Xpert at all Navigating around Clinical Xpert information is hierarchical which slows me down You navigate down from a census to a patient name to a type of information lytes vitals rads etc The bottom of the screen has Patient Info Meds and Results buttons when you select a patient I find that the downwardupward navigation is slow For text data like radiology and consultation reports I often need to read consecutive results I expect to be able to swipe my finger across the screen to move to the next report That doesnt work I have tap the list button to move up in the hierarchy remember which report is next then tap that one to view it Clinical Xpert does not take advantage of some common features of iPhone apps In summary having iPhoneiPod Touch access to clinical information is great Clinical Xpert is missing some important features from the webPC version that limit its usefulness It does not take advantage of iOS basic navigation features Lets hope Thomson Reuters can improve Clinical Xpert in its next version to merit another star           A mixed bag mostly good
