Lots of basics missing to make this a fully functional update app        Review

I have finally given up and cancelled my subscriptions for the second time I am not sure what the so called fixes were but they make no difference whatsoever I am appalled that such a trustworthy news source can be so inept when it comes to publishing a paid for subscription app This App is utterly dreadful Save your money and just use the website really this App makes no sense at all     Telegraph Review

Network issues continue to hobble the App detracting from the content ease of use        Not Ready For Primetime

I keep reloading this app inspite of its continued technical flaws and more for the excellent journalism and pictures which are worth putting up with the sub standard IT which this app is based on surely there must be a way of upgrading the app so it works     Please fix it

You want me to pay 2 bucks a day for an eversion for which you have zero printing and distribution costs Get serious or get lost Truly truly pathetic Even this link for providing a review which YOU extended to ME doesnt work properly It always takes numerous attempts 812 to open the app and it crashes frequently Its not possible to forward or save articles unlike real newspapers like the NYT WSJ Washington Post FT NY Post Hungry Horse News all of which I subscribe to I was a loyal and avid subscriber to the Telegraph for 5 years when I lived in London and now that I am back in NY I put up with your horrendous app only because I am so desperate for UK news I have complained and offered suggestions numerous times in the past year and it never improves Given any decent alternative I will drop you like a rock                 Price gouging

Good articles are the reason I subscribe But skit loads slowly if at all some days Definitely need to improve how site works           RAH

Paying for my subscription through ITunes But the Telegraph demands to know my digital Telegraph password and username Since I registered via ITunes and not through The Telegraph I am paying for a product I cant access Emails to their customer service yield no response     Disgruntled

This is one app that is just not there yet Crashes much too often Always requires an Internet connection such that downloaded articles cant be read offline This in spite of a good design and nice touches that cant be found in other e magazines such as nighttime reading white text on black background        Good design but still unstable and impractical

I downloaded this yesterday and got a thankfully free onemonth subscription Thus far I have not been able to view any content Every other app and website works fine on my iPad This is the only app that doesnt work even after restarting my iPad and reinstalling the app I get nothing but a black screen with three icons on the upper right Nothing else loads This is garbage or rubbish or whatever the British word for that is     Doesnt function

This is a good app and links together well with the newsstand I did have trouble starting the subscription I had to go online to the telegraph website to activate the account as I could to activate the account from the app Once that was done the app is great Thank you              Telegraph app

I enjoy being able to read the Telegraph on my iPad but wish it looked more like the paper Other magazine apps are like reading the magazine This newspaper app is not quite there Having said that it is still worth it as it reads well and is fairly easy to navigate           Good Read

Only just loaded the App having reached my monthly free limit of 20 articles Am hoping other reviews of the App prove incorrect Still prefer accessing stories from main Internet access as I like more headlines view and dip into variety of articles from that page Often means having to sign in again Have had several dropoffs in just 24 hrs since installing so am hoping The Telegraph will fix it Still love the newspaper fair honest great reporting on all topics Especially on World news Nothing else Ive read comes close              Telegraph App Review

The product if it can be accessed it wonderful The inability to get the app to open is not My feeling about my 1300 investment in this app is awaiting resolution of this MAJOR bug     Too frustrating

I like the Telegraphs content but this app is appalling It almost never loads still repeatedly asks for valid subscription information when it does load and is then less easy to browse than other newspaper apps because of the lack of top down thumbnails of the key stories by section Since so many other papers are able to get this right there seems no reason why the Telegraphs app should be so bad Charging money for this is disgraceful     The app is appalling

The app is practical I can not subscribe to the Telegraph due to banking sanctions on Iran              The Telegraph

Quite simply the best newspaper print or online Has real news depth and excellent writing                 The Best

A bit surprised at some of the other reviews Its not lightening fast to load but if I measured it compared with a walk to the mail box its ok Im not sure were getting the full newspaper which given the price at 150 year seems a bit off Good material Telegraph standard of journalism to the fore Suggestions The Sunday content seems very thin My recollection of the print editions in the UK was a much thicker Sunday edition Why cant we write a letter to the paper Would seem to be an easy feature to program and would enable expats to contribute In summary a decent app but dont be short changing the subscriber on content If you asked the question are we getting as much as we can or as little as the Telegraph can get away with were too close to the latter              Good with flaws

Once again after an update you break the app so that it crashes immediately on opening Only this time when I delete the app and reinstall it still doesnt work When are you going to learn to do thorough testing on an update before you release it     Broken

The Daily Telegraph is a great paper Good coverage of UK and world events I read it from the States That said the app cuts out a fair amount That is annoying But it gives you a challenge while reading              Great Newspaper

