I paid for a subscription on line but the app is too annoying to use and the other app doesn t work at all Every article is covered by an ad They go away after a bit but this is really too frustrating to use especially for a paper with so little actual news in it     Annoying earlymusicfan
Boring     Waste of time Pulitzer Judge
This app no longer loads on my iPad Please fix it or I want my money back     App won t load Game Mage 7

Please tell me this app is broken This isn t the way it s supposed to work right     Hopefully this is a bug Dnordee
The latest update ruined the app It just takes you to the web site and you have to look for the article you wanted to read Terrible     I want my money back Madpluck
Great crossover from Internet and print publications Easily navigated and I can typically scrounge a few dollars for subscriptions                     Recognized content Widjawho
It is impossible to share using FB or Twiter     Nice graphics can t share Storyhillbrewer
There s nothing free here but the headlines iPhone app is free and you can access the articles for no charge Don t get it I m a print subscriber and can t get access Am not going to pay another 40 just to view online content     Not Free Packerharry
Nice to push the app as free and the minute you want to view an article they want a subscription fee Forget it I will get my news elsewhere     Free Not Anthony Hermann
All of a sudden after a year this app does not work What happened I am paying for a service that can t open Not fun     What happened Min Pt Lady
This is not the paper but it is a nice supplement to it The price is right compared to the actual paper and for the most part covers what I need anyways                 I like it rbwilso1
The app no longer works as of Sept 17 Doesn t open     Wisc State Journal Bourbonwine
NIce layout and nice to have electronic access when print version is either soaking wet at the end of the driveway or missing Would like to see ability for print subscribers to receive free or discounted like most of the magazines I subscribe to do Can understand that newspapers need to stay in business and cannot offer this content for free to everyone but give us folks who already pay for the print version incentive to keep paying what we do when much of the content is available for free from other local sources             Good app but need to offer free or discounted to print subscribers Swizz1971
Lame Requires paid subscription Cap Times is free for now     Lame Boo_Doc
To see how to truly adopt iPad functionality take a look at The Daily Also please integrate with IOS 5 Newsstand application             Apple IOS 5 Newsstand Integration Giblipod
I wish it was more like a newspaper vs a rip off of The Huffington Post app Also you can see the same info on the website for free     I want to like it Nathan Roth
Really nice layout and haven t run into any big fat ads yet Way better than the website I wouldn t say it really recreates the print experience Not that it has to but I feel like I end up reading some things in print that I would miss on this                     Pretty dang good Coblyjudge
I like the design and layout of the news presentation of this app a lot My only concern at this time is I m not sure the news I get early in the morning is the same as what I get in print If I can avoid going out to get the paper from the end of the driveway on cold and rainy mornings it will be worth the subscription price At this point I m still getting a physical newspaper but hope reduce my paper consumption soon It seems aparent to me that the news industry needs to be supported either by advertisements by subscriptions or by a combination of both I appreciate the opportunity to choose a cleaner delivery model at a modest price I suppose I am a product of reading a print edition of the WI State Journal for 40 years but I d like to have access to a previous day s news without considering the news a continuous stream It s possible I m somewhat of a fuddy duddy or not following the format quite right yet though                 WI State Journal SueBlue1978
As a subscriber to daily delivery primarily to support our local paper I expect that subscription to provide access to the attractive iPad version But one is quickly disappointed when this free app tries to hit you up for a second subscription fee to read the very first article Forget about it the Milwaukee paper has better coverage of Madison and has a better online version too Aside from great sports reporters in Baggot Oates the only attraction to opening up the paper each morning was to count the steady string of editorials railing against the governor they endorsed     Only Newspaper to Double bill Not a Chump
I live in rural Dane County and suffered from HORRIBLE paper delivery service for years On days that the Wisconsin State Journal wasn t late it wasn t delivered at all Now that the WSJ iPad app is finally here I am a subscriber once again Good riddance you good for nothing paperboy                     Hey paperboy You re Fired I hate paperboys
As the developer of this app I understand how paying a subscription may seem impractical especially for print subscribers and customers who frequent our website However it s generally known that the news industry has been careless about giving away content and those of us who still work in news are all hoping the tablet paradigm will help to reduce our dependency on revenue from classifieds and ads A product with fewer ads and more news is something that I think would benefit producers AND consumers With that said it stands to reason we can t just give this product away In time we may be able to offer free access to print subscribers but our infrastructure isn t there yet In the meantime if you want to pay 1 week to enjoy an elegant reading experience on a cutting edge device with timely updates the likes of which you ll never see in print this iPad app is for you                 What s going on in our heads avium
Downloaded the app opened it clicked to read a story and was told I needed to subscribe to read the story I already pay to get the print version of what is rapidly turning into an irrelevant news source you want me to pay again to read it on my iPad too No thanks Now deleted     Surprise You need to pay by the month TravellerGod