Continuously crashes and sometimes takes 6 or more attempts to open on iPad 1 The only reason I keep it is for the quality of the articles I can understand a few bugs here and there but at least get it to load up Telegraph please sort out this infuriating problem you should be embarrassed     Cant even open with iPad 1

In great frustration I have cancelled my subscription to this newspaper today There have been repeated problems with downloading despite me contacting the Telegraph repeatedly about my difficulty They certainly have not resolved the problem I subscribe to several overseas newspapers digital versions and do not encounter these difficulties The Telegraph cannot compare with the New York Times which is flawless and allows for articles to be saved for future use I strongly dissuade anyone from subscribing to the Daily Telegraph Dr Jerzy Z Przybojewski Cape Town South Africa     The Daily Telegraph digital version

The app is slow and unreliable The daily edition takes ages to download and the app itself sometimes fails to load correctly Once youre in navigation is easy and the content is of course good Disappointing app        Great content poor reliability

Firstly the Telegraph is my favourite broadsheet 5 stars However since the digital revolution I have tried several times over at least 14 months to adapt their iPad offering I am astounded to say that the app is still not reliable Equally I was dumbfounded to read other reviewers have been highlighting this problem consistently for months and it is still not fixed I had the dont recognise your subscription problem which was solved after the help desk got back to me after 2 days but really Dare I say it but the competitors have worked out the mechanics Thank goodness their journalists are at the top of their game because their technical department needs some focus        Astounded

Use this app with a digital subscription but since the last OS release it hasnt worked very well New editions dont appear until 24 hrs after publication and the support desk hasnt replied to three requests for assistance Used to be pleased with my subscription but not anymore     Gone downhill since last OS release

I love this paper I just wish the app was more reliable           Great content and presentation

Not updated enough        Its Tuesday November 6th at 10am and the App still only has Mondays edition

Slightly better But still fails to load every time and when it does takes to long to download        Disappointing

Looks like my daily edition appeared a lot quicker and I was able to download yesterdays in a reasonable time The Telegraph is my newspaper of choice and glad I have with me anytime anywhere Love me some Matt cartoons                 Seeing Improvement

Crashes on opening Unusable     Unusable

Long time Telegraph ipad subscriber All was well up until about SeptOct this year when one only received the newspaper for the day before couldnt get todays news Back in early October reported response was we know about it only affecting a few users when the moon and stars alignno so Repeatable problem No response Deleted app and ended subscription Will turn my interest to my other subscriptions UK Guardian and The Times Telegraph was a great paper too bad about this     Zero Stars To sum up support

I have tried to use this app for 2 years on my iPAD 1 and it has been absolutely rubbish I just recently upgraded to iPAD and it has not crashed for 3 straight weeks which is an all time record for this app In the past I was deleting and reloading the app every third day           Better with new iPAD 4

The amount of times this app crashes is really frustrating When it works first time it great but that is not often A number of bug fixes have not really resolved the automatic download function or cycle time that occurs when the app is opened Please please make it better        Inherent Instability

Still buggy as hell when you try to use with no Internet connection Just refuses to launch        Love the app but very fragile

It is surprising that a major news organisation can produce such an utterly useless app The download times are achingly slow and it has the unusual ability to freeze my ipad All paid for by subscription I buy other newspapers and magazines to read digitally and they all manage to get it right Makes you worry for the future of the Telegraph     Surprisingly bad

I could find no fault with the app However I was a little surprised at the cost of a subscription especially as the section I was most interested was not included I therefore cancelled the Auto renewal on iTunes Other than that brilliant app well done              Pretty good application

Crashes frequently Occasionally all photos and other images disappear while an issue is open and cannot be retrieved I sent a note to support about it and never heard back Issues sometimes are late Loading of an issue sometimes freezes or a page freezes and you have to kill the app and restart it     Still buggy

Wouldnt download latest edition so deleted app and reloadednow no editions available As somebody else said Thank goodness its a free trial I really enjoy the Telegraphwhen it worksplease get this fixed soonest     Driving me crazy

This app says I dont have a subscription when I try to sign in even though I do Love the newspaper but this app is total garbage     Crap

A great way to catch up with they key news items Lacks some of the depth of the paper or website however Update downgrading review from 4 to 3 due to constant download issues Content still very good though           Worth a read if you have patience

Currently does not work Running current OS Have tried shutting down the app deleting it and redownloading Cant send a message because that requires the app to work Even when it did work the updating was slow and prone to crashing     Does not work

I have been using this app for several years as I spent quite a bit of time in the USA I love to read the new and do the crossword and it keeps me in touch with goings on in the UK My favourite thing is the Galleries and is the first thing I look at each day Granted there is the occasional download problem but overall I have been pleased with it              Telegraph app

Most well organized newspaper app Ive seeneasy to find any article in current or past editions                 Easy to navigate
